I’ll never set my reading goal to 100 again, I literally forgot what books I read that year, I put so much pressure on myself to make it to 100 that I didn’t even digest what I read. Now, I’ve set it to 72 and I’m only picking up books I actually want to read not to make numbers, for enjoyment. This year I’ve read 37 books so far, and I’ve really enjoyed the majority of what I’ve read ❤

As for the rest of my TBR, I have The Way I Am Now by Amber Smith, The Rule Book by Sarah Adams, The Romcomers by Katherine Center, 28 Summers by Elin Hilderbrand, and Hideway With You by Judy Corry.

first of all: your hair!!! it looks gorgeous and suits you so well 💗 annabel monaghan has also become one of my new favorite authors, her books are truly amazing (my ranking would be same time next summer, summer romance and nora goes off script) i was lucky enough to get the arc for nothing like the movies and i know it will get mixed reviews but i personally loved it! could i have continued my life without the book? yes but it's always a pleasure to read more about some of your favorite characters and for me it was a 5 star read. the ending made me cry ☹ also!!!! thanks to your video i saw that m. l. rio is going to release a new book and i'm already looking forward to reading it because since i read if we were villains it became my favorite book EVER
Honestly I like going in blind to books as much as the next person but when it’s a highly anticipated book I feel like it kind of sets you up for failure. Like the brothers hawthorne for example the author specifically said it was an “in between” book that sets us up for the next one and it mainly features Jameson and Grayson. A lot of people went it blind and then were disappointed when it wasn’t more about Libby and nash when it was never supposed to be about that in the first place. I think when it comes to series it’s better to know what you’re getting into so you don’t make the book into something that it’s not and then get disappointed
This was fun and I have to check out Annabel Monaghan-I have all 3 of those books on my tbr and still haven’t read them! You’re new hair color and cut looks great, love it!
I also just read Nora Goes Off Script, Same Time Next Summer, and Summer Romance and absolutely fell in love with Annabel Monaghan's writing!! I also loved Just For The Summer of course and read all of Abbey Jimenez's books this year and she's def my new favorite romance author. Also read all of Emily Henrys books and I felt the same about Funny Story too just didn't love it. And I thought A Novel Love Story was so cute I enjoyed it. Looking forward to your reading journey the rest of this year!!
