Nice ideas to improve the ddd Deck. Will give it a try. But i suggest to play White Armageddon instead of Alex as the non target effect is insane. Further i am the only one who is in love with vice king Requiem as it is 1 card combo to Zeus. This had won some games for me and you can recycel your field spell.

Hi everyone! As promised, wanted to leave the takeaways I had for what I think was an interesting take on D/D/D. I think there are some definite changes needed as we move fully into PHHY format, and even more so from the ban list that dropped the same day as this profile. The biggest changes I would consider with the above in mind are: - Altering extra deck ratios so we don't get ripped by Kashtira (potentially even Dino with TK Lithosagym), leaving us unable to play - Adjust the main deck so we don't have to be so scared of Bystials, since there's a good chance main deck Bystials won't be as popular with the Tear hits (hopefully) - Finally but not least, switch up the non-engine/handtraps to better suit the format. Very obvious I'm sure. However, this is all speculation though, until we really get into the next format though. I do still think that there are some strong key notes to takeaway from this build and the experiences gained from it. List of some takeaways: - Ready Fusion felt great. D/D/D is in need of just 1 more starter/extender. With what's available in the game, a lvl6 Fiend body is nice. - 3 Orthos is actually not bad since level 4 tuner is insane flexibility in all stages of combo. - I do wish I could play the 2nd Machina just so we can safely trigger the King's reborn effects, I want to say we can cut Marksman, but it's really hard to say - In a deck that can't reliably slot in an Accesscode package, High King Alexander feels really solid - Imperms in all honesty were a necessary evil. Playing backrow doesn't feel great in a deck that often fills up all spell/trap zones as part of combo. However it's still a solid handtrap Next, I suppose it's best to address the unconventional ratios and card choices as seen in the profile: The following three choices were done to avoid the amount of graveyard manipulation that Bystials & Tear Ishizu created. - 2 Copernicus - 0 Vice Typhon - 0 High King Genghis I'm also sure many people are wondering why no consistency cards (Piri Reis Map, Small World, Desires, Allure, or even Prosp): Looking back, I definitely should have played something to improve consistency, but the following reasons for each card was why I felt reluctant at the time. - Piri Reis Map: A lot of players around me were on Swordsoul. It was super affordable and not Tear Ishizu, which meant it was popular. Which also meant I couldn't go to locals without putting myself to 0lp immediately with this card. - Small World: Would have been smart to play, because we need more copies of Swirl Slime in deck. At the time I was too focused on having enough non-engine to keep up opponents. - Desires: Too many important cards at 1 copy, so if you were forced to use it to start your turn, high chance the game was ending regardless since even 1 card gone can impact your whole board. - Allure: I don't mind playing this card especially with Bystials in main, but too many additional spell/trap non-engine was introduced to the deck. - Prosp: I know some people tried playing this in D/D/D, but I find the extra deck to be very tight on space. I couldn't ever fathom what minimum 3 I would ever want to banish. Might be a skill issue. This is all the stuff I currently recall in terms of takeaways and food for thought. Hope to update this as we learn more about what's to come or see you in the next profile! Love you all
I've had a chance to keep playing the deck here and there in the new format, and currently it has morphed back into the traditional list of D/D/D. Utilizing Vice Typhon & High King Genghis and the sorts! Ready Fusion is still solid in theory, but since the punish of Kashtira ripping it out of extra deck can be harsh, I've been looking to put the tech on pause in the meantime. It definitely has it's weaknesses though (like opening multiple/using one already), but it still provides a certain amount of upside in most cases. This was posted during Tearlament format, rather the end of it since the banlist dropped later the same day as this video's release
Aka why the list is on a multitude of Bystials
Currently, I wouldn't really advise Ready Fusion in DDD for Kashtira format anyways
However, to answer your question: Ready Fusion/Bystial + Orthos into Baron was always an option but not the go to line since you indeed use your normal summon typically for Gilgamesh
When your hand has extenders or something like swirl slime + 2 random names (ideally one of them lvl4), you can typically pull it off
But this would be stretching into hypotheticals of ideal hands
For the most part though
you use the lvl 6 body to put up a countermeasure before your real combo aslong as your hand can actually combo
Otherwise you stick the 6 up first
And use it later in combo
This is where in hindsight I should have played Bright Armageddon as an end piece
But you can often save a lot of a headache using a Genghis and Ready Fusion target to make the Wave King at an earlier point in combo
Fuuuuuuck 🔥🔥🔥
