The Mcgonagall on the trophy was not the same as the professor. Trophy was awarded in 1971 and James Potter at 1972. And we know from the books that Prof McGon. taught the Marauders while they were in school (her feeling bad for scolding Pettigrew).
My favorite Trelawny scene is in the books actually, "The first to rise is the first who dies!" and dumbledore stood up. He ended up being the first to die out of the characters at the feast that night.
AT 5:40 the clothing dying scene is actually in the extended cut of the movie. It doesn't add anything but us bookers love that scene xD Dudly and his damn poker too haha!

Daniel Radcliffe had an allergic reaction to his green contact lenses, not the glasses, hence why he didn’t actually have ‘his mother’s eyes’ for the series. The only time he has them was one of the first scenes shot, ironically the last scene in the first movie when Harry says goodbye to Hagrid to board the train home - his teary eyes are quite appropriate but it’s actually due to his allergy to the lenses bless him, and they were ditched shortly afterwards 😇👁

I think it is funny that he asks how many spells did Harry cast while the scene of the one spell he did cast is playing out. It is true that for a school of magic, as a student of spells, Harry Potter does not seem very inclined to use his magic, but he was in the class with the others trying this spell. Even if he failed, he still cast the spell. Farther more while not a spell he was the one that made the glass vanish and reappear in the reptile house.

I actually took the salute from the cast of Oh! What A Lovely War, back in 1969, ostensibly because I'd found the battledress uniforms, but in hindsight, to deliver the message the yoith of those involved remains a factor then and now. I was actually 14, and had had to sort out the Cadet Force Stores, to fing one small enough to fit. At the bottom of a heap of WW2 battledress was a huge box full of uniforms from 1917. I finished, then reported back to the Admin Major, who was on the phone (yes, it was the birthplace of the National Youth Theatre movement, and would admit a certain Jude Law a decade later). Anyway, he was on the phone, "No, Dickie, we don't have any WW1 uniforms. What is it, Rahere? We do? Well, you talk to Mr Attenborough then" As a result, a couple of months later, special orders, be on parade 0630 Saturday, school gates. So there I was at sparrowfart, when a toot comes down the road, and a charabanc heaves into sight, loaded down with more famous actors than you can shake a stick at - including a young Maggie Smith. Later in the film, she sings of making a man of a baby boy scout - needless to say, that became the unit marching song!
