      Time turners don't work like that you can't go that far back in time it's a built in rule. The only way McGonagall could be there is if she was already born and that old.. maybe at some point she got put into a snow white coma by spell or beast and was awoke years later unaged and just kept teaching.

      Dumbledore has always been manipulative.
      The cases were just a 3-card monte and each character was manipulated to pick specific case. It is a simple muggle magic trick. Dumbledore told Jacob which case not to take. Which then caused Newt to take the case that was triggered to melt, because he thought it was real. In turn, Theseus and Lally just took the cases closest to them, which implied they knew theirs were decoys. Basically, everyone thought Newt had the real case.

      In the planning scene in the train Yusuf says that he already has with him what he needs. Dumbledore possibly took the memory out of him and put it into a phial and replaced it with a different, fake one. He may have the phial with him or the original memory may be safe in Dumbledore 's pensive. I think this was in the original screenplay by J. K. and it ended up being just hinted at in the final script when the movie plot got simplified.

      The fact that I can relate to this world and its characters even more so than Harry Potter any regardless of the fact that these movies are just made with more passion and effort than the Harry Potter movies which says a lot because the David Yates Harry Potter movies In particular are some of the most cash Grabby Soulless Things that I have ever experienced, Only been made for efficiency and for them to make an easy paycheck. Here it actually seems like he let alone the rest of the crew a lot of Whom worked on his Harry Potter movies seem to have A lot more fun and therefore put a lot more effort into making these movies as if they actually want to be there and making them which again his Harry Potter movies just felt like they wanted to get this over and done with in the most efficient and lacklustre way possible Not truly being connected to the world that they are telling/portraying and just making it seem very generic and mediocreLy made. In these movies, you feel a lot of nuance and just a better sense of fun and connection to the world and characters going on. It’s kind of hard to explain and understand the words but if you go back and watch his Harry Potter movies compared to the fantastic beasts you’ll see what I mean. With these movies they are able to make it so that way even if it’s not directly using John Williams music for example all the time which they do do more here it just truly captures the feeling and natural Ness of being in the Wizarding world more.
      I also find a newt to be quite a relatable character to me; he has become one of my top favourite characters in all of fiction and also just relatable to me through his personality and nuance in the way that he does things and approach the world. If you truly know him and truly know these movies than you truly know me and vice versa if that makes any sense :-) we also get to see a lot of the Wizarding world we never going to see or even hear about in the box let alone answer a lot of backstory like Dumbledore and Grindelwald to play such a key part in the whole Harry Potter series and it just really Feels like the missing piece is coming in to conclude it and fill in the holes.
      This is all in a nutshell why I truly care about these movies And why they should not prematurely and and have them be filled to the way that they truly were intended and also true we overall deserve foresee a lot of other people who really like to have grown to really like these movies almost or just as much as I do or even better in some ways :-)

If they used the Room of Requirement, the Room's supposed to provide all your needs, so it should have provided the cases for them. Also why was GG able to be witch like that? Dumbledore’ s age is also a plot hole because Dumbledore is supposed to at least 150 years old in the HP films in 1990s but in this movie it’s the 1920s and he’s about late 30s maybe mid 40s in age. That would mean he would only be in his mid 80s in HP

    • @jar-jarsforceghost1352
      @jar-jarsforceghost1352 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pottermore doesn’t exactly ignore the movies though, and it’s while certain things from the books went unsaid/unfilmed or were changed to be better for the screen, it’s not like they messed with people’s ages or important laws/dates or any of the hard facts like that. The first eight movies are surprisingly faithful to the books and pottermore includes both as canon.
      Not to mention, if the movies happen in a different universe where mcgonagall was be born at a minimum 26 years earlier than usual (8 years back from actual birth + 18 when graduating hogwarts) not including the two years she canonically spent working at the ministry before starting at hogwarts, that makes her nearly 90 years old by the end of the series and also means she would have taught Voldemort (and would likely be one of very few people who knew him as Tom riddle), but during Harry’s flashback in chamber of secrets dumbledore is the transfiguration teacher because professor dippet is still headmaster, meaning mcgonagall would have had to be teaching something else, but we know it wasn’t potions, divination, or defense against the dark arts because those teachers are all mentioned by name or appearance in the movies meaning that she would’ve had to teach magical creatures, charms, or herbology because none of the other classes except muggle studies are brought up at all in the movies, none of which seem like a thing she would do, and we end up with a totally different mcgonagall by the end of it all.
      TL;DR, she literally cannot be alive if she’s even remotely the same character as the one in the original movies, and the fantastic series is booty cheeks when it comes to continuity

    I've never seen anything lazier in a movie, than Grindelwald using Vulnera Sanentur on the dead Qilin.
    1- Vulnera Sanentur is the countercurse to Sectumsempra
    2- Both curse and countercurse were only invented some 40 years later by Severus Snape
    3- Something tells me that a spell that literally translates to "wounds will heal" might not be effective on a freaking dead creature, especially in a universe where it is made very clear that magic cannot resuscitate the dead and this is one of the main parts of the entire message of the saga
    4- what Grindelwald does is clearly turn the Qilin into an Inferius, which we don't know how to do/what kind of dark ritual does it involve, but damn, screenwriters, couldn't you make something up? Not even a dammit dedicated verbal spell?? Really??!

      Jacob actually explained how the cases worked. It was just a 3-card monte and each character was manipulated to pick specific case. A simple muggle magic trick. Dumbledore told Jacob which case not to take. Which then caused Newt to take the case that was triggered to melt, because he thought it was real. In turn, Theseus and Lally just took the cases closest to them, which implied they knew theirs were decoys. Basically, everyone thought Newt had the real case.

      @SuperMoviemaster21 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, I know for a fact the series was not a mistake or a plot hole. And I feel sorry that you feel this way towards it.
