I patiently sat down and listen to Shawn Bolz 44minute homily on "My Sheep Hear My Voice"-I unfortunately, reached already" 19: 09 minutes marker" BUT still did not hear any BIBLICAL TEXT to start w/ and the exegesis & explication of the TEXT. What I heard are anecdotes, a toss of Hebrew words: "shama" & "mada". Ah yes, at "19: 11 minute marker", finally a SCRIPTURE was cited: 1 Corinthians 2:9. Where is the exegesis & explication related to ur TOPIC: "My Sheep Hear My Voice"?

Bet you cant prophesy as accurately without an internet connection. You use your phone to research the people you have words for before services/meetings/social media events... pretty junior man. Then you write it in your phone and "minister" later during the services. I bet you cant go into any supermarket in America and go cold turkey with a stranger and give them a word ...
I want more example in the bible on the word of knowlegde

I want to know why my life was stolen from me 50 years ago at 8, literally as i died. because i cannot be what i was born to be, i have know idea what it was. tbi from the incident left me uneducated. i have barely survived financially many years of unemployment. tbi made it so i dont fit in anywhere. I have no peace, no joy and no hope for this life.
Hi Todd, Saddening to hear your problem. Please don't give up on life, many of us have the same problem. But we are well today because we turned to the Lord JESUS. Amen and amen, hallelujah, Praise the Lord God YHWH the Almighty, Omnipotent One.

Hi Todd, I hope this reply find you doing better now. I noticed that no-one responded to your initial comment and I believe our God lead me to encourage you. I just happenstanced upon your comment and felt the Father's heart to respond to your heart pain. First of all, Man....I am so sorry that you have experienced so much loss and heartbreak in your life. I clicked on your name and saw part of the video of the tornado that took out your shop. That really sucks. My dad only made it to the 5th grade so Ive seen him struggle for years because of a lack of education but the Lord blessed him with a labor job with the State Highway Department in KY. It wasn't easy but he survived to retirement. I assume that when you write tbi, you are speaking of a traumatic brain injury from an accident? So sorry to hear that. My mom has been in a nursing home for 27 years now (she's now 69) from a traumatic brain injury. She knows me but doesn't remember a visit even if it were an hour ago. I tell you these things to express sympathy though I have no direct experience with your struggles. I do know this. God (your Creator) loves you in spite of your handicaps. Secondly, I know he doesn't steal but we have an enemy that does. Thirdly, it may seem like you don't fit in, but know there is a place in God's Kingdom where you fit in perfectly. I don't know you but I would suspect you have had lots of questions for the Lord in your heart. I want to encourage you to try again. To reach out to a solid Christian community that is not religious or flakey but embraces the Holy Spirit. The peace and joy you are searching for and find lacking can be found in Christ Jesus. I don't say that in a religious way. I say that as an encouragement to run to the source of Him who can turn your sorrow into joy and give you peace that passes understanding. Lastly, He will give you a hope (happy expectation) that He desires to awaken you to the reality that Jesus takes up all the real estate. He wants you to know that He lives insides of you, has redeemed you, and set you free. I believe as your surrender to him who loves you you can begin to experience a joy in this life like never before. He will never leave you or forsake you. Our problem generally starts with our abandonment and rejection of God, not the other way around. Listen to God's word, believe for healing, and know that life doesn't end here on earth. What you lack here, Jesus will restore in eternity. Yes, Jesus really is your answer. Don't allow the lies of the enemy to keep you bound to your past. Don't allow your identity to be wrapped up in what has happened to you. Focus your affections on Him who wants to move through you. Trust God like never before. I would love to hear what the Lord does for you as you reach out to Him. May God restore to you the years that you feel have been taken from you. He can. May the Lord bless you and keep you Todd.

Too bad he talks too much and doesn't get to the point. Regardless, for those searching for TRUTH, God really LOVES and cares about you. In this world, we have a choice to serve satan , (the god of this world), or the true and living GOD. The Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) We have the freedom right now==== while we are living==== to make a choice. Sin separates us from a Holy God, but Christ bridges that gap. The Bible says, 'if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." I encourage you to give your life to God by praying this (sample) prayer of salvation. You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain: Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I ask that you please forgive me of my sins. I believe by faith, that you died on the cross for payment of my sins, and that my sin debt was paid in full. Jesus, please come into my life now and make me yours----please take control. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and make me a new creation. I place my trust in you for my salvation, and I thank you for the gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, I pray. AMEN!

You are missing the point of how Shawn shares, he shares what God is doing in his life- BECAUSE - God is working through a vessel that CHOOSES to be available to the GREAT I AM that created him! His stories ARE real, He's NOT a braggart! I've met him & he IS that down to earth, & he uses scripture to back up what he shares.
