This is not an official “full on Boomstick Gaming review” but instead, my brief overall opinion on the game.
For those of you that don't know If you die and your tech scrap is dropped, the timer for how long you have until it disappears can be increased by killing enemies along the way taking you from 2 mins to grab it to up to 6 and counting so you don't have to kamikaze your way through enemies hoping to make it in time
Yeah for the delver fight if you kill the little dudes around the top of it's lair quickly you get a boost on your timer so you can then just leave your tech scrap where you died in his lair and kite the boss over there during the fight, for a heal over time buff.
I had no idea about this and put in about 30 hours playing so far lol. How have i never noticed this? I have killed enemies on my way but must have not been paying attention to the timer. Huge help.
Instead of mashing attack buttons, if you time your input properly between each attack it consumes only half the stamina. Doing it right is indicated by a small flash on your stamina bar. It's very useful if you're playing with stamina-heavy weapons or don't have a lot of stamina in general.
My Tip: Learn Directional Parry! Don't be lazy by sticking to the same 'attack, dodge, attack, dodge' tactic like I did initially :) I forced myself to learn directional parry because it's orgasmic once you master it, especially in boss fights. And the already deep combat will feel even more enhanced.
This game has such an awesome deep combat system. Once you get the feel for it and start doing directional blocking more it really becomes fun and addictive.
Best Spear in the game is Gaia spear from the huge statue robots. Galvanizer and Chryssalis set combo is pretty OP. That Electro-Nano combo with fast as hell spear is just killing everything...
wow, I thought the EMP was just a door opener. I don't use my drone much because I'm scared of being short of ammo in tight situations, but now I'm spamming the heck out of the emp.

@@captainmay9033 I'll play Tsushima for its world and atmosphere rather than its combat. And I'm hesitant to get into Sekiro for its difficulty. Is it way harder than Bloodborne and Surge games like everyone says?
Sinan Uluc I agree about Tsushima, but trust me: the combat ain’t no slouch. On Sekiro, yes the bosses can be ridiculously hard. I still haven’t been able to beat the final boss. But you should still try it mate. Best action game bar none. Once you get the hang of the combat, forget it. My fingers are literally missing it right now. You must try it.

its more a of metroidvainia sort of thing. its a bit of a maze with interlinking areas that connect via shortcuts that you can take advantage of after obtaining certain key items.
It’s surprising to see, people not knowing how to pre-charge the injectable, is such a common comment. Like what would be the point of battery charges? And what did you think upgrading it over health or stamina even do? Being able to chain amputatations better or something lol?
The difficulty was spot on IMO, they truly nailed the challenge curve. A bit tougher than Surge 1, I believe they hit the sweet spot. No matter how much you play, you continue to improve at roughly the same rate until you really start to master the combat and the ceiling finally starts to solidify.
Great editing dude! Though I find these kind of videos a little bit unnecessary. I mean, imagine if there were video tutorials like this for Dark Souls back then. Would've kinda ruined the 1st time experience^^
Eric Schuster I disagree. Not everyone that plays games is a pro gamer. Some people have different struggles and getting help keeps them playing. I remember when I was young struggling with Zelda Ocarina of Time and getting stuck. A gameplay walkthrough, in written form, was all that was available back then. If not for that I would have never finished it.

I don't understand the mechanics of this game but I'm telling you boss difficulties I believe very depending on your levels The first two times I went up against this boss he took me 10 maybe 15 tries but this third time that I played the game I went up against him with much more power than the first two times and he absolutely demolished me 50 times in a row maybe more explain that I can't I just don't get it
Enemy health implant is a waste of a implant slot.
What do you mean? It's very useful. I get the most use out of it with the stability bar.
Is this game open world? Or level based
its more a of metroidvainia sort of thing. its a bit of a maze with interlinking areas that connect via shortcuts that you can take advantage of after obtaining certain key items.
This is on Gamepass. Score!
It’s surprising to see, people not knowing how to pre-charge the injectable, is such a common comment. Like what would be the point of battery charges? And what did you think upgrading it over health or stamina even do? Being able to chain amputatations better or something lol?
Game is so hard
First
Give me some loveeee
It seems the game is much easier then the first one?
The first game had medicore difficulty balancing, which made it artificially hard. The Surge 2 is "properly" hard.
It's not easier than the first one, I promise.
@@JG-wv6bj I played the first one and I could never get into it. I'm loving 2 so much, and I love the Bloodborne type of aggressive play style.
it is not trying to drive you nuts with death after death but it does offer some challenge which is good
The difficulty was spot on IMO, they truly nailed the challenge curve. A bit tougher than Surge 1, I believe they hit the sweet spot. No matter how much you play, you continue to improve at roughly the same rate until you really start to master the combat and the ceiling finally starts to solidify.
No spoiler warning ;/ Anyway good video.
Wish this didn't show bosses. Spoiled rest of the game for me. Might move on to another game instead
....Well, that’s kind of shallow of you....
Instead of using the drone u can just u a shock weapon and basically never take damage
You sound like your held hostage and depressed trying to make a living
This game is garbage
Your just bad at it l o l
Surge 2 for $9.99
Where ?
Pierre François in the future 🔮
This game deserves 30-35$ at least. But will be happy to grab it for less in a year...
