I have almost 1k hours and have played since the early playtests. The weirdest thing about this game is you kinda have to play like you have wall hacks. If someone is truly cheating it’s very hard to tell. My best example of this is sometimes I’ll even pretend to not see players and go from “not knowing where they are” to “snapping on” just to get an advantage on them. Another is being ready at all times rogue ptsd is real especially for experienced players haha
Regardless this is a win win kinda it’s free publicity and if dimo is cheating Wilson is right and that’s one less cheater. If he’s wrong dimo gets rewarded with being so good people accuse him of cheating 😂

My thing with the wizard clip at 9:30 is that any decent player holds their cross hair and waits for the player to move into it when they are strafing/juking, so dimo waited until the mage stopped moving and was committing to the magic missle then threw an easy axe at him. Not sus at all.
I think it's his skill/experience, and as you mentioned a high mouse sensitivity. I watch a lot of his video's. He's great at explaining what the players might do and what he should be looking out for in tutorial video's. Based on a lot or factors and +1000hrs played. For instance, he takes note of the classes + subclasses in the lobby. He mentions torches often, so I'm sure he tracks that. And also comes close to death in many of those encounters where one more hit would have killed him
It's extremely hard to identify aimbots from footage alone.. I have some clips from Hunt: Showdown where I snap to someones head (low sens) and it looks insanely sus, but is just lucky / predictive shooting from 2500 hours of play
The only clip from that video that still baffles me is the 100° turn and Franny throw in the complete opposite direction from the target he was after. That being said, my cat plowed through my mouse cord earlier and I did some wild shit, too.

He only got caught blatantly cheating in high roller because one of his friends in a private discord outed him doing it and recorded it. Dytch was a regular in collector's, he was our admin which lord collector was busy with school and Dytch came in daily streamed and showed off a lot of stuff that was probably cheating but never made it LOOK like cheating. By the time that clip of Dytch was public, Dytch had gone full mask off making alts and didn't care about hiding it. Dytch literally never got got in game and shamed anyone who called him out or outright BANNED them with his position and power to do so even on the official discord.Todd is really dumb for being like "this is what REAL aimbot" looks like when Dimo would have a good reason to hide it and Dytch was showing it off on purpose.

Based on the gaming sphere and incentives for content creators there is an example in quite literally every game with a following of someone using software to alter their gameplay in someway. So is DnD's example Dimo? I'm too new to the game to have a valid opinion but before I knew about all the accusations and drama I remember thinking his videos and play was noticably different then Repoze or NotLikeThis. I couldn't put my finger on what it was and after learning of the drama it did seem to track, but again, not enough time to have an opinion really.
In the video he posts he cuts important parts out that provide crucial information like sounds and footsteps. In my honest opinion he watched a Dimo clip, thought he just witnessed ESP behavior, only to edit a video, realize he missed information while editing, but instead of stopping he just doubled down and hid information. He even talks over footsteps and turns Dimo's game sound real low in his clip. He's worse than someone speculating. He's covering up important details to make his accusations look valid. That's fucking scummy and criminal. No due diligence and a hack job of "investigative reporting." This dude is a clown show and he just proved he's a trash person and that Dimo is the D&D angel we all love him for. The community owes Dimo all the support we can give him. I couldn't imagine what such a great man who makes videos to help new players and generally just loves the game is feeling after being attacked by members of his community for baseless hackusations. If you read this Dimo, we love you. Keep making great content and don't let this slow you down one bit.
true and true. but lets not forget there has been people on the leaderboards occupying number one slot for a year who later were caught cheating. a full year of cheating. its impossible to know if dimo is cheating but its also impossible to draw that conclusion from the videos. only ironmace will know if they check his logs and do some pattern recognition.

dimo is a beast definitely not aimbotting he has high sensitivity and hes good that makes him look sus the fact that this guy went over all his videos frame by frame to get just this! not a single clear evidence and giving clips without context onepeg went over these clips from dimo's videos and heard all the footsteps from the people in these sus clips.

Did you watch the second video? I don't know about aimbot but it looks a lot like Dimo has ESP to me. The rage and Achilles while pretending to be jumped by a landmine rogue looks pretty bad. I have my lucky moments too but Dimo has a LOT of lucky moments which raises a red flag. Honestly I think Wilson is mistaken on some points or overestimates being sure of aimbot or motivation but... Yeah something isn't right about Dimo's gameplay outside of his youtube videos and there's a lot he doesn't show when it looks it's worst. When questioned about it before wilson's drama he just insulted and called the people saying it nobodies looking for attention. I think it's really weird he always acts like anyone who is suspicious of cheaters is looking for attention when it's common knowledge DaD had no anticheat for the vast majority of it's playtests and still has a massive cheating/RMT problem to this day.

That's just not how aim works in my opinion, there's an old clip of shroud examining cheaters in CS and saying how it looks weird because of it returning to the original position perfectly and how he himself flicks but that is not normal. It's possible Dimo is legit and his high sens and a combination of luck is making it look worse than it is but it's... unlikely in my opinion. 2) The clip where he rages and Achilles BEFORE knowing there is a rogue next to him then acting surprised when he gets land mined. Who just blows rage randomly like that? Guess it could be a fat finger or a random whim that bailed him out but that's not normal either. If you don't hesitate before entering a dark room that just show's you have 0 game knowledge. IF the rogue was invis at the light side where the torch was and Dimo jumped to the dark side after entering the room there that would have been very suspicious cus it just defies common sense if you've played this game.

Dimo might be cheating or not. Wilson is in the wrong to try and take the matter into his own hands. When Dimo does his explanation on the rogue jiggle peak he say the following: "I pay attention to everything, I saw the lights turned off and doors open and assumed someone was there". All fair so far. Then he says: "I didn't even see the rogue actually, I tried to jump on the lamp but failed". The big problem Dimo has here is the fact that he is probably not cheating at all but he trapped himself in his persona of a 4000 hour game guru who somehow misses a jump on a lamp. All he had to do is fire up a stream on twitch as soon as Wilson was out with the video and prove his point, maybe even farm some new viewers. He didn't do that because he'd have much harder time pretending to be omniscient game master without being able to edit his videos
I agree the only weird clip is the franny pillar thing, but even in that clip, slow down the video and and pay close attention to where EXACTLY his crosshair is at the time he flicks and throws it. In this video you say dead center of the pillar but it isn't. It's on the bottom right of the pillar, almost at the ground. If this was an aimbot in action it would have to be the shittiest softaim ever, because if we assume dimo is using aimbot in that clip, then the cheat just snapped his crosshair onto the foot of the guy behind the pillar. The crosshair is absolutely not at chest level or head level. Still I'm not saying the clip isn't weird, but no other clip that wilson shows corroborates this example. The whole rest of the video imo is actually just wilson coping harder than I have ever seen someone cope about someone being better at the game than he is because none of those other clips are sus at all.

I agree the ESP/player tracking accusations are weak. The aiming evidence seems a lot stronger, but I'm still not 100% on it.

He complains that wilson isn't showing the full context or the edits show it in a bad light to emphasize his point but dimo himself doesn't show the full context of a lot of stuff to defend himself which I find.... strange to say the least. Honestly I think the first wilson video doesn't have any thing too solid in it that can't be explained away but the second one showing some of those clips is a lot more of a nail in a coffin. Wilson is a casual player and he's not a big youtuber so I don't think he understands the implications of defamation fully and is just going off his gut. I really doubt wilson has a grudge or wants to cancel Dimo for malicious reasons, I truly do believe wilson thought that stuff was cheating and decided to just call it out. I don't blame him either. It's a shame because I was a fan of Dimo but the first time he got called out he punched down and insulted the person calling him out so I kinda lost faith in the guy. Dimo is a fun person to watch, he's got a funny voice and even if he is cheating he's a talented player so it's just.... I dunno, a real shame. People are entitled to their opinions but Dimo isn't cut and dry innocent here and I wish people would stop pretending it's so "obvious" dimo is innocent when it's not.
I also don't know if going to the devs would be the right choice considering their history of unbanning or making cheaters moderators. They are nice devs who will respond to your DMs but they also unbanned Dytch so like.... ehh lol, not like I'd trust them to ban someone who was bringing the game popularity either.

It's a job for a Dimo and a hobby for wilson. I could probably overlook the aimbot thing and say maybe that just looks weird due to his computer lagging, high sense and luck.... it's more the accusations of ESP he's been under for awhile and how he chooses to respond to it that's been the red flag for me. Honestly if Dimo IS innocent I wish he'd just handle it differently because the way he hurts insults and ignores half of what is said muddies the water too much. I enjoyed Dimo and think he's a fun personality so the best case scenario would be that he just plainly shows everyone he's not cheating in simple ways. I'd prefer for him to be innocent for the record I've just also watched this community get worse and worse with them when it comes to cheating so it's maybe my own personal bias too. I'm still mad at the devs for giving so much power to known cheaters and forgiving them so many times.

The rogue thing is like kinda dumb tbh, like you walk into a room lamps that are normally on are off i 100% am wary of a rogue already especially at the corner where there's no light like that's common knowledge at this point. If you don't hesitate before entering a dark room that just show's you have 0 game knowledge. IF the rogue was invis at the light side where the torch was and Dimo jumped to the dark side after entering the room there that would have been very suspicious cus it just defies common sense if you've played this game.
Dimo is cheating, at least aimbot. The panther snap is just too sus. Cant do this in an instant before the animation even finished and the panther head was visible

Dimo might be cheating or not. Wilson is in the wrong to try and take the matter into his own hands. When Dimo does his explanation on the rogue jiggle peak he say the following: "I pay attention to everything, I saw the lights turned off and doors open and assumed someone was there". All fair so far. Then he says: "I didn't even see the rogue actually, I tried to jump on the lamp but failed".
The big problem Dimo has here is the fact that he is probably not cheating at all but he trapped himself in his persona of a 4000 hour game guru who somehow misses a jump on a lamp. All he had to do is fire up a stream on twitch as soon as Wilson was out with the video and prove his point, maybe even farm some new viewers. He didn't do that because he'd have much harder time pretending to be omniscient game master without being able to edit his videos
I'm convinced dimo dubs over his clips after the fact. Which is really not a big deal but yeah
I agree the only weird clip is the franny pillar thing, but even in that clip, slow down the video and and pay close attention to where EXACTLY his crosshair is at the time he flicks and throws it. In this video you say dead center of the pillar but it isn't. It's on the bottom right of the pillar, almost at the ground. If this was an aimbot in action it would have to be the shittiest softaim ever, because if we assume dimo is using aimbot in that clip, then the cheat just snapped his crosshair onto the foot of the guy behind the pillar. The crosshair is absolutely not at chest level or head level. Still I'm not saying the clip isn't weird, but no other clip that wilson shows corroborates this example. The whole rest of the video imo is actually just wilson coping harder than I have ever seen someone cope about someone being better at the game than he is because none of those other clips are sus at all.

Dimo ain't cheating, all the speculation with the rogue scenario is bs, i would be accused of cheating many times if people saw my video clips because as a rogue main if i seen any torches off i shoot randomly towards darkness and do very similar things like jumping on torches and stuff. Also dimo himself made a very valid point, why would he push towards the rogue with a full inventory if hes using esp and has knowledge of what players have. Plus i've seen the man miss hundreds of throwing knifes, aimbot isnt aimbot if it doesnt make you hit the target, at that point its aim assist lol.

Initially, I thought It was sus, but can kinda be explained by game knowledge and skill. Torch was off on that side of the doorway. He inspected pregame probably knew there were other rogues in the lobby. The reaction time was kinda insane tho ngl.

The room with the elevator where he walks behind the other invis rogue is virtually unexplainable other than by luck. We can give him that. I don't know if he's cheating but that is the single most sus thing he did. I have almost as much play time as him. I'm definitely as good as he is. I've killed him many times. It doesn't really change the situation though. But it doesn't really matter because Wilson literally made himself look like a fool and then dimo did the same lol
You can go back and watch countless hours of gameplay and willing to bet he's jumped on a roaster going into the mid room maybe 4 times max

The fact that the first rogue clip was what put him on the witch hunt says it all. I'm only 200 hours in the game, and if I walked in middle room and saw a lantern out, I would 100% do a double take at the least. The amount of people that agree on the rogue clip being sus seems insane.
