Whistler Resort Guide - The Skiing, The Après, The Food and the Non Ski Activities

- In this next great resort video, we tell you everything you need to know about Whistler, from where is best to ski, great hotel choices and awesome places to eat and après.
We also take you on board some superb non-ski activities to do while in Whistler.
We travelled with BA and actually flew into Seattle to have a few days there before travelling up to Vancouver and then we drove up to Whistler from Vancouver.
We stayed in the Four Seasons Whistler, it's a great choice if you want pure luxury, but other great choices include The Fairmont Chateau (also slightly out of town) or you can also take a look at Delta Village Suites, The Pan Pacific, and The Hilton.
There are plenty of ski hire places we used Whistler Blackcomb ski/snowboard rental equipment (skis, boots, and poles or snowboard boots and board) at the Whistler Blackcomb Store in the Four Seasons Hotel for ease.
We used Ziptrek Eco Tours for the Ziptrek tour and would highly recommend them and Vallea Lumina was well wort an evening visit.
We would also recommend visiting the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) during your stay and also bubly™ Tube Park at Whistler Blackcomb great if you have younger kids or adults that haven't grown up yet!

Glacier Creek
A spectacular, spacious setting with floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning root stalk chandeliers on Blackcomb Mountain.
Crystal Hut
A cozy log cabin on Crystal Ridge sitting high and mighty at 1,845 metres (6,053 feet). It is famous for it's waffles and hot chocolate.

Nice review. Tempted me to just book Whistler for xmas & new year 2025, having just returned from Sun Peaks for xmas 2024! Sadly just couldn't justify the insane costs for the four seasons hotel, as nice and loverly as it looks.

What I can see almost all the chairlifts are old fashion. Especially in comparison with Austria. Price/quality wise it is not in balance. Overpriced.
but whistler has snow the most important thing, bubbles don't work in whistler because it is often very windy
you can buy a car for what they want for ski and stay 5 nights
