Sofia, don't worry. Michelle said, "Share your pros and cons of your sewing machine you currently use." That is all you have to do.😁 You'll do great. I know it!
Hahaha I’m just pulling mine out the closet too!! Ps, I have arthritis and sclerodactyly and just want to recommend a “grounding wrist band” I’ve been using a grounding sheet on my bed and it’s a copper threaded sheet(wear band) and helps the inflammation like I’ve never experienced! My body doesn’t wake up in pain anymore and I’ve only even using it for a week or so! I think they might be less than $10 on Amazon, I think it’s worth at least a try for you! God bless and thank you for this review, very needed!
Zelda, I use Madam Sews seam guide too! I love it. Makes sewing seams so accurate. The thread cutter is an absolute necessity a non-negotiable!! My BabyLock has it and I can't sew without it. I have a Brother XR9550 back-up machine that is very similar to yours and did come with the slide-in table but no thread cutter. The BabyLock Presto II looks like a GREAT machine! Be sure to buy it from a dealer so you have support. Great overview Zelda! 🥰💖
Yes, ma'am, I am getting it from a dealer! No Amazon purchase on that one! Those madam sews are amazing. Have a great week! I'm sure I will talk with you before next week!
I just got the same machine from Amazon about 2 months ago. So far I really like it. I had another Brother just before it but it started really acting crazy. I can use the needle threader but it’s a little stiff acting but I just take my time with it and go very gentle. I’ve found you have to get the needle in a high position and I can’t see the teeny hook I just have to feel the thread going on it and then I can easily thread the needle with it. So far I haven’t needed a brace but arthritis in both hands can be painful. I actually broke my right arm several years back in 8 different places. I have to stay stitch all my seams before I put it on the machine. My hand & arm just couldn’t handle fighting to keep those seams together. I too love my seam guide. I don’t like the thread cutter either because of the discomfort it causes to my hands &arm. I just cut my threads with little scissors that come In manicure kits.
Oh my goodness, you broke your arm! I don't believe I have any broken bones in my body, but I'm sure it was very painful. You will love that sewing machine. It is going to be my travel sewing machine when I take my quilting classes. Thanks for stopping by.
Zelda, I am late seeing this but I'm here. I was going to purchase your machine for my daughter, but decided to give her my Singer machine (Singer Stylist 7258) to be sure she wanted to learn. Great overview Zelda!
Thank you so much for joining the hashtag Zelda! I've added your video to the playlist😊. I appreciate you sharing all your pros and cons!

Thank you for stopping by and for the tip! I'll have to check that out!
Great review of the Brother machine. I like the speed and lettering features. Oh and the button to lift the needle 😀
5hank you so much, and thanks for watching! What do you have on your sowing table this week?
@@ZeldaSews finishing up with M7778. Although it’s a easy make, I’m having a challenge with fit 😫
