I cannot even begin to tell you how grateful I am to you guys for these videos!!!! My entire medical school uses these AND I have even discovered that my neighbor, who is studying to be a paramedic, and his class use them as well. Thank you so much!!!!!
You forgot to mention the retromandibular vein , actually , the facial vein joins with anterior division of retromandibular vein to form the common facial vein that drains to IJV and the posterior division of retromandibular vein and posterior auricular vein joins to form EJV I think you did it to make the thing less confusing 😉 anyway good job ❤️
This is so clear, I love how you made the flow chart so simple and easy to understand - thank you and keep making these amazing videos (the artery one was so helpful too)!
+Mesopotamian We are so happy to hear that! Our team here at ninja nerd worked really hard to make these types of videos flow smoothly and easy to follow! So glad to help! Keep studying!
Thank you..this is going to fit into a diagnostic puzzle for my GP. I had a dopplar scan in 2019 that showed very turbulent flow in my superior vena cava and all other veins running thru there. HA!
You should have shown inf thyroid vein draining braciocephalic and post division of retro mandibular joining post auricular to form external jugular vein ....but still a helpful video
When the maxillary vein joins the superficial temporal vein around the area of the parotid gland it forms the retromandibular vein. The retromandibular vein will then divide into two: an anterior and posterior division. Anterior retromandibular vein will join with the facial vein to form the common facial vein which drains into the IJV. Posterior retromandibular vein along with the posterior auricular vein will form the external jugular vein

Hey there, I believe the Superior Petrosal sinus drains in to the Transverse sinus, not the Sigmoid sinus
correct
Superior sagittal sinus drain to the right transverse which then drains to the confluence of sinuses .my thought .

what about the retromandibular vein?
He just mention the continuation of retromandibular vein which is superficial temporal vein.
Amazing
Congrats 👏🏻❤️
