She didn’t respect him, thought herself better and smarter than him, thought she was entitled to what she was taking outside their marriage and she assumed that she was doing a great job at home because her husband wasn’t asking for anything more. She thought she was so smart that she would be able to notice when/if he found out or even became suspicious. He found out, he demonstrated red flags, not seeking intimacy, emotional distance, etc, and she never even noticed. Then she wants to act like her affair never hurt him or the marriage and that she was the perfect wife and gave him everything he could want.
