Absolutely, one of my favorite features as well. I can’t stand unorganized or hard to get to wires and pumps. I think you made a great choice as well. I felt like this one would fit my Inshore/offshore trips much better

My brother has been in the marine business for 40 years. He was a Yamaha guy too, but when I asked what to buy now he said merc. In the past one of the merc complaints was sensors alarming. He said to use any of the merc recommended fuel treatments and of course don't use cheap gas with ethanol in it if you can avoid it. Very nice boat. Looking forward to future videos.

The sea hunt was a great boat and I had many successful trips on it, only I was always finding myself wanting more room for my charters and offshore trips. I was also starting to build a lot of hours on the motor and wanted to sell before I got too many.

Hell of a boat Capt. 36 rod holders is insane. Lots of storage tons of room two power poles and 2 live wells .... well when you put in the work you get to treat yourself with nice things. Shes beautiful, I can hardly wait to schedule our next charter.

I would like an offshore boat, but do not like everything that comes with it. MPG, maintience, etc. The hybrids are just much easier to use. WIsh me luck on choosing. I am currently liking the Robalo 246.

We used to run a 2006 Blackjack 224 with two stroke Evinrude H.O. with four blade prop. No Tower... out the hole to 60+ was awesome !!!! How does it ride with the tower ?

Woohoo! Congrats, brother! Very nice new setup. Considering upgrading my rig as well. I've got a Sea Pro 248 with a Suzuki 350 that I really love. But, I need something with a little more range so I can get to deeper water. Boats have gotten so crazy expensive though!
@Capt.Collier 70 gallons, but with the 350, I'm averaging anywhere from 2.25-2.5 mgp when I'm headed offshore. I'm only comfortable going 40-45 miles out because I'd never want to run out of gas. I'm looking at a Sportsman 262. It's expensive and it drafts 20 inches or more, but I think I would have a range closer to 250-275 miles or so, 145 usable gallons on that boat. We'll see if it actually happens though...
Spray your pumps down with a corrosion inhibitor of some sort keep ‘em rinsed with fresh water and they will last a lot longer and won’t get all corroded as fast!

The 300 Merc is a beast. I have a 240 Dauntless with that same engine. It has tons of torque. You will love it.

you need to get crc 2-26 to keep the boat new.plastic safe spray. will keep rust and water out.
