The iPhone 12 pro Max is big to me sometimes I have to use both hands to type because it’s big lol but I honestly prefer big phones. It depends on your preference.
If you don’t like the AirPods Pro, I’d recommend you get the Powerbeats Pro Wireless. They have an adjustable sport hook and they stay in your ear longer. They have them in your phone color, which is black(graphite). Ive had mine since December of last year and I enjoy them. Plus, they have better bass.
If you want 5g and a square look to your phone you should definitely upgrade but honestly it wouldn’t be too big of an upgrade I would probably wait till the next phone comes out💕
That thing on the side of the phone makes it easier for 5G, 5G is not everywhere so like if you go to France people with that phone won’t have it but in big cities in the US 5G will be easier to reach

I upgraded from my iPhone 8 Plus to to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I got the Graphite color with 128 gigabytes added an additional 2 terabytes of storage.
That mark on the side is the 5G antenna because 5G signal can not go through metal.
To tell the truth, this is one of the best unboxing whenever i see
