Weartesters stated that the NXXT gen uses phylon not cushlon. The shoe doctor stated he thought it was cushlon but didn’t know.
Yeah the NXXT Gen is definitely phylon which is kinda a downside
@@SolelyMomo It depends on what type of cushion you are looking for. Given the fact that it has zoom in the forefoot and the heel, its totally fine
Heel zoom on a phylon should be ok....plain phylon is playable but the impact stays with you for days
I’m pretty sure it’s both phylon for caging the cushlon

I love the NXXTs, remind me a lot of my Kobe ADs, been playing a lot lately with the NXXT, huge fan, awesome traction, I did swap out the shoe laces for shoter ones tho

There is no comparison. The Nxxt Gen run small and are tight while the Lebron 20 fit perfectly. They both have insane traction but the Lebron 20 is better by far imo. The only leg up the Nxxt have is the extra eyelet for lock down
I found them both to fit fine TTS and I wear double socks.

Did you have issues with the NXXT gen tongue digging into the front on your ankle? I tie my shoes very tight and it rubbed and is very uncomfortable for me. I am probably going to return them even tho I think they are better than the Lebron 20s IMO. I do like the top loaded heel zoom unit in the NXXT gen compared to the Lebron 20 bottom loaded. I don't mind not having the carbon fiber mid plate as it can make my flat feet sore sometimes. As you said NXXT gen is the better performer for me as well but Lebron 20s fit very comfortable but don't have the best lockdown.
i have both i like playing in both actually.
have the nxxt gen EP and it is a bit more snug, but better fitting and better lockdown and support/ankle support
the 20 however has better ankle mobility though, but it feels like it's easier to sprain my ankle in it. and yea fit/lockdown is better in the NXXT but fit is great too in the 20. other than that, lebron 20 has more cushion too. nxxt gen has more court feel

@@adambuckets838 so the rule of thumb is if you want to wear an ankle brace go a half size up. Otherwise just go true to size and deal with the tight fit
I prefer the standard version although it's more expensive!
I got injured in the lebron 20’s Allstars for $220 in my tournament. I dislocated my knee 🥲🥲🥴. I returned them and I recommend the kyrie 8’s but the traction isn’t as good as the brons . Wanna try the nxxt gens so bad tho

I have pain in my time machines which i use as casual wear dont know why but i love the colour thats why im keeping them needless to say i returned 2 xx for hooping 🤣 My feet loves the NXXT amazing shoe top tier and for me feels definitely more bouncy than the lebron xx love the low to the ground which makes me feel super shifty i need to listen to my feet they know better lol

If you want a little more cushion then get the ultra, if you're fine with lighter cushioning get the regular.

Don't get the 808 2s Ultra. My outsole ripped in less than 20 wears indoors. The fit was also SUPER snug and tight it hurt my feet to wear. I will say traction and lockdown was top tier. Wouldn't recommend them.
