- Joel Embiid is the NBA's MVP for the 2022-23 season! To celebrate, I am chasing his rare rookie cards from $700 hobby boxes of 2014-15 Panini Prizm Basketball for our next sports trading card pack opening/unboxing! These boxes are almost 10 years old and feature Embiid's rookie card in various parallels. In honor of his recent achievement, I'm setting out to pull any rookie card of the 76ers' superstar (base, Silver, autograph, Gold, 1/1)! If I am unsuccessful in the challenge, I have to give away a big Embiid card from my collection for $1 (info below). We pulled some crazy stuff from these boxes! His name is actually Roy Devyn Marble....he went to University of Iowa and was a pretty good college player. 2nd round pick, got a taste of the NBA. Probably playing abroad still. He had/has some talent.
I really like this design compared to 22-23. Just a much cleaner look in my opinion.

Love this. I much prefer seeing breaks like this over the painful football and baseball. I know there isn't a lot to choose from lately with the lack of releases, but this is how it should be. 😊
Opens TONS of this stuff in 2014, Wiggins & Jabari hunting. One case had 2 golds. Hit a few other golds in boxes. No blacks. I did hit one Embiid auto in the case, and none of the other top picks autos.

2014-15 prizm basketball is definitely a set that I would open again. The parallels in this set are so cool
