No dismissive critique of a suspension system will ever be the same again. Gotta bump that MBE up to an OBE or CBE for services to politely assassinating the design choices of engineers ever since they made metal boxes move and shoot

My favorite “Fletcherism”, was when he said, “If you disagree, don’t send a message to tell us, no one cares..” I’m paraphrasing, but that was hilarious. Love his knowledge and joy in sharing what he knows. As a former tanker, I appreciate his joy.

The way David reacted when he was told "23 million views" was touching. You could see the penny drop on the enormity of what he has achieved, even if he still doesn't quite know how it happened.
With your wit and wisdom you've touched a lot of people David. You've created the next generation of enthusiasts, probably launched a few dozen military careers and perhaps sent someone off on the challenge to design the perfect tank which one day will take the field for the British Army.
I thank you. We all do.

I am 60 and have loved anything armor since I was a small boy! I have seen many people come and go from many venues, and can say that David is one of a kind!

I'll admit this one hurts a lot. David Fletcher's chats are an instant watch for me. I like the casual tone combined with common sense assessments that come from knowing the topic and the history. Such as a tank that has flaws but is reliable is generally much better than a superior one but isn't reliable. I absolutely love his observations on the varying subjects. Mr Fletcher also comes across with so much charisma. I wish you the best in the future and hope you still come to visit.
