Those women have the most beautiful voices. I melt ever time they sing.
and they are so charming that i hold my breath every time they sing a tune, i don't even blink seeing how they emote when singing..
Those ladies are the vocal power of the band Lucius. Look at any of their vids on TH-cam. You'll be blown away. (Especially powerful is them at the Newport Folk Festival, singing "Dusty Trails" with Brandi Carlile... who they're now-or soon to be- touring with.)

I think many of us have seen the other videos that were released by Roger during quarantine, but I just came across this one. What a beautiful, beautiful tribute by Roger and Lucius.

After seeing him in 2017 I went home and needed to find out who these ladies were. Their own music is wonderful !!

John Prine was a special soul.
Born in 65 I grew up on the music of Pink Floyd. Between then & now I fell in love with the music of John Prine. And these days I'm a huge fan of the music of Lucius. Great music is always happening. So long as my ears still work I will continue to take in as much as I'm able. This is pretty wonderful.

This song is a lot like Pink Floyd songs. They tell Johns story and Roger story. Very similar styles around the same time but just happens to be in different parts of the world. Only a few people can dig deep into the soul like John and Roger do. They sing about actual feelings and experiences. They could have been brothers.

People criticise the so-called ‘deterioration’ in Roger’s vocals but I think the fragility that has developed in his voice has added a new dimension to many of his songs. I just love them more every time I listen. Thank you roger🙏

What a great version and tribute to a great story teller..awesome..rip John Prine..The man who's music brightened many a campfire and kitchen with a guitar passed around friends and family.

I think i fall more in love with Lucius every time I listen to them. Love hearing them singing with Roger Waters. The three of them together sound like they have been doing this forever.
They are wonderful. If things ever get back to normal make it a point to see them live if you haven't already. They are superb musicians & fantastic performers. I've seen them 17 times & very much looking forward to seeing them again, hopefully, many more times over.
@@johnstinchcomb8156 I plan on seeing them live if we are ever able to go to concerts again. I have seen them once when they were touring with Roger Waters. They were pretty amazing on stage singing The Great Gig in the Sky.
