Nextbots started in gmod, with sanic, the first nextbot used the sanic image. Since the code to the nextbot was so simple, people just replaced the image and published it to the workshop, flooding the workshop with nextbots.
Ah yes, the good ol' days when sanic was an icon in GMOD, bro srsly nextbot runs STARTED with him. Ryan should definitely do a GMOD gameplay w/ friends

the quandale one is best with audio obv, but the others, imo, are FAR more terrifying when its just silent. Having something creepy looking descend upon you completely silently is a lot scarier than being able to actually hear it coming.
13:24 It’s not that you can’t enter the backrooms once you exit, it’s just that you can only enter the backrooms through only one specific elevator. The elevator you were trying to enter was not the right one.

Hey Ryan, here's a list of ROBLOX games I recommend you try:
*Vampire Hunters 3* - a round-based multiplayer game where there's a vampire among the humans and there is a hunter with a gun, game is pretty much a murder mystery but with lots of it's own interesting spice added to it, like Vampires having basically anime super powers, lots of interesting guns and items and perks humans can use in general.
*Frigid Dusk* - a ROBLOX horror game I had lots of fun playing my friend with. Considering how much you play horror games I'm sure you'll love this one.
*Super Bomb Survival* - a round-based physics-based multiplayer game where you are put into a "box" with your fellow players and you must survive the bombs. Very GREAT game with a simple premise, great soundtrack (yes, this ROBLOX game has it's own soundtrack and its a banger), and a finger-licking good selection of abilities and perks to get.
*Plates of Fate: Remastered* - yet ANOTHER round-based multiplayer game where everyone is put into a plate (not a kitchen one, basically a flat rectangle) and random things happen scaling from getting a piece of cake to getting hit by a meteor and a nuclear weapon, very silly fun game
*Survive The Night* - a ROBLOX multiplayer horror game where one person is selected to be the slasher and kill everyone before the night ends, and the survivors must, well, survive the night. This game has many horror game references a man of culture like yourself would recognize. ;)
Lots of multiplayer games on here huh? Well the main reason is because so far it seems like you've only really mostly played singleplayer games and it would be very fun for you to move on from this small part of ROBLOX you've gotten comfortable in and try out more of the ROBLOX platform!

Hey Ryan I would definitely recommend the game „Isle“ on Roblox. It got a huge update. The whole map got remodeled! It’s fun to play with friends too. But remember, no one made it out alive.

Fun Fact: Nextbots as a trend came from gMod. It was part of the Source Engine and they originally were meant to be used to develop parts of better AI (Hince the name next bot) for valve's games.
Through Garry's mod having access to quite a bit to the Source engine, someone thought it would be funny to use one of these bits of AI that are meant to hunt down the player no matter what (Originally part of testing path finding) and slapped a jpg on it. This was so funny to people that more developers started to do the same thing with different images.
Or that's how I remember it, this was literal years ago early 2010s. I could have a fact wrong. But it is weird seeing these things pop back up in popularity.
Oh yeah, in case anyone is wondering how you kill a jpg nextbot: anything that instantly deletes it. That's the only way.
If the nextbots kinda pissed and camps your safe zone long enough it will despawn

As multiplayer bots a combination of bits of code from different next bot scripts so it can act similar to a human.

Nextbots originate from GMod as a test for more player-custom AI to be added into the sandbox game, so they aren't necessarily LIMITED to "funny png that chases you", although the craze for such has mostly dwindled the meaning down to GMod Nextbots being the scary 2d monsters. Beginning with Sanic, workshop creators made a myriad of these AI that's practically uncountable now
GMod Meme Nextbots' AI takes an image, has it be the visual representation of the meme, gives it a loud theme when it's nearby, and has it analyze the map it's place into so it can easily pathfind to players and kill them, and player-played obstacles do nothing as they can plow through them.
Nico's Nextbots is a pretty faithful recreation of that GMod concept, down to the footsteps, map, and hud itself
I love Next Bots! Would love to see a Garry's Mod Video With Next bots :) love these videos. I love the horror it gives you on GMOD

Ryan, there are spaced out safe zones. If you know how to transition between them, it becomes simple. Sliding is also the best speed up. There are places in the survival zones which are great for surviving too

I hope they add more shortcuts for nextbots. I wish roblox would have better ai tracking so they would behave just like the gmod ones. Because these ones you can hide from and they can get stuck trying to go through some doors. They should increase the rate in which they speed up chasing you by a tad bit the games considerably easy still

Tips for ryan ( Run into doors to bust through so you can open doors faster which you just did , Bhop to move faster which you just did again , If you wanna bunny hop faster then jump and wait until you impact the ground and jump again and repeat the process , There are hidden vents around the map so try to find them I would recommend to open your flashlight before entering the vents and I think the controls are c - crouch shift to run obviously shift + c + hold w - slide that’s all I have thank you and I hope ryan reads this )
