It's great that your first convention as a content creator went so well. Other than past grief, you are so lucky, it all sounds amazing! Thanks for the update during your lunch break too!
@@BoardGamesinaMinute Hah! So that’s definitely my fault 🤦♂️ . I had played a RPG ish game Friday morning (Fog of Love) and the person giving the demo told us to put on name tags with fake names. I wrote Andy and only realized half way into the day that I still had it on. I’m assuming you just saw that and went with it. I didn’t know you were giving out pins so missed out on that!
It's great to hear you had positive connections to boardgame publishers. And although a shame the first interaction had to be negative, good to know the rest of the pax went well : ) Thank you for this video, not going to these conventions it's nice to get first hand feedback. Looking forward to the weekly Video!
Nice haul of review copies! It’s wonderful that the PAX experience was good overall and minimal negativity occurred. That Savanah Park box is huge! I’m looking forward to your review of Corrosion.
Yeah I was looking forward to this update. Widget Ridge, Widget Ridge, Widget Ridge... say that 10 times fast..lol City Builder looks fun will have to check that one out along with Rolling Heights and Isla Nublar. I'm glad you were able to get a copy of Corrosion. Played it this week at my game group and we had a really fun time with it. I Agree you don't need the metal chrome gears as the cardboard ones look just as amazing. But the tactile feel of a heavy chrome gear is somehow satisfying also. Love "How it Plays ( aka Ant Lab Games )" Anthony and Francis. like you... are really nice people who know what you went through. Thanks for sharing. 😁
Okay, I tried, and yeah, cannot say that 10 times lol Anthony and Frances are amazing, and yes, they also went through crap in this industry for no good reason as well!
Just a tip for your videos , I would suggest time stamping when you talk about certain things so people can skip through and find what they want to watch. Also when you show the games you got it be nicer to hold on the boxes and stuff maybe show the fronts and backs and stuff a lot of people who consume board games get certain games just for shelf presence and want to see what the box may look like in their collection just a thought.
Nice collection of games. I got to play Mountain Goats about 8 months ago as a friend received a copy from Kickstarter. Nice small-game which I have found is great for traveling with family. Glad to hear you suck at games you enjoy...lol. BGA has been a great venue for learning how bad I am at games and of course my partner (who plays about 1/4 or less what I play) beats me 9/10 of the time.
The Deadlies is pretty fun for what it is? Mountain Goats shines with its expansion. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on some of your new acquisitions. ❤️
What will happen to me now that I watched a video of the Dangerous Sarah Shah! ;) I expect my copy of Radlands with the cool mats to arrive soon, I can't wait! Hope you'll like it. Glass Road has a cool resource management wheel system, I really like it.

The Shipwreck Arcana is excellent! I just backed Paint the Roses Red because it looked like a visual spatial version of that game!
It was great to meet you! We met on Friday and I believe you said I was the first person to say hi.
Oh, hi!! Maybe I’m hard of hearing, because I thought you said your name was Andy 😹 You got a pin from me, too, right?? Nice meeting you, too!! 😊

Happy to hear you had a great time!
Thank you!
Mountain Goats only has 4 players in the main box, but there is an expansion that adds another player.
Are they purple?!?! If so, I am upset I did not get them lol
Sorry - they are green (my favorite color) but my wife agrees they should have had a purple option :)

Hi! This was a haul video, so I didn’t do timestamps. But in my weekly series I use timestamps!

I suck at most games I play lol but the important thing is that I'm still having fun :D
@@BoardGamesinaMinute Agreed!

Shipwreck Arcana is a great game! And the print and play version is available, if you're budget conscious.
I didn’t see you at PAXU! Wish I could’ve said Hi! Maybe next time. 😎✌️
Aw, next time for sure!!
What will happen to me now that I watched a video of the Dangerous Sarah Shah! ;)

Yeah, the wheel thing is cool! Interesting part of the game for sure! Let me know what you think of Radlands!
I saw the thumbnail and thought. ' oh no! That's a haul! And there's no space!' Time to find out if that's true. lol
Yeah, definitely do not have space for these lol it's a problem!!!
Sweetlandia attracts me and I have not decided to buy it, tell us what you think when you play it
Will do in my Weekly Play/Back video :D
I don’t understand why people think your a bad person!! What happened??
I discuss why in detail here! th-cam.com/video/PI0zBTPRQf8/w-d-xo.html
