    Just did a 128 kit, bbr exhaust on my 2013 ttr110 and went to fire it up and nothing...over and over... jetting I switched to biggest in my kit, so thought that would be a good starting point . Compression good, fuel yes.... Took a few head scratches and checking the spark (3 times) and then TIMING- forgot to do timing . DERRRR broh! just wanted to remind guys and gals out there like me who might have forgot to put timing chain back on correctly. Fires right up now. BRAAP BRAAAP !!

      @@realmmfc before you drilled out jets did you try raising the carbs needle? I am getting a bog at high rpms, which I believe means starving for fuel. It seems like a bug pain on this carb design but guy at my local shop said to try. Thanks again for the videos and responses.

      @conorprovan9435 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well after taking apart the carb about 50 times in 3 days trying different jet combos I found a thread on thumper talk that showed how to raise needle. Basically pull hard after separating the top of the carb cable housing (with the hidden screw under the rubber stopper) 🤦‍♂️ pull hard on the slide and watch for spring to fly out of white plastic piece. Then I added 1 mm washer. Still bog. Added another 1 mm still bog. Went thru every jet combo and landed back at STOCK jets 1.25/95 WTF?! Runs perfect now.

    I have a 2020 TTR 110 I’m doing the 128 cc bore kit with cam and rockers. What size main jet and pilot jet did you end up stopping at with your drill kit? Also did you do the CDI box from SX parts?

      Stock carb rejetted. No, 128 kit did not require the big head. I also only ran the 128 kit for about two months because it became a burden to stay in tune. Was not running rev box and actually got the bike sold today!

    Is there a big power difference in the 128 kit ?

    • @realmmfc
      @realmmfc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not as noticeable as a 143, but it has a little better bottom and much better top end. Gained about 6 mph higher top speed because it can essentially rev higher! For only $140 and keeping stock bore, not terrible!

  • @ruffliferanch3179
    @ruffliferanch3179 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Several questions,
    Why the 128cc over the 143cc kit? What jetting did you end up on? Would you get the head and cam kit? Sorry building an 08 ttr110 myself

    • @realmmfc
      @realmmfc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      128cc came with replacement head, larger piston and cam. After blowing up two 110’s as a kid, this is perfect amount of power for the stock bike. Allows easy mod without all the headaches. Jetting was a pain and a lot of testing, but ended up custom jetting with jet drill. Sorry I don’t have specs on it’s, but I literally just used a micro jet drill kit off of amazon and used stock jets. Gauge initial jet size with the largest bit that won’t go all the way through. Went up a size on main each time until mixture was perfect. I think only 3 bits larger on main and I think only one size larger on pilot.

I don't really want to buy the BBR shock spring because it's similar in price to the DNM shock, and I don't think it will raise the rear of the bike any. Any input you have would be great. Thanks. No worries man! They have really helped a lot of people and super happy about that. I don’t recall the exact washer size, I just took the shock bolt with me to my local hardware store to make sure inside diameter was right. They were only like $.16 per washer so I grabbed more than I needed. Ended up being 3 on each side top and bottom. Has held up absolutely perfect. I would definitely go the DNM route if you’re looking for height. Honestly been really satisfied with the shock in general.
