- Hello and welcome back to theHunter: Call of the Wild! In today's video we attempt the hardest challenge so far, hunting every single deer species in the game. This was a complete nightmare, but thankfully you guys were able to keep me sane during the livestream. Some deer species practically showed up asking to be hunted, but others not so much... (I'm looking at you blacktail and roe deer) We went to pretty much every map in the game, even the newest map Emerald Coast (which has like 4-5 deer species). You may be asking yourself "Rooster, why did you only mention Emerald Coast?". And that's a great question. You see the more I mention Emerald Coast, and in particular, hunting on Emerald Coast, the more likely this video will get pushed to new viewers. This video was a pain in the butt to record, and very difficult for the editor (3.5 hours of footage), so I'm doing everything I can to get this thing boosted. So if you've read this far, wow, you're pretty cool. So now you get to say that Rooster thinks you're cool. That alone is pretty cool. Also just between you and me, if you could like the video, and maybe share it with a friend or write a comment about how cool you are, that'd really help the video out. And that'd make you EXTRA cool.

And I got my first albino it was a cape buffalo
Ima try it looks fun
You could hunt all aggressive species, but only allowed to shoot them once they turn aggressive/attack

I just saw a meli magpie goose
My first magpie was a piebald and i was just shooting into the flock and it was the only one I hit in a flock of like 10
I have a diamond magpie that scores exactly diamond and a leu in the same flock

Here’s a tip: if you want lots of Piebald animals hunt Mallards at Layton Lake nealy every duck is piebald

Yeah blacktail are a nightmare sometimes
tip... Don't run and jump around like this guy also the bush camo perk makes the game ez. You hear a warning call then crouch and slowly move into a bush that will change your visual marker to a line or better. Then jus use your call and wait... Good and diamonds will walk right up to you within 20-30 yds. That's how I bow hunt but it works with everything

The argus isnt bad if your just hunting to hunt but if your grinding i would 100% recommend the hyperion scope its easier to shoot a bunch than with the argus

Glad to see that my Layton Lakes map isn’t glitched and that the map actually does just kind of suck 😂 a whole lot of nothing then occasionally I’ll spot a group of female deer. Messed up 2 diamond Whitetails on my first day playing and barely saw anything else until I switched maps. I got my diamond whitetail on Revontuli though.
Walking the "rivers" I see dozens upon dozens of deer... Are you looking at the right time
Most zones need to be activated, it helps to run a water at drinktime end, 2 to 3 times

the latyon lakes was a good map i had a albino female moose and now on that thap its like dead u cant find anything at all and i even check my good spots i know a lot of them are ganna be at and nothing at all so i hunt on the garmon map whitch i go to 2 diffrent spots and if need any tips on the 2 i will let u know

To help your shooting it would be better if you had the hub on so you can see where you’re zeroed to
I don't have zeroing turned on anyways. For some reason you can have zeroing on even without the HUD on, which makes it impossible to know where you're zeroed at.
@@Rooster_Gaming I used to not have zeroing on either because it was too complicated but I started using it again and I really like it. But you’re right because even with the hud on I’m zeroed for the wrong distance sometimes and I get mad at myself 😂

you should of said cervids, that's the actual term that encapsulates all those Deer Ungulates, since moose aren't deer. elk aren't deer, they're entirely different cousins, but great video! just my inner biologist
Cervids are deer, deer are cervids. The two terms mean the same thing, it's just that one (Cervidae) is the scientific name for the family, while the other is the common name for the family. Moose are cervids and therefore are deer.

depends on who says it, and where you live I guess. Scientifically, they are all deer. but to most with no biological background they won't commonly refer to them as deer
