6:11 Hold on, that's almost an idea if all the men really slept with the 3/4 Horsewomen of the Apocalypse.
I can't believe I wrote that sentence. There's still no consequences because the only one that would matter would be Death.
"I slept with War and we had the mother of all battles. How about you?" "Famine.... I was hungry again in an hour."

"This is Owen, who looks like Michael Palin grew a mullet and joined a gym." Replace Palin's name with the name of any D&D nerd you know and you have a description of their heroic campaign character.
Of course, when it comes to "bit players in B-movies" going onto greater things behind the camera, there is Clint Eastwood. From bit parts in "Revenge Of The Creature" and "Tarantula" to award winning producer and director of "Unforgiven" (1992) and "Million Dollar Baby" (2004) to name a few. Of course, he did keep doing the acting gig as well, but never won an acting award yet.

The third movie ''The Creature Walks Among Us''(1958) is my favorite as the best of the 3,
for its depth of meaning on human nature.
And yes, ''Tarantula'' is very good too, better than ''Them'' & ''The Black Scorpion'' combined,
always because of the human side.
I remember ''Them'' uniquely for the hilarious ''sugar warehouses'' bit,
which shows that ants will always be ants.
      & I must say too that I didn't see it coming !

Thanks for the tip on Tales from the Lodge. I didn't find it on Amazon right away. Stupidly, I worked counter to Amazon's engine and typed the exact title of the film in the search. The top result was what appears to be a bad horror from 2020 called Don't Speak which has no apparent relationship to Tales. The second result was a Pierce Brosnan rom-com, ffs. Apparently searching by title is the wrong way to go about it in Amazon.
Scrolling down 8 titles (immediately after Serengeti II, Season I for some reason) I found Tales from the Lodge. Based on your recommendation, I will be purchasing the film for Christmas. Based on Amazon's excellent search capabilities, I will be purchasing it somewhere, anywhere else.

A bit player who has had a curious career? The cover Linda for Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead movie was this model named Bridget Hoffman who went on to have a bit role as a nun who took a vow of silence... next to future Oscar winner Frances McDormand no less... in Raimi's next movie Crimewave.... and then she had a voice over role the movie Darkman. And from that voiceover role, the former model went on to do voiceover work, scriptwriting, ADR directing and eventually running her own casting studio where she filled ADR roles for animated movies. Apart from Sam Raimi himself, she got the most out of the Evil Dead and she wasn't even in the movie. Her career was so odd that Raimi cast her in the first episode of Ash vs the Evil Dead just he could finally name drop her in the commentary track.

To answer Robin's question at the end of the video albeit in a round about way, Bob Guiccione continued publishing Penthouse and got out of the movie business (Caligula). BTW, that's a good one to review.

I worked on 3rd edition of DUNGEON &DRAGONS ( you can find my name in the back of the Player's Guide) and I could never, never, never come up with a dungeon this bad.
If you're going to steal from D&D at least get it right.

Sewers did exist in the ancient world and were necessary in the large cities of the Roman Empire. Britain having been part of the Empire for four hundred years, there is no reason why people living in Dark Age Britain would not know what a sewer was.
