When he was in high school he played against my high school team (Grants Pass Cavemen) and Broke his femur. I never got to play him, but I played against his brother when he was a senior and I was starting my second varsity game ever as a sophomore first year lineman.... he gave me a concussion. Besides that, they’re awesome great guys and J Herb on the night he was drafted he responded to me commenting on his post about playing his brother. I’ll always root for him

This injury question has to figure heavily into the Packers thinking on the Rodgers contract. He only played one quarter in 2006, and broke his foot. He played only a half in 2007 and got injured, he was healthy in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2019, 2020, but he was concussed twice in 2010, broke his collarbone in 2013, and 2017 missing many games , and he played well below his standard while playing on a broken leg in 2018. Not to mention two calf injuries , one that probably cost him a super bowl in 2014. So the odds are, that at his advanced age, his history indicates he will be injured and miss some games over the remaining years of his contract.
Why didn't you do this the last 10 years ago and see how many QB Aaron has outlast them. Look who just won a SB, a forty year old QB. Thanks for playing, Colin.

Colin, I hate to call you out on misinformation, but as a Southern Oregon resident and someone who’s played Justin’s brother, I know an interesting amount of facts about the good ol’ J Herb and he has indeed had an injury. When he was in high school he played against my high school team (Grants Pass Cavemen) and Broke his femur. I never got to play him, but I played against his brother when he was a senior and I was starting my second varsity game ever as a sophomore first year lineman.... he gave me a concussion. Besides that, they’re awesome great guys and J Herb on the night he was drafted he responded to me commenting on his post about playing his brother. I’ll always root for him

Herbert didn't beat out Tyrod Taylor, he started in large part because Taylor had a punctured lung due to a doctor's mistake. Would Herbert have beat him out by the end of the year, possibly but we wouldn't know. But I would imagine if you put Herbert in the exact same position as Rodgers was when he came into the league he wouldn't beat out Brett Farve so he would sit for 3 years too.

This is a silly take. How would a retired 47 year old Rodgers look like against a 34 year old Lamar or a 32 year old Justin Fields?
This injury question has to figure heavily into the Packers thinking on the Rodgers contract. He only played one quarter in 2006, and broke his foot. He played only a half in 2007 and got injured, he was healthy in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2019, 2020, but he was concussed twice in 2010, broke his collarbone in 2013, and 2017 missing many games , and he played well below his standard while playing on a broken leg in 2018. Not to mention two calf injuries , one that probably cost him a super bowl in 2014. So the odds are, that at his advanced age, his history indicates he will be injured and miss some games over the remaining years of his contract.
