    Most boxing trainers believe that punchers are born not made. I believe that. Foreman, Shavers, Marciano, etc did not develop their power, they always had it from day one. I never heard that you can only increase your punching power by 10% but now that I think about it, I believe it. Good video.

    Thanks again coach for yet another gem of a video! I am 55 years young and one thing I have noticed in my punching power and how it has improved is Technique and with that, less pain and stress on joints, ligaments and muscles. I just started boxing training in September of last year and already sustained a distal biceps tendon rupture that did require surgery to repair. I've been released by my surgeon since February of this year and finally back to hitting the heavy bag, speed bag and double end bag. With all this said. A WORD TO THE WISE AND ALL THOSE JUST GETTING IN TO BOXING.......LISTEN TO COACH V, ABSORB WHAT HE'S TEACHING....I am convinced that if I had discovered Coach V when I first got in to this Great Sport, I know I would never have gotten injured and had to sit out 6 months recovering from an injury that could have easily been prevented with PROPER INSTRUCTION! Thanks Coach, for all that you do and share with all of us out here that have fallen in love with this Awesome sport.

    Hey good video. Most people always overlook genetics thinking it's all their hardwork as to why they have KO power.

    • @coachv3436
      @coachv3436  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Vision tests are necessary just like getting a driver's license some corrective surgeries can disqualify you from the sport professionally so I would speak to your optometrist and your local boxing commission to see what their requirements are

      Get on a solid strength training program. Full body twice a week works well to fit in plenty of Boxing. Endurance is trained with cardio, strength is trained with weights and therefore 5-12 reps is best
