Asu is a good band, I also watched them battle bcu from da meac n I was impressed until they ran out of songs, this year su trumpets have regained there power back which helps there balance n gives them much betta clarity, so Asu keep yo power n work on clarity, cuz wen yall got 3 or 4 rows of trumpets n dey not being heard...dats a shame keep two rows n switch ur weaker trumpets to f horn ull get a much betta sound until den yall got mo holders Dan blowers

ASU had better song choices by far. SU has the edge on sound. Who ever arranges SU music is the true beast! If ASU had a better song arranger they would have had the edge in this competition. But ASU had me intrigued all year.

The Southern University Human Jukebox is the only band that's technically sound, fun and exciting, powerful and will kick your ass all while looking good doing it...I think a lot of people hate them because they cause they are so sound and they have aspirations to be like that but just can't.. That alone is enough to turn you into a hater...
it would be rodondent to say SU sounds good.....but ALABAMA STATE sounds really good......i heard dynamics, range and key changes during the songs. and nobody CRANKIN IT UP UNTIL.....su 25:44. good job both bands

Because SWAC bands focus on brass, their piccolos sound badddddddddddddd. They should definitely tune them before they get any type of solo in songs. Anyway, I love ASU, but SU took it all the way.
If it seems like no one wants to record your band...sound and/or do better. Even the most die hard fan will record the opposition IF they're kick'n enough ass
Man I hate judging 5th Quarters in SU stadium. ASU was bringing it, however because of the way the bands are set up in the stands its kind of hard to tell whether or not SU was bringing the same kind of stank, even though conventional wisdom says they were--they probably were bringing more heat. On top of that it doesn't help that SU always faces forward instead of the opponent. But ASU was bringing some serious heat. Gotta give it to ASU based on this video.
