This is really sad story but shows that you can enter samadhi for many years and come back basically unchanged. His practice seemingly just calmed him down but he didn´t became free of his ego-centeredness. On top of it, if a person without strong compassion develop siddhis- he/she can easily become demon. We live at the end of the dark era so these things will continue to happen but there is no need to loose confidence in dharma. There are true teachers here , in our world and in higher realms and they do support us and love us very much.

I just finished a 40 minutes documentary video. I can't believe myself. I am Buddhist🙏. In my religion showing supernatural and magical things are totally prohibited. Buddha said " Come, see and explore Buddhism not because i am telling you but if you want to know the truth. I am sorry to question you, but why conversion rate is so high within Buddhist groups including Tamanag, and so on....Does this protect our culture of Nepal, when all Nepali pride in our own culture..... Was there any other particular reason for the conversion, is this due to money or something different...Like to know more as I am aware of history.... thanks
That child is blessed to have a parent like Mr. subba. I completed my schooling from one of the most reputed school in pokhara, and I was never good at studies and the way I was treated by some of the teachers that taught me brings tears in my eyes but more anger. When you point of a child as weak or neglect them, they'll get even worse.
One thing that stuck in my head: the discovery Channel took the boy's video in time-lapse by setting up the camera there for 80 plus hours. And the boy seemed meditating continually. How was that possible?
I know I've tried to meditate a long time before and it was impossible for me to do. If you ever try to meditate for more than an hour or so, I bet you find the very same thing I did. How many of you would try it?

Great video. I found out about the "little buddha" a few days ago and really wondered what happened to him. There's not a lot of information if you only speak english. I'm glad you managed to put this together with english subtitles. I wonder what the intentions of Bomjan was when he left to meditate that first time at 15. I feel doubtful a 15 year old had plans to create a cult and a religion. I'm also confused with the fact that regardless if he ate during the night or not, meditating for 6 years for 12-16 hours a day surely will have a positive impact on you. I wonder how it came to the point where all these bad things would occur.
Have you ever heard about christian missionary, all the criminal charges are done by christain missionary and there is a reason as well because the growth of little buddha was hinderance for them because many people convert into buddhism and that means their mission would be completely ruined. Now back to present context the growth of christanity is trippled after people see little buddha as criminal.

Great video. I found out about the "little buddha" a few days ago and really wondered what happened to him. There's not a lot of information if you only speak english. I'm glad you managed to put this together with english subtitles. I wonder what the intentions of Bomjan was when he left to meditate that first time at 15. I feel doubtful a 15 year old had plans to create a cult and a religion. I'm also confused with the fact that regardless if he ate during the night or not, meditating for 6 years for 12-16 hours a day surely will have a positive impact on you. I wonder how it came to the point where all these bad things would occur.
Have you ever heard about christian missionary, all the criminal charges are done by christain missionary and there is a reason as well because the growth of little buddha was hinderance for them because many people convert into buddhism and that means their mission would be completely ruined.
