Basically if they do do the Boruto movie I'll watch it, but other than that I'm quitting and probably also leaving the discord, maybe. Or I'll leave it on mute and just check periodically in a few years when Boruto Kai comes out. Honestly, I only came to their channel to see the reaction to Naruto and then hopefully Boruto since no one does Boruto and the only fix I get are random compilations of peoples reactions to events in the anime.
If you are going to watch Boruto the movie, you might as well watch the episodes corresponding to the movie, because they are more accurate to the manga and overall superior.
They set up too much for the anime and bring in plot threads that the movie doesn't, the movie is, if they have no intention of doing Boruto the series, the best way for them to end the experience as Kishimoto wrote it as a finale. It was only because he was pressured into continuing the series that everything else came about, if they didn't force him he would've completely retired.

Kishimoto wrote this Boruto movie as Epilogue to end Naruto Franchise but this movie became highest grossing from the franchise so Kishimoto gave writing job to Kodachi because he wanted to move on with his new series "Samurai Something" which wasn't successful as he hoped for so after certain chapters Kishimoto returned to write Boruto. Currently he's writing it with his freewill.
God dude. Naruto asking Iruka to attend the wedding as his father never fails to hit me. I remember when i first saw that episode. The moment Naruto said those words i immediately started sobbing, no build up or warning, the emotion just came. That really was the culmination of the journey i started when i began watching Naruto in 7th grade a little over 10 years before. It still makes me emotional.
Not many reactors know that the letter sent to Sakura was a congrats to her birthday. Sasuke didn’t have time to come to his best friend’s wedding but he did have time to write that for her.
I think the show is a better experience than the movie. Even if you have to do it patreon only/not uploading on youtube. One of my favorite react channels only watches certain shows on patreon for the same reason.

i think Sasuke not showing up to the wedding is a punishment that no matter what he does for Naruto or to help the village, hell never be able to say he was there for him on an important day, when Naruto went to far to there for him, so Sasuke will always carry that burden.

Im just going to chime in here about the Boruto movie debacle (do what you need to i love the reactions no matter what). But, the main thing as the differences between movie and anime is the events that occur before, during, and after, which will throw you for a confusing loop jumping from movie to anime. I've noticed that not a lot of people mention that in the comments. There's additional forshadowing in the show following the manga events as well as something that happens in the very first episode from the manga as well. That's all i have to say about that. Either way i enjoy your thoughts and reactions no matter what 😅
Without a doubt Boruto doesn't suck and in my opinion if you have no intentions of continuing Boruto after the movie you are good to just watch the movie but if you wanted to continue watching Boruto definitely go with the show as it helps build his character up before the movie and helps you understand him as a character more (also that arc his more true to the manga in the show than in the movie if that matters to you guys)but Honestly it is up to you guys.👍
The people who complain about Boruto only complain because Naruto isn’t the lead anymore. That’s proper storytelling, unlike Dargon Ball, which I love Dragon ball and the Dragon Ball manga. But when they choose to not let Gohan take over the bottle caped the series and took always all progression because there are no stakes because Goku can solve everything. Where in Boruto they have progressed the story and created greater stakes. Also Boruto has evolved on the characters making them even more compelling characters. What’s the point in continuing a story if your characters never progress and the story remains stagnant. If you think Boruto sucks, read the manga, because Boruto next generation and Two Blue Vortex is among the top mangas out now.
DBZ tried to make Gohan MC multiple times troughout T, even killing Goku off twice just to keep him from the plot. The difference is Boruto doesnt suck. He isnt constantly fumbling and he doesnt need motivation to fight, he had some insecurities early on but he worked trough them. Adult Gohan still has same problems and flaws kid Gohan had, he still slacks off instead of training even though he learned that he should keep up with it in three separate arcs and at least two more other encounters..... He isa lousy slob who gets saved by asspulls. Boruto trains. Boruto ASKS, no, he BEGS Sasuke to rain him instead of being forced to train, he has friends his own age because he is confident enough to make his own friends, he is pro active and he has mental fortitude to carry the plot instead of breaking down every single time. By Watchign Boruto you can literally see everything that went wrong with Gohan. And still you will have Gohan stans and Boruto haters in spite of Boruto being a better written character overall.

There are 2 points, the show re-did the movie, but the animation is so much better. But also the show is accurate to the manga and canon, while the movie is more like a concept or rough draft. If you watch the movie and then continue the show you won't understand because the movie is a different canon, the way the show did it is consistent with the plot that becomes very important as you continue Boruto. Sure the debate about weather you watch Boruto or not is a thing, but even Borate fans admit the show did it better than the movie. But honestly I would say if you don't plan to watch all of Boruto it's best just to leave it here, but if you do just watch the show, but canon episodes only

It doesn't suck, just a portion of it. That's the issue with too many fillers, or certain filler arcs that was dragged for too long. When it's good it's peak.
Next try out one piece, bleach if u like naruto definitely check out op and bleach. And yeah op has more than 1000 plus episode and bleach has 400 plus ep but still worth it though. One piece is in its last arc and bleach also in its last arc.

Please if you do the borrow two movie when you get to the big boss fight at the end please stop and switch over to Bartow episode 65 titled father and son. They redid the big boss fight from the movie basically the movie was made Canon except they redid the animation the big boss looks totally different in the Canon TV series versus the movie and the fight is a million times better on the Canon episode 65 versus what they did in the movie. Even the creators of the show decided that they could do better than they did in the movie they pulled some strings called in favors and redid the fight completely and it is so much better
I just want to say you could at least watch the battle between Momoshiki and Naruto-Sasuke, the show as a whole isn't worth it, but couple of moments can be observed for a research.
