2014 - 56th Annual Windsor/Detroit Ford Fireworks

In the spirit of full disclosure, about 50 seconds of the display were lost due to strategic cuts (nature of the camera I'm using which I will hopefully rectify next year) and the need to change what was a fully charged battery, that I had saved for right before the display. I apologize for the crossfades and slight focus loss about 2/3 of the way through.
This is the 2014 Ford Fireworks held over the Detroit River, between Detroit, Michigan, USA and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. This is one of the largest displays in North America, and is held each June, during the International Freedom Festival.
I decided to try a different angle from last year, with hopes of being able to use a better lens and have mixed feelings about the results, I will probably go back to the old spot next year, though once I decided on the framing, I did like what I was getting.

It makes me extremely happy to know that there are people that appreciate seeing them. This is the reason I do this, because when I didn't live in Windsor I really missed seeing them as well.

great idea to change angle of the shoot as we enjoy the full effect of the show - are you interested in filming some private gigs in Windsor?

I wouldn't mind the opportunity to shoot some private gigs. I'm not a professional videographer by any stretch and lean more toward photography but I would be interested in the opportunity.
