  • This video is for Christians who feel lost in this world. Especially for those who try to pray and practice their faith but feel alienated from God. Their sense of alienation makes them feel that God has rejected them and they have sinned in a way that can never be reconciled. The video explores the theme of Exile in the Bible and argues that Exile does not prove that we are rejected by God rather, on the contrary, it proves that we are chosen by God. We are in fact His Elect, His Chosen Ones.

Thanks for the comment. I think that the theology of 'flesh' in the New Testament is quite weighty and beyond me to be honest. But I thing that 'Ego' is a very good entry point into it. Cheers.

Thanks a lot for the video, I've found it extremely relevant to my current situation. For context, about four months ago I left my job of around two and a half years at a resort in a small town. I had room and board provided for me, I had many friends there, and I even had clout from working in the kitchen. Though I was happy I still had a bit of ambition that kept me from being entirely content there. Ultimately, this ambition drove me to leave the resort. Now that I'm in a new city, I feel like I am in a self-imposed exile. What friends I do have in the area are typically busy, I lack a consistent routine, and I struggle to see any purpose in what I do day to day. I appreciate that you got this video out since it gives me hope that I'll come out of this phase better. God bless.

I appreciate your comment very much. Most people underestimate the stress involved in moving to a new home/location. For those of us following the spiritual path it does impact our sense of Exile more forcibly. Whenever I made a move like you did I have to watch out for nasty afterthoughts that try to undermine my self-esteem. We move to pursue a particular goal and we need to keep our sight fixed on that goal. I pray that your current experience of Exile will help you deep your prayer and closer union with the Lord. Take care. God bless.
