When my generation were growing up since 1949, Arthur, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, Wilson Picket, James Brown, Ray Charles, and other artists, were our Preachers and the stories were about how to treat our women, with tenderness of heart and love and respect, and this is why these songs always bring tears to my eyes, and thank Got that I grew up when I did, so to all of those sweet souls thank you, for the love!
does arthur conley have any family members that can put a tombstone on his grave ?it would be the right thing to do for such a great artist, just thik ,him and the great otis redding singing in soul heaven.
Perhaps Arthurs own choice? Jos was his partner untill the very end. If worried about it then contact him. This way is not very decently, l find. If this was Arthur's own choice than it's painful to Jos and more family..
Appreciate that the authorship of late Danny Whitten has been explicitly acknowledged. Link to Danny's original rendition: th-cam.com/video/KsV3X0wNiUQ/w-d-xo.html

It was his wish to have a small grave with weeds growing all over. He did not want a big stone.
