Not sure on your interests so here’s a selection: 1. Billy Frank Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge for some short hikes out over the Nisqually estuary- it’s right at the I-5 exit - I think 114. 2. Centralia has a historic downtown and the McMennamins Olympic Club might be a good meal stop. 3. Well off the I-5, actually a serious detour, is Mt St Helens. Not sure if the observatory is still open this late in the season however.
