Thanks Dave. I've always wanted to experiment with line art but did not really know how. Now I do! Great video.

Too cool Dave!!! I love this one. I can't wait to experiment. I'll definitely re-watch it & take notes - maybe even make a preset?? As usual, thanks so much!

I tried this with some photos of duscks flying through the air, works great. As long as you have some background thats not to detailed.

Thanks Dave. I really like these sessions where you do a deep dive into one of the TK9 features. The line art button looks like it could be a lot of fun.

I have been wishing for a TK edge mask tutorial. My lucky day, this tutorial is what I wanted. Thanks Dave!

Great video Dave, and thank you! I especially love the videos you create that expand the use of the TK9 panels into other realms of photography other than landscapes.

Very interesting Dave , did you get a chance to look at my issue with the edge masks not working in TK9 after following your video on Halo's using TK8 ?

Sorry, not yet. Thanks for reminding me. I've been a bit busy.

I just went through the steps of the video and it worked for me as expected. Can you please explain your issue one more time? I am trying to figure out what is going wrong for you. I think it had something to do with inverting the Edge Mask.

@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Thanks Dave watching the video using TK8 you open the edge mask make the adjustment , then exit out of that to create a luminosity mask then intersect the two using the mask calculator. Obviously on TK9 the mask calculator is different so I opened the edge mask , made the radius adjustment and then assumed I would click x to exit out of that mask , then open a luminosity mask and intersect the two using the mask calculator . The problem is having created my edge mask as soon I hit X to get out of it to open a luminosity mask the edge mask disappears altogether from the layer stack ?

I think I watched the wrong edge mask video. I have another one that I will watch, which I think is the correct one. I think I know what is happening. I will get back to you.

Don't know if anyone else has commented, but you later vids have buzz in the audio that modulates with the voice. This has it on my system, whereas a vid from Jan Wegener I just watch does not. Maybe it youtube, but it's not consistent between authors. I am listening on quality loudspeakers, not a phone or tablet. Just FYI.
