jr gamer yes true, but modern vessels have large amount of electronic counter measures that will throw cruise missile off target easily plus Close range counter weapons system to knock out incoming missile.
Unless the opponent air burst a nuke which will result in a nuclear exchange otherwise, modern naval warfare will still stay pretty much conventional

Carrier’s are built with tons of AA emplacements if you saw when he was dueling with that carrier in the end it was just ripping through his planes if he went for the carrier he would lose a flight of planes everytime he would send them with probably little damage to the enemy carrier. When he was fighting the enemy carrier his carrier was right there so it made things easier as he could just deploy wave after wave instantly without having to travel too far

When I played a carrier a guy wrote in chat " The carrier sink more than the rest combined, that player is the only one that know how to play" i think my team sunk 6 ships and i five of them. When I play carrier i try to use textbok attacks.
World of Warships ft. World of Warplanes. This is a good view and the aircrafts are really good cuz you can control it. I want to play WOWS someday. 18:52 that view of two Aircraft Carrier battle is sick!!
It's better to be able to control squads (more than 1 at a time) like in blitz. It allows you to attack like in real life, after all isn't WOWS supposed to be historically accurate?
I dont play this game,but watching from 4:45 to 6:30 makes it so damn epic where the song syncted with the aircrafts assembely,then again when observing their team fight and again the intense song play once they marching towards the target with aa guns trying to stop them,super fascinating

I honestly prefer the old CV mechanic since it's unique on it's own. And the micro you have to do with your planes is nice. Dropping two volleys of torps on different angles to hit a BB is satisfying.
Why don't you play world of warships blitz? It has that cv style, after all

@@floseatyard8063 difference between the Blitz version and the other one? I've never actually bothered searching. I've only seen it on mobile so i just figured it's the mobile version.
@@Furanku13 well it has similar mechanics but it's VERY different. Shops, events and reward tress for events etc are all in different places, ship slots don't stack ontop of eachother and go horizontally, they have even odd tier aircraft carriers (for example on Japan it has hosho, *zuiho* ryujo *hiryu* shokaku *taiho* and hakuryu instead of just tier 4 6 8 10. Grinding takes longer and there is still top view combat, fighters aren't consumables, german aircraft carriers tier 4 6 8 are all early access right now and only eric lowemhardt or however its spelt (t6) and graf zeppelin (t7) aren't early access but are also premium. There's a huge list of things, it's also less detailed but more "friendly" as you don't constantly worry about ricochets. It is more unrealistic and so are the graphics but it's very fun in all honesty. Edit: I meant top view combat for CVs. Oh by the way the tier 6 cv on us is independence and the ranger is tier 7.

I never played before the old version but from what I've seen I like the old version more
If you mean old old with alt you are right it was god but then if you played with JPN carrier which has two groups of planes you were able to take every BB with cross fire so you were able to hit with 5 torpedoes or you used fires or flood to increase damage. But it was to OP so they took out alt option and every tactic now was neeefed strongly. And you must remember that when you got 1vs 1 us vs JPN US fighters always were victorious so you had to try hard to don't lose all planes as JPM when as US you had free fun
The old version was boring as fuck. Once all your plane has gone you could do nothing but cap and ram. I like this new version.

Seems a bit Overpowered, it's a bit ridiculous that you have virtually unlimited planes, not very realistic. Interesting you got that many kills with a bad strategy of just throwing low flying planes at the enemy ships.
7kills? I use a Japan destroyer to make 6kills only use torpedoes
When the plane models in World of Warships are 10x better than the plane models in World Of Warplanes.

I was playing the Hōsho a couple days ago and got put into a match with a really toxic player. He was complaining that I (our CV) was trash because I wasn’t going for the enemy CV.
I was the last person remaining on my team and dealt over 90k damage.
With a hosho then that means you were carrying the team
Good job, that player should just quit the game after that lmao
just because u survive the longes that don't necessarily mean that you did well. especially if you are a battleship or cruiser who is supposed to tank some or at least take some of their attention

You cannot say that Enterprise is OP, she earned 20 battle stars, one single pilot aboard her hit 2 of 4 of the Japanese aircraft carriers in the Battle of Midway, she was forced to fight Japan alone for such a long time due to the sinking of her sisters Yorktown (CV-5) and Hornet (CV-8) and the USS Lexington, forcing her to hold the line by herself because she would be the only American carrier in the Pacific for the time being. If anything, WarGaming got her historically accurate
