Janelle’s boys were calling asking if the could see their siblings, Ysabelle and Truely too. It was not Janelle and Christine and their kids not mixing with Robyns.

You are so sweet. I found Janelle not knowing what to do to be pretty standard for her. Janelle is not an overly emotional person. I think the only time I've seen her really get angry was when she said,"I don't have a house." to Kody and I thought her support of Christine is so sweet!
I think Janelle was really trying to jump in to support Christine in the best way that she can. It is hard for her, but she felt strongly enough about it to say she has been aware of problems in Christine and Kody's marriage for quite awhile when Robyn was trying to make it sound like Christine was leaving without having tried to work it out. That is something. She also made it quite clear in her interview that she thought Kody and Robyn were "gaslighting" Christine, which they are. And she stayed after the talk and hugged Christine, showing her support for her friend...all of which she has to know are going to get her on Kody and Robyn and Meri's bad sides. Still she did what she thought was right. I admire Janelle. I think she is a genuinely good person.

My favorite part is when Robin was trying to say that Janele and Kody had a great relationship in Vegas and Janele just rolled her eyes! haha it was the best. I feel like these episodes this season DRAGGGG.....
If Kody wanted to be a part of Truly's life, he would make the effort to visit her and make room for Truly in his and Robyn's house. It's more important to punish Christine, than to nurture his relationship with Truly.
I agree, I definitely think it would be good for him to take truly out alone so he can support just her. She doesn’t need to be around Robyn and her family imo at this point. He’s a “D” to act like he needs to be around Christine in order to be w Truly which I’m sure isn’t true.
Season 1 Episode 1 Christine says in the couch with all of them there to listen that Kody was spending too much time courting Robyn and it was hurting the family and kids… Robyn has gotten special treatment from the very beginning
That’s 100% the difference in how he’s treating Meri and Christine. HE got to choose to leave Meri. He didn’t get to choose to leave Christine, even though he emotionally and physically left the relationship a long time ago. Christine chose to officially end their relationship and THAT’S what pisses him off. He says Meri could marry someone else and he wouldn’t care, but the idea of Christine with a “greedy boyfriend,” as he says, has him raging. It’s all about power and control with Kody.
It really angered me when Robin tried to make Christine out to be a liar.... I think Christine handled herself so well. It disappointed me that Janelle didn't tell Robin to stfu and stand up for christine.
Maybe someday as Christine rides off to Utah, she’ll stop by Robyn’s house and finally tell her off … And then Janelle will do the same thing on her way out 😩

What stands out to me about Meri : “I will never say polygamy is the problem.” That to me summarizes why she is making such irrational choices. She’s choosing her beliefs and religion above herself, her needs or even reality. It’s a way to be a martyr as well. I don’t feel empathy for her at all. I’m very put off by attitudes that prohibit growth/change in themselves and doesn’t accept the same in others. Janelle to me is a very intelligent person. I actually admire her cool. She’s practical. She hasn’t lost sight on the finances. When she leaves - and I believe she has her limits and will walk, when that happens the trifecta of Meri, Robyn and Manchild will be screwed. Christine is amazing. Amazing and inspirational. I love how she consistently has tried to put her kids first. It’s not easy to look at your life and say I am going to walk away from everything familiar and not only imagine but DO something different. Incredible. I can’t with Robyn. I just can’t. She makes no sense to me and she’s literally a pain to listen to. There’s not enough therapy in the world for Kody to get right. Men like him have taken and take up way too much space in the world.

I really agree with your point that Meri has chosen her religion over everything (even herself!) and that allows her to think of herself as a martyr and better than the other wives. That’s why she could say that it wasn’t a big deal that Christine left … Meri thinks the real strength is in staying and continuing to suffer. Sheesh 🙄
It’s funny Robyn is so upset about losing a sister wife that she did nothing to encourage the relationship. I have the feeling she likes to be the perpetual victim and damsel in distress. There is nothing one could do where she would not feel slighted.

The truth is that when something is really important to you, you find a way to make it happen. The fact that Kody couldn’t find anywhere to put Truly in that huge house speaks volumes. It also raises flags because no one’s allowed inside Robins house, what’s going on in there???? Let that sink in.
Yes!! It is hard to watch because it's exhausting, and yet at the same time, I have to watch. I think with Janelle, she shuts down around confrontation and yesterday's episode, I saw her interject herself into the conversation more so than normal, like you, I wish she had been a little more vocal in defense of Christine, but I also know that because she said "Yay" when Christine said her house sold, that Kody is going to come after her next, and will not stop until she throws up her hands and either walks away, or conforms and begins to accept her role in the family is no different than Meri's. Meri, she is exhausting to me, because it's like she has absolutely no self respect, and allows herself to be treated like dirt. Maybe she feels she deserves it, after the Catfishing thing...am I the only one who wants that to disappear and never be spoken of again? Anyway, I think Kody's treatment of Meri, has broken her spirit and she has no idea what she really thinks, because she doesn't feel she has the right to think anything Kody doesn't approve of. Meri was looking for a man to love her and take her away from the family, but they’re never upfront about that.
To me the biggest disconnect is between tv show Meri and Instagram Meri. Her Lives are super HAPPY and energetic, while her tv presence is depressed curmudgeon. I get that her Ig is all about sales/MLMs but it's just such a huge disparity. It also shows the truth about the sister wives, that with them she is miserable, while with her friends she's a totally different person who is clearly loved & supported.

Fact: This is all about the chickens coming home to roost. Robyn knew ol' Codster was forgoing his sexual intimacy with the other three wives, probably since they married and perhaps long before that. My guess is the two of them agreed on it somewhere along the line, placating themselves with the idea that things like faith/TV royalties/investment in the longtime friendship and children would suffice/be enough for the other wives. It's why Cody was dumb enough to tell Christine that he didn't want a sexual marriage with her. He probably got sick of her asking about it and just finally came right out and said it, never GUESSING she would share it with viewers. You'll notice that once that cat was out of the bag, Mari stared eluding to her decade of sexless marriage as well. Janelle still seems to want to protect her privacy which is fine but also absurd when one is on a TV show about the details of your polygamous life? Which BTW, always leads back to the marriage bed. It's why therapist's offices are crammed with couples seeking help. To summarize, Robyn was happy with all the attention lavished upon her and is somehow, startlingly, of the belief that the other wives should shut up and sit down.....want nothing and get nothing. What mature thinking adult is that selfish?
Yes, excellent points! Do you remember that other polygamous family that was on TLC? My five wives, I think it was called. I heard somewhere that part of the reason it got cancelled was that it felt too icky (for lack of a better word). They showed the husband in the different wives’ bedrooms and that didn’t sit right with audiences. Part of the appeal with the Browns was that they alluded to intimate relationships, but never really made us process the fact that Kody was (theoretically) sleeping with all of the wives 🥴
Truely should be spending time with Robyn, Janelle and Meri. At their homes. They were all supposed to be mothers. Robyn should send Sol and Ari over to Christine’s. What lies these people told us more than 10 years ago.

I was routing for the Duggar’s too until Jessa was courting and Michelle said ‘daddy decided’ they will side hug upon greeting and leaving, blah blah blah… Jill and Josh had been through it. It was creepy Michelle sitting on her SIL to be in the back seat of a truck cause no room for 3 people all in the name of modesty. That they needed to be followed onto the front porch, even the Amish allow a couple to be alone on the front porch. And it flew in the face of the parents insisting the couple set the rules for the courtship. Daddy decided, he isn’t part of the couple. Then I noticed daddy decided Jill, the couple with no kids, would rent the massive home out of his Walmart paycheck. And another couple would rent the smaller home. Why were they renting? Where was all the money? All the time on their hands being homeschooled and all the savings being expected to live at home until marriage? They said they had money apart from the show and the kids were not renting the homes they earned the money to pay for, but then where did the money go? Theft. These people were just too controlling to be parent, teacher, matchmaker, employer for most, landlord, pastor, policeman, judge, therapist, parole officer.. I really wish TLC would just do 3 seasons for any family with a minor. Let them grow up or the parents decide what to film and what to publish and control the editing. And the kids never get paid. And we see the holes in the story and worry. So mad. I think they are hiding something at Robyns. Aspyn was fine, Logan was fine. But why can’t the four older kids care for Ari and why does Robyn need her niece, Christine’s teen, Kody, paid nanny all the time? Maybe it’s a health issue they want to keep private? Maybe the other wives don’t know? Kody felt that the other three could handle it or his very young kids with the other three. I know David may be on spectrum. I know one daughter has some anxiety. The bunch were a mess when losing their rental. I can just imagine COVID being more anxiety than the rental issue. Maybe he likes being needed? He seems to like being able to not work so hard with the kids or Robyn cause he is always there, perk of monogamy.
They used to send kids to other houses! I remember an episode when they were in Vegas and Gwendlyn was having issues with Christine and was staying with Meri a lot, and Christine talked about what a blessing it was. I guess that kind of staying over stuff stopped in Flagstaff.
Robyn had many opportunities to be a good sister wife, but she didn't take any of them. she could have offered Janelle and her kids shelter when they were homeless... she could have been helpful to Christine after Ysabel's surgery. She could have hosted family gatherings. Robyn seems stand-offish from the rest of the family. She has not melded with the family at all. Robyn is all talk- no action.
Backwoods Barbie is another TH-cam vlogger who discovered that they all actually live in a huge cabin on coyote pass (separate living quarters of course). So when Kody says there's no room, its because him and Robyn don't live in that house anymore (allegedly). You notice they never film inside her home anymore? Lol and although Janelle is seen living in the RV, its just for filming. She was living in the cabin home as well.
I watch Backwoods and I really enjoy her channel, but I’m not convinced the cabin theory is real 🤷🏽♀️ I’m open to being wrong, but it’s hard for me to believe they really all live in there. I guess we’ll see!!

Meri had a lovely dig against Kody. A friend didn’t care about COVID and just came when her mom died. Meri drove alone. All those people? People all that was about Robyn but not.
I was happy for Meri in that moment … she deserves to have a friend who cares for her, although it’s weird that she’s in such a large family and NONE of them were with her.
@@EverydayCandice I believe for the service kody and a bunch were there. But no one driving up to see her right away as they got the call to come quick and Bonnie passed before Meri got there. No one in the family willing to be handing the things needing to be handled. And dropping everything not worried about COVID cause she needed someone to be there. The friend Jen did all that. She got a mask and got on a plane. March of 2021. Meri’s child was with fiancé photographed masked outside even. The rest put their masks down outside. Not everyone vaccinated yet so yes some isolation and testing still. In Illinois I think April was the 16-65 just starting first doses, my husband and I spaced out appointment of them for few days and my first in April, don’t know how AZ or UT handled it. Or was it 18-65? Kody was there. Janelle came. Robyn no where to be seen but maybe she just didn’t make the news article? Christine was with her daughter about to give birth. Wonder what Robyn’s doctor appointment was about? Wonder the timeline? They keep teasing things coming up and then we never see the exchange for weeks. Robyn is usually so anti medicine with the her views on childbirth. Quite snobby about women designed to push the baby out at home and how important keeping the cord attached to the baby after the placenta delivered.. Really weird response to it all. It’s natural for the baby to come out. As if anyone has control over all that. I know Christine posted on social media getting the shot but nothing from Kody and Robyn the ones most concerned. The thing I hate is they are so far behind. I’d like to put it all behind. I finally went to dentist and didn’t need a mask on in the wait room. I was there 5 minutes before I realized no one had a mask on, even me.
Janelle is not even married to Kody anymore according to Gwendolyn live. I’m tired too either TLC give Janelle/Christine a spin off and cancel sister wife or I’m just done with them entirely. Fact she said her dad is a little worse off camera is sad.

Kody comes out and says he is over polygamy and doesn’t believe in it anymore (in season 16 I think the episode is called “being strong or being bitch”) Kody is just pissed off Christine won’t “fake it” for the tv anymore… apparently they took a huge pay cut in 2016 so the money from the show was no longer enough for them to all live on… that’s when they all got involved in MLM’s …
I’ve heard that too … that they took a big pay cut. The 3 wives seem to be doing well with the MLMs… better than Robyn ever could because she doesn’t have a fan base. I’m sure she’s nervous at the thought of them all leaving.
I think Janell & Christine are very warm, loving, caring people & mothers. One's an extrovert & Janelle's more of an introvert. That's why she couldn't think what to say when Cody attacked Christine. I don't think 'til the next day or week what I should have said. But I think Cody's ruthlessness with Christine got her back up so months later when he was attacking & blaming her while his minions Robyn & Mary looked on approvingly, she finally stood up for herself & rose up & strongly challenged him..." Absolutely! This show is exhausting to watch. Yet here we are. I think most of us keep watching because we keep hoping that something, anything, they come together or they fall apart. Something will happen to bring this to an end. However as long as TLC continues to shell out the money they are going to keep dragging all of us through this Sister Wives mess. This season in particular has been dragged out to the point of not making any sense. Its staged, fake reality TV at its worst. Exhausting
At this point Robyn is his only wife. He said that he does not consider himself married to Meri, he doesn’t want to struggle with Jenelle( which by their own admission they’re platonic) and Christine has divorced him. He is officially monogamous.
How is there no room throw the adult children out, like you wanted Janelle to do and then you will have 3 empty bedrooms and plenty of room for Truly. Also when did it become a thing that kids can't share a room?
Way more kids interact than 6. Christine’s kids tried to go over to Robyn’s. Janelle’s boys wanted to go over there. They are separate cause they want to be. He threw Maddie under the bus and Leon and Paedyn. Paedyn was all the time at Janelle’s as she had a lot of the boys. Kody doesn’t know his kids. Leon has not lived in the same state for years so is an adult and doesn’t live nearby. That doesn’t mean distant. There is such an age gap between the kids. I think each of the kids are close to maybe 3-5 of the others. Mykelti helped take care of Robyn’s as a teen so is closer to her kids than maybe Savanah. The reason he didn’t care about Maddie and his relationship is he is mad she is housing Ysabel. He tends to punish the kids of Christine. How disloyal. Who told him somethihg and why ask Maddie about Christine. Not her kid. Why not ask Christine? Maybe it’s a lie? It might have been. He started to spend less time and that is what led to the split. It was sabotage. Here is something else. He also noticed he has it easier at Robyns’s and interacting with the kids over there. It is a perk of monogamy. Time. He has been monogamous all since COVID and spent way more time there before. Course he does not have to work as hard. He signed up for this. Ugh. He could find Robyn a housing solution when their rental was about to be lost. He acted without her okay. No effort to find a place for the RV that could be hooked to utilities or find a rental or paid for house or the newly built one he promised all of them 3 years ago. Christine house selling showed how tight the market was at that moment.
Yup! I hated watching him belittle the relationships the kids have … outside of Robyn’s kids, many of the older kids are in other states and still seem to stay connected at least as well as any family spread across the country. I’m glad they showed Janelle countering his statement by saying that he’s just seeing things from Robyn’s perspective.
i think janelle doesnt know what to say because she has never been emotionally invested in kody himself she wanted the family lifestyle for her kids and had a business relationship more with kody with kid benefits. she doesnt care to listen to his attitude issues now that she is done having kids. its telling she made a decision to move into an rv to get things rolling without asking him anything about it. i think she values her friendship with christine and is grateful that christine raised her kids so she can have a career. janelle has just left for a couple of months before the show aired when she didnt like what kody was doing. lol
an addition to what i said before the whole reason they got this show is because of christine and i bet they are afraid the show will follow her and her new life which honestly id rather watch more, but christine was out there advocating so much publicaly for polygamy that they got picked up for a show. apparently her family was really important at one time in their church.
I just heard about that too … how the show creators found Christine and approached her about the show. I hope this show does follow her and we get to watch her start her life in Utah!
I agree with everything! I wonder if Cody is doing what I've seen some men do; if he can't have things the way he wants with his kids then he just kind of forgets about them. Too many of course. Grown up and smart. He's older and it's harder to put the effort in. I don't feel like he started out a bad father. It all became too much in all the houses. Robyn aside living so far apart in separate homes made him have to work at it. Just my opinion.
You might very well be right. In the beginning, it did seem like he enjoyed his kids and his family. Maybe it became too much work and he got too overwhelmed and tired to maintain it all. Tragic :(
I don't understand why Meri and Robyn would want Christine to stay in a relationship she is not happy in. That doesn't make any sense to me. I thought Robyn was totally out of line.
they want Christine to stay because it makes their relationships look less pathetic. Since this whole stuff with Christine has been going on, Meri and Cody have been getting along better. Cody still says they’ll be no relationship with Meri but Meri is stupid and believes the nonsense. Robin tells her about just holding on.. and Robin Hass to have bad relationships around her so that her relationship with Cody looks perfect in comparison.

Watching this show is like watching a train wreck u can't take your eyes off it. Meri is pathetic. She is waiting for a man who is already gone. He ant coming back. Thanks for sharing your perspective … I agree that Robyn wants this lifestyle. I think Christine really wanted it too. But Robyn was more cutthroat about how to create a good existence in her marriage, whereas Christine took Kody’s interest and loyalty for granted. I don’t hate Robyn for it, but I’m not rooting for her right now (except for her to leave Kody, if she would ever want to).
Really I'm happy that Cody and Christine are getting divorced but sorry for the kids....I do not like Christine equally...I think Robin is the only real one...I think Cody is sad....I feel for Meri...Cody is suppose to be a spiritual leader so if he is what he is forgive marriage date your wife build it back up

Lehi home for three wives and 13 kids was 6000 ft2. Robyn’s home for 6, 4400ft2. Janelle’s trailer has 3 beds. Truely can have her own space there. He is so picky about homes. Just like Meri. They should have stayed regular married.

Why not go for a few days or be the person at Christine’s during the recovery? It’s his fault Christine had to decide just get it done after years of pain. He kept pressuring her to go Alternative exercises and she promised him in Vegas she would tough it out and not have surgery. They are so weird with medical. One kid fell off a horse and they went to a chiropractor. I go to one too but a minor kid fell off a horse go to ER or urgent care. Follow up with a chiro. I’m glad Truely born in hospital. I think most born at home which is fine. One going to hospital means they are sensible and not risky people and listen to midwife. Robyn seems quite anti hospital. Is it the polygamy thing and law enforcement worry?

You are so sweet. I found Janelle not knowing what to do to be pretty standard for her. Janelle is not an overly emotional person. I think the only time I've seen her really get angry was when she said,"I don't have a house." to Kody and I thought her support of Christine is so sweet!
I think Janelle was really trying to jump in to support Christine in the best way that she can. It is hard for her, but she felt strongly enough about it to say she has been aware of problems in Christine and Kody's marriage for quite awhile when Robyn was trying to make it sound like Christine was leaving without having tried to work it out. That is something. She also made it quite clear in her interview that she thought Kody and Robyn were "gaslighting" Christine, which they are. And she stayed after the talk and hugged Christine, showing her support for her friend...all of which she has to know are going to get her on Kody and Robyn and Meri's bad sides. Still she did what she thought was right. I admire Janelle. I think she is a genuinely good person.

Now that’s a good point. His ego is fragile and, you’re right … he is feeling too vulnerable and embarrassed.
That’s 100% the difference in how he’s treating Meri and Christine. HE got to choose to leave Meri. He didn’t get to choose to leave Christine, even though he emotionally and physically left the relationship a long time ago. Christine chose to officially end their relationship and THAT’S what pisses him off. He says Meri could marry someone else and he wouldn’t care, but the idea of Christine with a “greedy boyfriend,” as he says, has him raging. It’s all about power and control with Kody.
It really angered me when Robin tried to make Christine out to be a liar.... I think Christine handled herself so well. It disappointed me that Janelle didn't tell Robin to stfu and stand up for christine.
Editing. Janelle had spoken up for the kids already. Got excited about the house selling. Kody will ignore her later for that or do other mind games.

What stands out to me about Meri : “I will never say polygamy is the problem.” That to me summarizes why she is making such irrational choices. She’s choosing her beliefs and religion above herself, her needs or even reality. It’s a way to be a martyr as well. I don’t feel empathy for her at all. I’m very put off by attitudes that prohibit growth/change in themselves and doesn’t accept the same in others. Janelle to me is a very intelligent person. I actually admire her cool. She’s practical. She hasn’t lost sight on the finances. When she leaves - and I believe she has her limits and will walk, when that happens the trifecta of Meri, Robyn and Manchild will be screwed. Christine is amazing. Amazing and inspirational. I love how she consistently has tried to put her kids first. It’s not easy to look at your life and say I am going to walk away from everything familiar and not only imagine but DO something different. Incredible. I can’t with Robyn. I just can’t. She makes no sense to me and she’s literally a pain to listen to. There’s not enough therapy in the world for Kody to get right. Men like him have taken and take up way too much space in the world.

It’s funny Robyn is so upset about losing a sister wife that she did nothing to encourage the relationship. I have the feeling she likes to be the perpetual victim and damsel in distress. There is nothing one could do where she would not feel slighted.

The truth is that when something is really important to you, you find a way to make it happen. The fact that Kody couldn’t find anywhere to put Truly in that huge house speaks volumes. It also raises flags because no one’s allowed inside Robins house, what’s going on in there???? Let that sink in.

Yes!! It is hard to watch because it's exhausting, and yet at the same time, I have to watch. I think with Janelle, she shuts down around confrontation and yesterday's episode, I saw her interject herself into the conversation more so than normal, like you, I wish she had been a little more vocal in defense of Christine, but I also know that because she said "Yay" when Christine said her house sold, that Kody is going to come after her next, and will not stop until she throws up her hands and either walks away, or conforms and begins to accept her role in the family is no different than Meri's. Meri, she is exhausting to me, because it's like she has absolutely no self respect, and allows herself to be treated like dirt. Maybe she feels she deserves it, after the Catfishing thing...am I the only one who wants that to disappear and never be spoken of again? Anyway, I think Kody's treatment of Meri, has broken her spirit and she has no idea what she really thinks, because she doesn't feel she has the right to think anything Kody doesn't approve of. To me the biggest disconnect is between tv show Meri and Instagram Meri. Her Lives are super HAPPY and energetic, while her tv presence is depressed curmudgeon. I get that her Ig is all about sales/MLMs but it's just such a huge disparity. It also shows the truth about the sister wives, that with them she is miserable, while with her friends she's a totally different person who is clearly loved & supported.

Fact: This is all about the chickens coming home to roost. Robyn knew ol' Codster was forgoing his sexual intimacy with the other three wives, probably since they married and perhaps long before that. My guess is the two of them agreed on it somewhere along the line, placating themselves with the idea that things like faith/TV royalties/investment in the longtime friendship and children would suffice/be enough for the other wives. It's why Cody was dumb enough to tell Christine that he didn't want a sexual marriage with her. He probably got sick of her asking about it and just finally came right out and said it, never GUESSING she would share it with viewers. You'll notice that once that cat was out of the bag, Mari stared eluding to her decade of sexless marriage as well. Janelle still seems to want to protect her privacy which is fine but also absurd when one is on a TV show about the details of your polygamous life? Which BTW, always leads back to the marriage bed. It's why therapist's offices are crammed with couples seeking help.
To summarize, Robyn was happy with all the attention lavished upon her and is somehow, startlingly, of the belief that the other wives should shut up and sit down.....want nothing and get nothing. What mature thinking adult is that selfish?
Yes, excellent points! Do you remember that other polygamous family that was on TLC? My five wives, I think it was called. I heard somewhere that part of the reason it got cancelled was that it felt too icky (for lack of a better word). They showed the husband in the different wives’ bedrooms and that didn’t sit right with audiences. Part of the appeal with the Browns was that they alluded to intimate relationships, but never really made us process the fact that Kody was (theoretically) sleeping with all of the wives 🥴

I was routing for the Duggar’s too until Jessa was courting and Michelle said ‘daddy decided’ they will side hug upon greeting and leaving, blah blah blah… Jill and Josh had been through it. It was creepy Michelle sitting on her SIL to be in the back seat of a truck cause no room for 3 people all in the name of modesty. That they needed to be followed onto the front porch, even the Amish allow a couple to be alone on the front porch. And it flew in the face of the parents insisting the couple set the rules for the courtship. Daddy decided, he isn’t part of the couple. Then I noticed daddy decided Jill, the couple with no kids, would rent the massive home out of his Walmart paycheck. And another couple would rent the smaller home. Why were they renting? Where was all the money? All the time on their hands being homeschooled and all the savings being expected to live at home until marriage? They said they had money apart from the show and the kids were not renting the homes they earned the money to pay for, but then where did the money go? Theft. These people were just too controlling to be parent, teacher, matchmaker, employer for most, landlord, pastor, policeman, judge, therapist, parole officer.. I really wish TLC would just do 3 seasons for any family with a minor. Let them grow up or the parents decide what to film and what to publish and control the editing. And the kids never get paid. And we see the holes in the story and worry. So mad. I think they are hiding something at Robyns. Aspyn was fine, Logan was fine. But why can’t the four older kids care for Ari and why does Robyn need her niece, Christine’s teen, Kody, paid nanny all the time? Maybe it’s a health issue they want to keep private? Maybe the other wives don’t know? Kody felt that the other three could handle it or his very young kids with the other three. I know David may be on spectrum. I know one daughter has some anxiety. The bunch were a mess when losing their rental. I can just imagine COVID being more anxiety than the rental issue. Maybe he likes being needed? He seems to like being able to not work so hard with the kids or Robyn cause he is always there, perk of monogamy.
They used to send kids to other houses! I remember an episode when they were in Vegas and Gwendlyn was having issues with Christine and was staying with Meri a lot, and Christine talked about what a blessing it was. I guess that kind of staying over stuff stopped in Flagstaff.
Robyn had many opportunities to be a good sister wife, but she didn't take any of them. she could have offered Janelle and her kids shelter when they were homeless... she could have been helpful to Christine after Ysabel's surgery. She could have hosted family gatherings. Robyn seems stand-offish from the rest of the family. She has not melded with the family at all. Robyn is all talk- no action.

So when Kody says there's no room, its because him and Robyn don't live in that house anymore (allegedly). You notice they never film inside her home anymore? Lol and although Janelle is seen living in the RV, its just for filming. She was living in the cabin home as well.
I watch Backwoods and I really enjoy her channel, but I’m not convinced the cabin theory is real 🤷🏽♀️ I’m open to being wrong, but it’s hard for me to believe they really all live in there. I guess we’ll see!!

Meri had a lovely dig against Kody. A friend didn’t care about COVID and just came when her mom died. Meri drove alone. All those people? People all that was about Robyn but not.
I was happy for Meri in that moment … she deserves to have a friend who cares for her, although it’s weird that she’s in such a large family and NONE of them were with her.
@@EverydayCandice I believe for the service kody and a bunch were there. But no one driving up to see her right away as they got the call to come quick and Bonnie passed before Meri got there. No one in the family willing to be handing the things needing to be handled. And dropping everything not worried about COVID cause she needed someone to be there. The friend Jen did all that. She got a mask and got on a plane. March of 2021. Meri’s child was with fiancé photographed masked outside even. The rest put their masks down outside. Not everyone vaccinated yet so yes some isolation and testing still. In Illinois I think April was the 16-65 just starting first doses, my husband and I spaced out appointment of them for few days and my first in April, don’t know how AZ or UT handled it. Or was it 18-65? Kody was there. Janelle came. Robyn no where to be seen but maybe she just didn’t make the news article? Christine was with her daughter about to give birth. Wonder what Robyn’s doctor appointment was about? Wonder the timeline? They keep teasing things coming up and then we never see the exchange for weeks. Robyn is usually so anti medicine with the her views on childbirth. Quite snobby about women designed to push the baby out at home and how important keeping the cord attached to the baby after the placenta delivered.. Really weird response to it all. It’s natural for the baby to come out. As if anyone has control over all that. I know Christine posted on social media getting the shot but nothing from Kody and Robyn the ones most concerned. The thing I hate is they are so far behind. I’d like to put it all behind. I finally went to dentist and didn’t need a mask on in the wait room. I was there 5 minutes before I realized no one had a mask on, even me.

Kody is just pissed off Christine won’t “fake it” for the tv anymore… apparently they took a huge pay cut in 2016 so the money from the show was no longer enough for them to all live on… that’s when they all got involved in MLM’s …
I’ve heard that too … that they took a big pay cut. The 3 wives seem to be doing well with the MLMs… better than Robyn ever could because she doesn’t have a fan base. I’m sure she’s nervous at the thought of them all leaving.
I think Janell & Christine are very warm, loving, caring people & mothers. One's an extrovert & Janelle's more of an introvert. That's why she couldn't think what to say when Cody attacked Christine. I don't think 'til the next day or week what I should have said. But I think Cody's ruthlessness with Christine got her back up so months later when he was attacking & blaming her while his minions Robyn & Mary looked on approvingly, she finally stood up for herself & rose up & strongly challenged him..." Absolutely! This show is exhausting to watch. Yet here we are. I think most of us keep watching because we keep hoping that something, anything, they come together or they fall apart. Something will happen to bring this to an end. However as long as TLC continues to shell out the money they are going to keep dragging all of us through this Sister Wives mess. This season in particular has been dragged out to the point of not making any sense. Its staged, fake reality TV at its worst. Exhausting

At this point Robyn is his only wife. He said that he does not consider himself married to Meri, he doesn’t want to struggle with Jenelle( which by their own admission they’re platonic) and Christine has divorced him. He is officially monogamous.

Way more kids interact than 6. Christine’s kids tried to go over to Robyn’s. Janelle’s boys wanted to go over there. They are separate cause they want to be. He threw Maddie under the bus and Leon and Paedyn. Paedyn was all the time at Janelle’s as she had a lot of the boys. Kody doesn’t know his kids. Leon has not lived in the same state for years so is an adult and doesn’t live nearby. That doesn’t mean distant. There is such an age gap between the kids. I think each of the kids are close to maybe 3-5 of the others. Mykelti helped take care of Robyn’s as a teen so is closer to her kids than maybe Savanah. The reason he didn’t care about Maddie and his relationship is he is mad she is housing Ysabel. He tends to punish the kids of Christine. How disloyal. Who told him somethihg and why ask Maddie about Christine. Not her kid. Why not ask Christine? Maybe it’s a lie? It might have been. He started to spend less time and that is what led to the split. It was sabotage. Here is something else. He also noticed he has it easier at Robyns’s and interacting with the kids over there. It is a perk of monogamy. Time. He has been monogamous all since COVID and spent way more time there before. Course he does not have to work as hard. He signed up for this. Ugh. He could find Robyn a housing solution when their rental was about to be lost. He acted without her okay. No effort to find a place for the RV that could be hooked to utilities or find a rental or paid for house or the newly built one he promised all of them 3 years ago. Christine house selling showed how tight the market was at that moment.
Yup! I hated watching him belittle the relationships the kids have … outside of Robyn’s kids, many of the older kids are in other states and still seem to stay connected at least as well as any family spread across the country. I’m glad they showed Janelle countering his statement by saying that he’s just seeing things from Robyn’s perspective.

i think janelle doesnt know what to say because she has never been emotionally invested in kody himself she wanted the family lifestyle for her kids and had a business relationship more with kody with kid benefits. she doesnt care to listen to his attitude issues now that she is done having kids. its telling she made a decision to move into an rv to get things rolling without asking him anything about it. i think she values her friendship with christine and is grateful that christine raised her kids so she can have a career. janelle has just left for a couple of months before the show aired when she didnt like what kody was doing. lol
an addition to what i said before the whole reason they got this show is because of christine and i bet they are afraid the show will follow her and her new life which honestly id rather watch more, but christine was out there advocating so much publicaly for polygamy that they got picked up for a show. apparently her family was really important at one time in their church.
I just heard about that too … how the show creators found Christine and approached her about the show. I hope this show does follow her and we get to watch her start her life in Utah!

I agree with everything! I wonder if Cody is doing what I've seen some men do; if he can't have things the way he wants with his kids then he just kind of forgets about them. Too many of course. Grown up and smart. He's older and it's harder to put the effort in. I don't feel like he started out a bad father. It all became too much in all the houses. Robyn aside living so far apart in separate homes made him have to work at it. Just my opinion.
You might very well be right. In the beginning, it did seem like he enjoyed his kids and his family. Maybe it became too much work and he got too overwhelmed and tired to maintain it all. Tragic :(
I don't understand why Meri and Robyn would want Christine to stay in a relationship she is not happy in. That doesn't make any sense to me. I thought Robyn was totally out of line.

they want Christine to stay because it makes their relationships look less pathetic. Since this whole stuff with Christine has been going on, Meri and Cody have been getting along better. Cody still says they’ll be no relationship with Meri but Meri is stupid and believes the nonsense. Robin tells her about just holding on.. and Robin Hass to have bad relationships around her so that her relationship with Cody looks perfect in comparison.
If… and I do mean if…. I could control myself to not “ accidentally “ fall into Robin I would’ve said a whole lot more and I would say to Robin…. You are the poison of this family’

Has anyone thought that Kody’s behavior hiding in the closet to talk privately is because he doesn’t want anyone to hear? That’s what my dad did while cheating on my mom, he would find a place so NO ONE could hear him.This is a huge red flag! And now, he’s no longer interested in his wives. They are dropping like flies……now he’s also walking away from his children and grandkids I bet that he’s Already hooked up with someone else. Polygamy just gives men permission to commit adultery!

I think Janelle has held back because it was supposed be one wife with the husband and their issues. That was the rule all along. Robyn overstepped her boundaries. Thanks for sharing your perspective … I agree that Robyn wants this lifestyle. I think Christine really wanted it too. But Robyn was more cutthroat about how to create a good existence in her marriage, whereas Christine took Kody’s interest and loyalty for granted. I don’t hate Robyn for it, but I’m not rooting for her right now (except for her to leave Kody, if she would ever want to).

Lehi home for three wives and 13 kids was 6000 ft2. Robyn’s home for 6, 4400ft2. Janelle’s trailer has 3 beds. Truely can have her own space there. He is so picky about homes. Just like Meri. They should have stayed regular married.
Yup, it’s another made up tale that there’s no room for Truely to stay with Kody … and the weather is too cold to visit Ysabel outside … and he can’t miss that much work to take Ysabel to her surgery. Excuse, excuse, excuse 🙄

Why not go for a few days or be the person at Christine’s during the recovery? It’s his fault Christine had to decide just get it done after years of pain. He kept pressuring her to go Alternative exercises and she promised him in Vegas she would tough it out and not have surgery. They are so weird with medical. One kid fell off a horse and they went to a chiropractor. I go to one too but a minor kid fell off a horse go to ER or urgent care. Follow up with a chiro. I’m glad Truely born in hospital. I think most born at home which is fine. One going to hospital means they are sensible and not risky people and listen to midwife. Robyn seems quite anti hospital. Is it the polygamy thing and law enforcement worry?
