Honestly, this is the best that could ever happen to the LEC, this kind of healthy beef gathers attention, gives the reflectors to the teams performance (cause now they need to support those words) and I'm 100% they all agreed to do this, g2 has been doing this back and forth with fnatic over the years, its time for the rest of the teams to join the party

I’m from Spain I dont have high expectations for this full Spanish roster but I’ll be supporting them, the rivalry is good for the league but people get too toxic over it, can’t they be like G2 and Fnatic fans who have a healthy rivalry? Why do they have to be like Barcelona and Madrid fans in football and hate on each other, it makes it all less enjoyable. And I understand the Spain vs France thing of course but some people can’t let it rest even for a second and it’s not just some silly banter it’s pure hate that comes from it

I (german) didn't really like the spanish community even before that, because of their over the top toxicity and spamming, but after MADKOI got rid of all players except elyoya and tried to build a full spanish roster i lost any sympathy that is left. This shouldn't be a patriotic contest and it's unfair to players who performed well regionally. On top of all that elyoya is becoming way too arrogant, which is a tragedy because he was funny and can play different styles. Now it's just spain vs rest of the west. Well at least mad performed well this week, but i'm noticing how i'm turning into a hater😂

I'd like to encourage everyone that didn't know about this before to look into what Infinite Reality (Rogue's Parent company) was doing last year with KOI. In my opinion it's really hard for a team to properly function under those conditions, but for some reason this topic is rarely talked about outside the spanish comunity but still it's used as an argument against Ibai.

The NFT crisis begins between the seasons, and in the infinite reality, Rogue runs out of money, causing several Koi influencers to stop being paid. Ibai loses 3 million of his own money to pay the workers whom Rogue should be paying. Finally, Ibai leaves Rogue, and he recovers the Koi brand.
There's a bunch of videos but they're all in spanish but the tldr version is that Ibai and KOI clashed regularly about signings and budget with part of the Infinite Reality/Rogue esports department and that made every operation considerably harder to make@@coderaven1107
Absolutely true, but it's also Ibai/Koi's fault to agree to this poor deal with Rogue. KC could have joined LEC last year too, but prefered to delay their arrival until they were sure to have full control over their LEC team, which was most certainly a good decision when you look at what happened to Koi last year.
Anyway hope that everyhting has been sort out for them now, but they'll still be in a weird spot for some time, until they can prove to be a somewhat stable structure (and have fans that are not first and foremost Ibai's fans)
@@coderaven1107 In short, Rogue is broke and wasnt paying their players, so Ibai spent 3M of his own for paying everyone. Rogue's situation is so done that Ibai was able to get out of the contract with pretty much everything because of how many times Rogue broke it.

I think the main point was that KC did build something from nothing and has done a lot for esports in France and Europe while Ibai (although very succesful streamer) didn't go through the process of creating a team and push it to the LEC. He "just" bought a team and brought his fanbase with him which (don't get me wrong) is super great for the league as well

It's a thing of warm countries, it makes us more spicy. It is not only in Spain or France, also in USA or Latin America
This is how EU always should have been. Instead of 40 countries pretending to be a single region (and still being so bad it can rarely get out of Groups). EU has always been a collection of nations that hate each other and are constantly at war. EU should be broken up into 10 regions with big countries--France, Spain, Germany--fielding their own teams while smaller countries like all those in Scandinavia making up perhaps two teams total. These individual regions all compete like Wild Cards and the top three get to go to Worlds. No more having dozens of countries combined to compete against all the other regions comprised of just one or two countries.

I'm going to explain elyoya's tweet because althought the translation word for word of caedrel is good if feel people might get it wrong. The word for word traduction is: If you were as good last year as annoying we would have won worlds. Basically what elyoya is saying is that he's being really annoying on twitter with the twits about mad lions when he was replaced and throwing "beef" to them and then mocking them now. So if he was as good as he is being annoying now they would have won worlds cause he is being really annoying (on twitter). I wouldn't see his twitt like he was seriously angry with nisqy and that they hate each other, but rather annoyed with him (I might be wrong but It's just what it seems). Taking this into account they definataly hold a grudge against each other but nothing that deep I believe.
