Joe that guy is just a inspiration to all all that hard work for 30 years wow I hope I can keep going for that long on my plot even tho my knees are wearing badly through the job iv done. Great vid joe.
Thanks Joe....I really enjoyed touring that gentleman’s allotment. It would be great to see it in full season as well. I bet it’s lovely. His private garden area was just beautiful.
What an amazing bloke he is, Wow 30 years of literally 'digging for dinner' amazing, thanks for showing us this video. A defo thumbs up from me. Barry (Wirral, ENG)
Lovely man. The hard work and dedication shows. I believe some who get a plot do not realize the effort it takes to maintain a garden. This gentleman worked this plot for 30 years. It is not overnight gardening, but years of doing the work. Fantastic video.
Oh wow what a wonderful video. What a great person with so much wisdom, knowledge & generosity. Reminded me so much of my dad who passed away 4 years ago. Loved his Shed & I said the same thing as I saw it...I could live there. 😁 this guy needs to do a TH-cam channel!!! He has so much to share. Thanks for showing us.
Hello Joe, that is not a shed, it’s more like a private Taj Mahal. This man has a lot of knowledge. And he’s willing to share his knowledge, that’s great. On my allotments we have an Italian guy (84 years of age) who is the master of fruits and vegetables. However his shed has the size of a toilet. Thank you for uploading this video. Cheers Joyce
1. Great video, real gentleman awesome allotment fantastic shed, tarific attitude. Sorry for your loss of your father. He must of been so proud to have been able to share his knowledge with you, your continued efforts of working the land you and your father shared will always have memory's for you. Many blessings to you and your family.
This is one of the best youtube videos I've ever seen. That fella is a gent and a one off he was really welcoming to you. You should do more plot tours of our people's plots. Great channel mate
All those years on one /two plots. All that hard work that's what keeps him young in mind and soul just a shame the body can't go on forever sometimes.
What a lovely gentleman! Thanks for sharing Joe, what a serious shed! Definitely the most interesting part of any hobby is seeing how other people do it! All the best, Martin.
He was so kind and generous to be offering everything to you! It just goes to show, see things that we have in common rather than focusing on our differences!
I love looking around other plots it's amazing to see what you can find! Being the only plot on my site it's like a treat for me to see other plots! Well done on your 300th episode!, Cheryl
I've been looking forward to this video, and it didn't disappoint. That gentleman is a credit to the allotment community. Well done Sir. So sorry to hear about his Father, but so glad to hear that he is carrying on with the allotment. This is more encouragement for me to push for my own allotment, thanks for this great video.
This is not just a shed...this is an m&s shed..haha, you’ll only understand that statement if you remember the old m&s adverts. What a nice down to earth and friendly guy, I love a nosey around people’s sheds, something about them that uncovers a bit of a persons character more so than snooping round a house (not that I do that though...lol) wondering if this has inspired you to think about extending your shed at some point...maybe you could make it cosy enough to spend the odd night there if you’re brave enough, it would be so cool to have a little log burner glowing away in a corner, you could do late night videos from the fireside...ooh bliss. 👍
Great video. Very inspirational. going out to my allotment now, you and the Indian guy are right. we must keep chipping away at little jobs as often as possible. My allotment is at the bottom of my garden. I farmer has allowed me to use some of his land. I have put some building, green house, raised beds etc. I love it. It was overgrown 5" weeds just a shame. I have worked very hard this year have grown a few things. but I am ready to get stuck in next year. Keep up the good work. Eamonn Evans Worcestershire.
Thank you for the video! I love seeing everyone’s plots. Everybody has such wonderful ideas and does things different and it turns out great! Kudos to the gentleman. It all looked so well taken care of!
Hey bro cognates on your 300th video ..keep up the good work that gent is so right shop veg tastes nothing like home grown the freshness is miles apart from store bought God bless you guys
WOW ! 300 videos well done. I been waiting for this video. Love that size of shed. All the comfort of home. Sorry to hear about his dad. Glad he is keeping his dads plot going. Have you heard of other people having a plot that long ? Wondering ? won't the seed potatoes for next year spoil ? When do you all plant your pot. for 2020 ? Have never seen pot. that BIG. Keep up the good work. Hi to Kelly. Your friend from the US. :)
What a lovely man! I'm lucky to have some " old boys" no way do I mean this in a bad way! at my allotment. They have so much knowledge and experience. I've always found them really approachable and always willing to help out and give advice. He is amazing to keep his plot so well but I did worry that maybe now he's got both plots it's going to be too much. But in saying that he would put a bloke 30/40 years younger a run for his money!! Cant wait to see other people's plots, even more so in Spring/ Summer xx
Let’s get this guy over 100 likes 👍

That is a fantastic space. He works hard to keep it up. No need for sprays and chemicals, just hard work.
