Hey guys! I work from home at RCI and wow. Seeing the cruise life onboard vs working behind the scenes is WILD. I haven't been on a cruise yet, so here is everything ive worked with the past 4 years come to life. Thanks for posting
Perfect video of you trying new things. I'm loving this journey and I was SO stoked to see you trying a new cruise line. I didn't know if it would happen, but it's been great following along. I adore you and Koda and I love your reviews because I feel like we have very similar food tastes. Wishing you guys the best and I can't wait to watch your future and magical adventures!
Perfect! So glad you are enjoying your cruise. We have only sailed Disney as well but hope to sail Royal Caribbean in the next year. Thanks for your awesome coverage of Allure of the Seas❤️
I was at lighthouse on Nov 21st and there were zero flies. Fans were still on but I didn’t see any near the food station. Only bees near the ice cream/sodas
This was such an incredible overview of the Allure of the Seas and the Perfect Day at CocoCay! Your attention to detail and insider tips really helped me envision the experience. From the breathtaking ship features to the island’s thrills, every moment sounds like it was crafted with “perfect” precision. Thank you for sharing your insights-this is truly the kind of content that makes planning a cruise adventure easier and more exciting!
as for the parade - my grandkids adore it (on the last cruise they were 6, 8 and 10 years old). They try to find a place to stand about where you were and all the characters who walk by high five them. Crazily they think that's the coolest thing ever. Also on all of our cruises the promenade has been totally packed with people. Maybe because our cruises are always 100% sold out (in august in europe). Anyway, the grandkids went to two of the parades on our cruise out of barcelona last summer. So yeah, there is an audience for whatever that is. I should add that they've been on 3 disney cruises as well (once on the magic, once on the dream and once on the wish) and enjoyed them too. But preferred the oasis of the seas cruise last summer.
perfect! royal was our first cruise line and I agree having the buffet open during dinner is a good idea for Disney to implement. We cruised Disney for our 2nd cruise and we are Disney cruise people ❤
Great vlog Adrian! One correction Disney never had a true buffet in the evening, they a few self serve offerings and you still ordered from a limited menu with a server. It was used as training for new staff. I wish they had a buffet on DCL.
This parade was not done on my 2 RC cruises. I did a 5 and 9 night cruise. I was on the class below this though. The boys also preferred the kids clubs on Disney. Idk if it was just my cruise or if it is normal, but the clubs hours were weird. The preteen club was closed in the middle of the day. It was open for a few hours in the morning if it was open at all. Then closes and opens up closer to dinner. The younger kids you need to pick them up after 2 hours then check them back in. Was it just my cruise? It was in Dec of last year 2023.
I think they started doing check in/out for towels when after the debut of Freedom of the Seas and getting wiped out during the pre inaugural travel agent cruises. Of course the towels also used to be nicer and well branded making them a target. One tiny perk of staying in a suite is that they skip the towel process with a suite sea pass.
We love Royal! Have been on Disney twice and we can just get way more for our money. We can stay in a suite on Royal for less than a regular room on Disney!
Perfect video! Love watching you experience Royal for the 1st time. We leave in 2 days on Navigator of the Seas from LA. I might have to finally go to some of these adult activities I usually skip.
When did you go you go? We were there 2 weeks ago. We thought the pool water and ocean were not cold We're from the north east and the water is freezing... For us it was perfect!! Love your videos!! Glad you are enjoying RCCL
We have done two Disney cruises and are doing a third in March. We just completed our second Royal Carribean cruise from Galveston and I feel like we are going to jump ship from Disney to Royal! What you get for your money on Royal is just better than Disney and my kids actually enjoyed the kids club on Royal more than Disney ! The kids club on Royal was just managed better than the one on Disney. My kids felt like it was hunger games on the Disney kids club.
As a Disney loyalist and previously a DCL addict I now have converted to Royal after our sailing in August on the Independence of the Seas. So many things to do at night, so much fun at night, and Royals island blows away Disney's. Have 3 Royal cruises booked for 2025 and 26.
Perfect! Video! Thanks for sharing and comparing your experience from Royal to Disney, as most viewers that’s mainly what we sail Disney and Royal. I will say and this is just me perhaps next time try a Junior Suite no matter what your next ship is on Royal I mean if it’s in your budget. I feel that this is where it’s apples to apples comparison. You get the tub bigger room double points which I believe you said Diamond is something you would like to hit status wise. Remember 50 cruises on Disney and you get your name on Castaway. 50 cruises on Royal in a Junior Suite and your Pinnacle! Six free drinks a day so many benefits free WiFi for so many days access to the suite lounge suite restaurant. Imagine if Disney offered that perk like to say Pearl status. Having access to the concierge lounge on any of the ships on Disney. With Royal you can. Look both have many benefits why not have both in due time. I can easily see you as Pearl on Disney and Diamond Plus on Royal in the next say 36 months? I think you can.
You and Koda are the PERFECT couple ❤ great video. I can say after this one i am 1000000% a Disney cruiser. Thank you for doing the work so we dont have 😅
Great video. We love Disney Cruise Line, but Perfect Day beats Disney’s private island. I wish Disney would add pools to their islands. We booked another Royal Caribbean cruise in May just to do Perfect Day again.
Coco Cay looks like a fun place. We sail royal in europe and alaska, so no private islands there. Hopefully, we'll get to coco cay one day. By the way, i agree about the annoying towel system. I wish they did it like disney. But it's not a dealbreaker for me.
We were on Allure not too long ago. When packing the night before our departure the next morning, I pulled the suitcase out from under my bed, and to my surprise I found the stash of towel creatures. I guess they just pull them out and leave it on your bed in a rotation.
I absolutely love this series. My husband and I eight years ago went on Allure of the seas for our Honeymoon. This was when it was the biggest ship out there. Yes, it is definitely massive. We participate in the game show and you’re right what I saw that I never wanna see again lol. For some reason My hubby ended up in the middle of it all lol. We really enjoyed ourselves. This February we are going on the Dream. Our first Disney Cruise. I love watching all your videos ❤
Key is how you say Cay in relation to the geographical feature. But Royal specifically pronounces it Kay so it rhymes with Day. So it’s Perfect Day at Coco Kay when referring to the experience. But if you’re just talking about the island it’d be more accurate to say Coco Key. Yes it’s confusing. Blame Royal’s branding. Carnival called their new experience Celebration Key to sidestep this whole thing.
Love royal glad you guys are experiencing other cruises besides Disney , make sure too sign up for the royal club if you keep on booking with them and use the key program too get off the ship early
@14:12 there’s a hidden menu item from the place behind you. Includes two items on your plate in this shot…ask for it the next time youre at Perfect Day. It’s not on the menu.
We were there at coco cay for the first time last week & the food was great! I hated how cold the splash pad water was though. My son hated it 😅. I wish they would heat the water
Adrian, the best part of CoCo Cay (for adult) is hands down Hideaway Beach! It’s usually only $40. And the pools are heated at both Hideaway Beach and the Beach Club. The Beach Club is a bit more expensive, but the Lobster meal is almost worth it.
I often get anxiety in restaurants--been that way since I was a kid so I don't know why--and a buffet would certainly reduce the stress and make things easier. The worst is waiters noticing you didn't finish your plate and asking "oh, you didn't like it?" It's so humiliating. With a buffet no one notices how little you are taking. Chickens are funny little critters and if they eat up all the flies I would love to see them running around. I don't like worrying about extra fees so I guess Disney's larger upfront cost might be better there. But then I probably wouldn't get my money's worth either. I guess it depends on what you want.
Perfect day looks interesting but I enjoy the beauty and ease of relaxing at castaway cay🤷🏻♀️ The quest on Disney is wild enough for me😂 I do agree dcl needs to open up buffet for dinner and keep deck food open longer. I also find it annoying that lounges are not always open or being used by alcohol tastings.
I must preface this with me and my wife don’t have kids so my views are bias toward adult crusing. First off the service on Disney cannot be beat they are incredible, also the quality of food is better. However Royal wins hands down when it comes to cruising. So much more variety and options on Royal. Tons of included food options all over the ship including main dining, buffet, multiple specialty restaurants , love me some late night pizza from Sorrentos. Many more entertainment options, love the crazy quest, piano bars, dance parties, Karaoke. with Disney kinda feels like everything winds down after 10pm. The private island has more options as far as food and entertainment and not infested with flys. I will say I have noticed the food quality of Royal has gone down the last year, they rolled out a new main dining rm menu and the older one was better. Disney always has a place in my heart and the service and staff is second to none. But when it comes to cruising Royal wins, especially on value. We probably go on 3-4 trips with Royal then throw in a Disney. Still haven’t been on Icon of the season yet but it’s on the to do list.
The only cool audience activity on Disney, was the baby race on the Wonder. Where they have infants race-crawl. Not sure if they do it on ships other than the Wonder.
Perfect The unfortunate thing about Royal is that their main dining room menu has gone downhill big time. Their specialty restaurants are great, but expensive. Often, the buffet is the best option for dinner which to me is unfortunate. I like being served and not eating from selections that 100s of people may have touched or sneezed on. Hideaway Beach at CoCo Cay has.a heated pool. It may be worth the upgrade in cooler months, but it is anything but relaxing. It is a party.
An Oasis and a Quantum in port at the same time? Nope. I'll stay on the ship if I don't have an overwater bungalow at the Coco Beach Club. Too many people on that little rock at the same time.
I thought the towel deposit would bother me, as we were used to Disney as well, but I actually I learned to love it! With just one towel per person, beach/pool chairs weren’t being reserved as much. We found on Disney people would reserve several (often in different areas), resulting in a sea of towels and no people sitting in the chairs. I actually wish Disney would implement the deposit. Though after switching to Royal, we likely won’t be back to Disney.
Hey guys! I work from home at RCI and wow. Seeing the cruise life onboard vs working behind the scenes is WILD. I haven't been on a cruise yet, so here is everything ive worked with the past 4 years come to life. Thanks for posting
Get on one asap!
I really wish Disney would add pool areas to their islands. I’m not much of a beach person and having pools would disperse the crowds
Me too!
That parade is the definition of camp 🤣✨🩷
Sure was!
Glad you had a great time at Coco cay. We are enjoying all of the Royal Caribbean content. It is our favorite cruise line.
Thanks! We're so glad you're enjoying it!

The "I like your cereal" comment was hilarious. LOL
Great to see you exploring CoCo. I've never been, but am dying to experience it!
Absolutely Perfect day to perfect day at co co cay it seems like.!! Glad you can experience all the fun Royal has to offer.
We had such a great time!
This was the PERFECT video to watch while on the treadmill!
Looks like you guys had a pretty PERFECT day! Can't wait for the next one! 🙂
Perfect! So glad you are enjoying your cruise. We have only sailed Disney as well but hope to sail Royal Caribbean in the next year. Thanks for your awesome coverage of Allure of the Seas❤️
Perfect! Thank you for sharing your experiences on Royal!!
We're glad you enjoyed it!
Perfect !!! I love Royal also, but like you, I love our Disney Cruises!
Looks like such a fun time!
Thank you for your content! It is so fun!
Our pleasure!
Perfect! That little penguin is the best. And I agree about the shades over the pier, I put that as a suggestion for LC.
The best thing is your not fighting off flies for your food.
I was at lighthouse on Nov 21st and there were zero flies. Fans were still on but I didn’t see any near the food station. Only bees near the ice cream/sodas
Haha agreed! We ate in peace!

Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for the PERFECT video!
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.
Great vlog Adrian! One correction Disney never had a true buffet in the evening, they a few self serve offerings and you still ordered from a limited menu with a server. It was used as training for new staff. I wish they had a buffet on DCL.

What camera did you use your video really pops great job
Looks like a PERFECT day. Great video!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh it was!
Thank you both for sharing.
Just confirming...those aqua colored beds were $400?!! To use?? 🌴🧡
They are pricey!

I still think it’s worth a shot at least once!
@@ThemeParkExpress ok ok twist my arm lol. Thank you for a great series. You guys are so cute!

Perfect great show 🎉

So glad you’re enjoying the series!
Coco Cay is our favorite island. So much free food and places to either chill or have fun! Plus, drink package works there. Lol
Can’t wait to go back
Brian likes Key, Royal says Kay whichever is fine. Perfect.
Key is how you say Cay in relation to the geographical feature. But Royal specifically pronounces it Kay so it rhymes with Day.

What a Perfect day!
@14:12 there’s a hidden menu item from the place behind you. Includes two items on your plate in this shot…ask for it the next time youre at Perfect Day. It’s not on the menu.
We will try it next time!
PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!
🤩
I have vacation coming up I. August but I’m scared to book a cruise cuz of hurricane season. Plus it would be my first cruise ever!!!
PERFECT 😊 that parade did look like hot mess express!!!
Perfect!!
🥳
We were there at coco cay for the first time last week & the food was great! I hated how cold the splash pad water was though. My son hated it 😅. I wish they would heat the water
They only heat coco beach club and hideaway beach pools
It was a little chilly but worth it!
PERFECT!
🤩

I will definitely have to check that out next time!
took that magic "carpet" ride right out of Disney ~ lol different kind of show but, I bet you laughed a lot
I was crying at times lol
Perfect!!! ❤
🥳
Uh oh we know how Brian and karry feel about mocking pirates! But that Vikings helmet falling off was 🤌🏻😂
Why it’s came up “Karry” I will never know 😂🤦🏼♀️
I wonder what they thing of this parade lol
I think the parade was hilarious - when compared with a Disney parade where everyone's steps and costumes are perfect. lol :)
Parade was a blast!
Pretty island - good ideas but all water options are far too cold
I agree, it was pretty chilly!
Perfect!
🥳
I’ll be on Allure next summer, and I know there will be a refresh, but I hope that parade remains on the ship!!
@@amp2tx584 They do parades on the newer ones too so there should still be one.
I’m sure it’ll stay. Maybe a few updates
Does RCI not have free main dining on the bigger ships?
They do , they have it on every ship, you just have hundreds of choices
They do!
Ocean water is cold too
Perfect video! I have to admit this Royal series is making me want to book another Disney cruise more now though 😅
It’s making me want to book a royal, those cruises are so much more fun!
Royal has so much to offer Disney had people brainwashed to thinking it’s the best
Maybe a little bit of both is the perfect cruise!
✨Perfect✨
Thanks for watching!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!

It definitely makes dining a lot less stressful!
Hey I seen you at Disneyland you e a cool guy
Perfect day looks interesting but I enjoy the beauty and ease of relaxing at castaway cay🤷🏻♀️
The quest on Disney is wild enough for me😂
I do agree dcl needs to open up buffet for dinner and keep deck food open longer.

(Perfect)you look a little shell shocked at the end there 😳😂 definitely not Disney
SOOOOO NOT DISNEY LOL
Perfect
🥳
Not only RC most other cruises have more choice for food.
Did he say with a set of dentures OUT of the mouth 😂😂😂
That pool is ice cold
Perfect... .
Thanks for watching!
Those chicken sandwiches look perfect
They were great!
The only cool audience activity on Disney, was the baby race on the Wonder. Where they have infants race-crawl. Not sure if they do it on ships other than the Wonder.
Baby racing is still fun!
Perfect
The unfortunate thing about Royal is that their main dining room menu has gone downhill big time. Their specialty restaurants are great, but expensive. Specialty restaurants are the way to go!
Why did you cut out the mozzarella stick? We wanna see cheese pull😩
The file got corrupted! 🫣
An Oasis and a Quantum in port at the same time? Nope. I'll stay on the ship if I don't have an overwater bungalow at the Coco Beach Club. Too many people on that little rock at the same time.
Does it feel good to deal with adult things instead of Disney all the time?
It was a happy change of pace!
