Is Coco Beach Club WORTH IT? (Perfect Day at Coco Cay)

- Is Coco Beach Club at Perfect Day at Coco Cay worth it? I visited Coco Beach Club recently on a cruise on the Celebrity Reflection of Celebrity Cruises and found Coco Beach Club to be a huge shock. The price tag for a day at Coco Beach Club when you visit Perfect Day at Coco Cay is quite expensive. But is Coco Beach Club actually worth it? Amenities at Coco Beach Club include a large infinity pool, multiple bars, many loungers and umbrellas, a restaurant, and more. Should you pay so much extra to visit Coco Beach Club or are there enough free things to do on Coco Cay to make the price way too expensive? I tell you all of that and more in my Coco Beach Club review.

Thanks, Zach! Great review!!! Very informative. I'm booked on the adults only beach, but this one seemed great!
Great video - I've been to CCBC 3 times, and heading there again next month. This time there are 7 of us, so a cabana made sense. Like you said, check the price often!
Splitting that cost 7 ways makes it much easier to digest. Have a great time!!
While expensive, no doubt, it felt worth it for our family. Serene, quiet, outstanding service. AJ was the best concierge!
Hi Zach! Great review. We were on the same celebrity sailing and opted for hideaway beach. For the price we paid ($31/person) we thought it was absolutely worth it. I’d have a hard time justifying coco beach club for the price BUT I am more likely to consider now:)
Thanks Zac. We are going this month 22-228 DEC. Booked the club
Great review!!! Can't wait to return to the beach club!!
Great video Zach! I loved the Coco Beach Club. The pool was my favorite! The first time I went was on one of the first sailings of Wonder of the Seas. I got it for $80 on a Black Friday cruise planner sale.(back when they were good sales, lol). Not seen that in a while. Definitely worth the price.
I wish I could find it for $80. Glad you also enjoyed!
After watching so many videos on you tube, I felt that we have to try it. The food sounds amazing and we want to relax. This will be our first time at Coco Cay and I didn't want our first time there to be overwhelming with walking around everywhere trying to figure out where to "land" for the day. We booked the Beach Club for our upcoming Christmas Cruise on Symphony of the Seas.
Great video. It looked relaxing and gorgeous out there. If I had the funds, I would have booked it for my cruise next month. Can’t wait for your next adventure.😊❤
Love your vids
Thank you!! 😊
I was in Allure of the Seas that day for my birthday cruise. What a coincidence! Love Cocoa Cay, and specially the South Beach area with the floating bar.
I’m with you Zach, I will be booking my cruises to include Coco Cay. It was by far the best beach anywhere in the Caribbean.
Great video. Your vids always pack a lot of useful info that's appreciated. Two things, are diamond voucher drinks accepted at Coco Beach Club...and is there any snorkeling of any value there?
Thanks Zach!
We will be visiting coco cay in December on the apex and booked the beach club. When our itinerary first changed from labadee to coco cay, the beach club was around $300 CAD and it ended up going on sale for $119 CAD (about $88 USD). I’m so much more excited about going to coco cay now that we’ve booked the beach club. This is our first time for both coco cay and the beach club.
Booked the Beach Club every time. Love the meal, love the pool and peace and quietness
During the 3-day cruise that we took mid-September (we did B2B on the Reflection), we stopped in Coco Cay. We had never been to the island before, so I booked Coco Beach club ($158.99 pp) for many of the reasons that you mentioned (quiet, luxurious, great food). The comparison that you made regarding the Retreat on Celebrity is correct. We always book in the Retreat, and it does have the vibe that the ship lacks since there is no Retreat deck/pool on this ship. To be frank, Coco Beach Club was our favorite part of either short cruise we took in September. I’m glad that you enjoyed the time there, too!
Glad someone else agrees with that comparison. Thanks for sharing!
Now I wish our Christmas cruise on the Reflection stopped at coco cay. Would definitely try the beach club. Thanks Zach.
Any time!
Zach, great video..
I have never been to perfect day at Coke, but I think I would pay to go to the beach club, just to have a relaxing day and sample some of that great food that you had.
Great review, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
For sure it’s worth it! I would pay for the privacy and to be out of the chaos and screaming. We just got a special on our cruise next year for $113 PP and snatched it up very quickly.
Looking forward to that meal also
It definitely makes for a more relaxing day!
Great video Zach. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
I took my 14 year old daughter there in April, we loved it, the sit down lunch was great, weather was stunning, loved the pool
Great to hear!
Thank you for another very informative video
You bet!
Thanks Zach.
Not related to this video, but it's your most recent I think. On another vid you upgraded rooms & showed us the old room. It wasn't clear when/how the upgrade happened. Each cruise are you visiting guest services and requesting costs to upgrade? Or is it always pre-cruise? From experience, have you found much difference between meals at blu on different ships? For very similar costs, I can upgrade to aqua (just over $400) or splurge on the daily specialty dining package (around $350). I would never choose turkey bacon over pork bacon, so I have concerns about blu. Suggestions - if I'm fine with MDR - mainly considering so I can say I did it?
I love Coco Beach Club but typically look for a price point about $100 per person (unless I have onboard credit to use for it).
I adore the Beach Club at Coco Cay. I book it every time for a fantastic relaxing beach day with fabulous food and service. I’ll be there with my family the day after Thanksgiving and we splurged on a beach cabana! We will for sure be there all day to get our money’s worth.
That's great! It's the perfect way to spend a day.
I got a Black Friday deal for the beach club at $80 (I think) and it was worth every penny. Not overcrowded, nice beach, and a fantastic lunch. One of the benefits of so many cheap people in this world is most things that cost more are not overcrowded.
‘Cheap People?’ - says the person who bought this on a Black Friday deal.
@@casinoslots1234 key words there… “bought it.”
It looks beautiful and the lunch looks delicious. I already booked the Hideaway Beach. My daughter is 26 and I'm afraid she would be bored at Coco Beach. Hideaway Beach is adults only and a bit more upbeat. What do you think? Thanks, Karen
I’ve not been to Hideaway but have heard it’s like a big party. Loud music all day and lots more people. If she wants a relaxed day at the beach/pool with drinks and good food I’d recommend the Beach Club!
@ZachtheTravelingMan I only paid $49.99 pp for Hideaway and Coco is now $168 pp. If the price goes down I might consider it but as of now it's too much $$. Thanks.
Would anyone be able to tell me what’s the best cruise lines to go with?
I’ve heard Norwegian Cruiseline and H&S but I really don’t know what is considered good cruise wise.
I’d love to go somewhere different like cruise Portugal to Africa maybe or somewhere like this CocoBeach.
Also what should I want to have included in a cruise package. Factoring in cost and stuff.
I thought I saw on another vlog that they cap the amount of people at Coco Beach Club so it never feels super crowded. Do you know if that is true, Zach? Thanks
Yes that’s true!!
That is true! It can sell out.
@@ZachtheTravelingMan Thanks Zach! 😄
Are your Diamond drinks included?
I really enjoy your channel.
Glad you enjoy it!
Without having been there yet, I guess $160 incl. tax could be worth it, but would like to see if there is a lower price point. It might be worth it to try and book a cruise date that doesn't coincide with one of RCL's MEGA ships so that the pricing isn't so surged. Someone down below mentioned around $100 price point, which seems a bit more reasonable.
I think for that you’d have to visit during the week when it’s less likely the weekend mega ships (currently Utopia and Allure) will be there.
My wife and I are doing Reflection on Nov 1st...any idea how to easily figure out if there will be a Royal ship there with us...or is there always one there with a Celebrity ship? I already booked us into the coco beach club...was $168 a person.
Looks like you’ll be there with Utopia of the Seas, another mega ship!
Was to pool heated?
We cruise and go there in May 2025, it’s showing it’s $190 for us to book. We booked the adult only beach. That looks really nice though!
I’d pay what you paid, looks like it was worth it… I’ll get there one day 😊
Good video
Just booked it for $82.99.
Johnson Kimberly Gonzalez Gary Lewis Amy
Kids under 4 free. It’s worth it for Single parent cruisers as well with Kids under 4.
I would pay for it.
I booked it for my first solo cruise next year. Symphony and Wonder both in port and thought I would treat myself with the crowds
Got it for $138
Save yourself a lot of watching.....it's 20 minutes into the 22 minute video. He paid $149 for access to the club. ($300 for a couple)
Unless people wanted to see what the actual experience is like, Michael. And there’s more to worth than just actual cost, which is why I took the time to show my experience and then explain why I felt the cost was justified. But thanks for “saving” everyone else time. 👍
My opinion is that if you're going to Coco Cay for the first time, and it may be your only time, then skip this and enjoy the enitre island. The rest of the island is beautiful. There's enough to see to fill your day and plenty of free places to set down and enjoy the beach/water/really nice pool for a while. But, if you've seen all that and just want to chill, then this club my be just for you ;)
Just booked this for our wonder sailing in January. Black Friday sales put it down to $100 per person. I was paying $50 per person for hideaway. I think it’s definitely worth the extra $50 per person for this experience instead of hideaway.
