The TU-154 and TU-134 were good aircraft for their time, Very strong airframes that could operate on rough unpaved runways, Most accidents were down to pilot error or poor maintenance.
You are a genius, obviously the 747 has more fatality counts. BECAUSE IT LITERALLY HAS MORE PASSENGER COUNT (unless there arent many passengers or the plane itself isnt safe)
Actually, Russia is a stable region without war - conflicts arise in countries and regions surrounding Russia - usually instigated by Russia for their own gain. This is probably what you're confusing. Example, volatility and instability of regions in Georgia - pro-Russia breakaway states in Georgia allow Russia to lay claim to those regions or justify invasions or land-grabs. The exact same tactics were used to annex Crimea and ultimately "justify" a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. These breakaway states become entirely dependent on Russia, just look at South Ossetia or Chechnya. The Soviets were smart when they drew up regional borders. Anyway, regarding your claim that plane crashes are excessively high in Russia, this is simply not true. The Tu 154 is statistically a very safe commercial passenger jet, it's lengthy list of incidents and losses is simply due to the fact that the jet is so versatile and was used by literally all former soviet and allied countries. The aircraft could take-off from untarmaced runways in the most adverse weather conditions in the most remote and hazardous regional locations. With such a vast proportion of airliners exclusively using Tupolevs, the incidents and disasters list is naturally going to be longer. Regarding nuclear disasters, I can't really excuse the Soviet mismanagement of nuclear incidents. I could say it's nothing to do with Russia, as that was the Soviet Union - but that does feel quite petty of me. However, the Soviet Union were leading developers of nuclear power so again, incidents would be higher than those of countries that weren't excessively developing nuclear power. Statistically, Russia is historically one of the most stable countries in modern civilization - especially considering its vast size and ethnic/cultural diversity - regardless of whether or not you align with their ideology or how they achieve this. I mean, Russia protects its indigenous people and preserves their cultures - Muslims and Orthodox Christians coincide peacefully etc. What did the colonial powers do to the indigenous peoples of the Americas? The Russians also slogged through two world wars and essentially saved our asses. Undefeated. Also, there's a misconception that homosexuality is illegal in Russia. It's actually the promotion of homosexuality that's illegal, as Russia aims to preserve it's values and prevent itself from descending into a world of woke chaos as is currently happening in the West. IDK, hate Putin - but don't just blindly heed the Western propaganda against it as a whole 🤷🏻♂️
Aeroflot will forever go down as the unmatched worst in jetliner crashes and deaths. Since its inception to well into the 2000's this Russian Airline is the absolute worst and if I was a Russian I wouldn't be caught dead flying on one even today!!!
