Criminally under-rated band. the world needs more Savatage R.I.P. Cris. Try one of their songs that rock like Power of the Night , Beyond the Doors of the D. If you like a more of classical mixed with rock try Christmas Ever 12/24 you will probably recognize it
I dont think she understands what a power ballad is (no Disrespect ) But the vocals insane and the instruments to top it off brings back the good old days beers and a couple bong hits uhhhhhhh
Interesting, not a lot of YT reactors cover Savatage. However, I might have gone with some of Jon's Solo stuff instead. "Reality's Fool" and "Fireflies" are pretty good. Of course, Savatage are founding members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which sadly made them victims of their own success... suddenly their demographic shifted from Metal-heads to menopausal soccer-moms, lol. TSO isn't bad at all, but I do miss some of the older Savatage songs.
Savatage was done even without TSO. Paul and Jon said that Savatage never made money, they always lost money, and the success of TSO helped the band survive a little longer.
@@AaronTheMage - everyone's entitled to their opinion, even if it is wrong. You might not like the other albums, but the fact that they power one of the biggest money making tours on the planet shows that your opinion is in the minority.
Saw them in 86 w testament and nuclear assault great time this Corvette pulled up ad asked if we needed anything and opened a briefcase ful a everything spent 30 dollars wow what a show on acid the guitarists are playing trans Siberian orchestra
You'll never understand pure emotion in music because there is no music in your genre. Could play better guitar than anyone in your genre and I have arthritis

I do need to hear more from them :)
I had to record this song both sides of a tape so I could flip the tape and play it again and again and again. Back in the early 90s that was.
Nice!
This song does not suck.
:)

I am glad ithe song is that for you! :)
This song is a masterpiece as the most songs by this band.

I have yet to hear too much from them :)
Hall of the mountain king by Savatage is the zenith. Great album.
Only good album by TSO is Beethovens Last Night. By a WIDE margin

Its ok not to love bands that portray pure emotion rather just growls and lost live stories. Thats the listeners choice.
Thanks, yes :)
🩸🗝😎
This age just can’t get the lyrics but that’s ok. Savatage was never about what you think they’re saying.
Fair enough :)
That song is not representative of them. Their biggest song is probably Hall of the Mountain King. Much better
Okay, thanks for sharing :)

I am glad you know my genre. I don't, myself. :)
