This is the Crazy Alberto knot or just Alberto knot and it is one of the best knots you can tie in lines of similar diameters. The only knot that I have found to be stronger is the FG knot but it is a pain to tie with lighter lines.

I have used this knot for years but I found that if you go back through the original loop the opposite way it stops the first wrap from jumping off the mono while pulling the knot up tight.

I've seen this knot called Alberto knot. The Albright didn't have the reverse wind back to eye of the mono line.
@@AquaMarine1000 there is as also the improved albright but this is a great video and instruction well done i use a seaguar knot.
