Thank man - that is the idea :) I am also working on a new concept with 1 hour full immersion videos, taking you with me on streetphoto sessions. Check it out, thanks again, and have a super sunday! PS - also going Live on TH-cam today at 8:30 pm CET ;) hope to see you there!
Cheers for that - cant really let myself miss something like that ;) stay tuned for more awesome content. Also check out the latest video where i teach my girlfriend photography. Its funny :)
+Kevin Hussey great to hear Kevin! Testing a new concept of street photography now in my latest videos. Would be cool if you had a look and gave some feedback. It’s a developing concept :)
OMG!! I really love all your night shots. Do you mind sharing your settings for night shots on xt30 including the shutter speed, aperture, iso and etc? Thanks. 😊
Hey - thanks a lot :) I cant say for sure the settings in each photo. But for night photography I set ISO to auto with 3200 at max, then keep between f1,2 and 2,8. so I can have a fast enough shutter to feeze movements depending on what I shoot. I recommend going out there and try for yourself, see what works :)
loved your video especially because all i see with fuji is film simulations on tiktok and it seem just filters. You did silhouettes, long exposures, panning, portraits. Amazing. Wish you could tell your settings for each of these styles.
Hey there, thanks a bunch Marcelo! Ill make a mental note of that, then maybe ill do it in the future. Thanks for watching! All the best from South Africa
Obren E. Ndolo hey there - i just came back from Botswana actually. Just before all this corona virus craziness. I did make a video about it I think, but its really easy, just find the intervalometer in the menu, and voila, you’re good to go
Hey thanks a bunch - much appreciated! It is zoomed in post-production since I dont have sliders. I would imagine a lens zoom for timelapse would be quite difficult. Glad to see you here on my channel :)
Hey Aiden - well it is not weather sealed, so you gotta be a bit careful. A few raindrops wont do any harm i think, but its not recommended. A plastic bag can help if it rains heavily. And I wouldn’t shoot in heavy rain without protecting the camera
Great video daniel 👍🏻 I have a fuji xt30 too. I would like to know where do you edit your raw files? In lightroom the fuji raw files look noisy or have some kind of worms. Can you help me with this problem?
Thanks Vaibhav - I use lightroom with no problems. Have you checked your sensor? It might be dirty with spots from dust for example, if it is dusty where you are. It can sneak in even without changing lenses.
Hey mate... Is Fujifilm XT30 the best one for streetphotography with XF15-45mm kit lens within that price range ? I'm from India and professionally a Pharmacologist but I'm in love with Streetphotography . Need your advise.
I have no idea if its the best - I say the best camera is the one you have with you, if its your phone, thats also most likely a good camera. If you dont have a camera yet, start by using your phone to learn the basics! I have a ton of videos about getting started on the channel. Thanks for watching by the way, have a good day. Cheers from Oslo
Nice one man! I got the xt30 and now will be going on a trip to South Africa in like months. Would love to watch if you could make a video on tips n tricks of photography while on travel.
Abhishek Ranadive hey hey - thats awesome mate. Im in ZA now myself, and I love it here. In southern Africa every year. Ill certainly make a note of your suggestion, but first ive got to sort 5 months worth of wildlife footage from the bush of Botswana. Cheer for your comment :)
I’m going to ask a really annoying question: but, how do you get your photos to look so atmospheric and filmic? Do you put it through Lightroom, or is this straight out of the camera - no filter?
Hey Sophie, thanks for the question, I always edit in lightroom. However, the fujis gets great results dstraight out of camera with the film simulations. So much so that after swapping to Sony, I just recently (yesterday) got a new Fuji which is great. Cant wait to show you guys! Cheers for stopping by the channel by the way
@@DanielBryn oh cool, thanks for the reply. I also have an xt30, but I rarely use Lightroom lol or the film simulations; just have them straight out of the camera. Did you get the 100v which seems to be taking over?
Hey Thibo, Really cant say anything about the canon since ive never used it. Im sure its good thoug, but you really cant go wrong with the Fuji. I love the colour science they have, and they look way cooler as well ;)
@@MisterThibo Glad to hear, it is a very good camera! And welcome to my channel by the way - hope to see you around here in the future :) Have a good one!
Aperture mode, ISO auto, shutterspeed auto and compensate with exposure compensation. Just to make it easy and be ready to take the shot when opportunity presents itself
Great images bro, damn I miss Tokyo. On a side note, I'm loving your editing style now, you've definitely levelled up you melt. Got some serious work to do on my own vids this year ;-)
Thanks a bunch my man! Like we talked about, better quality going forward - got a feeling ill be going back there for more and better photos in the future 😬
Craig Pitts i might have to do some dodgy stuff to be able to pull it off 😂 but first i have to survive central kalahari. Got the permits yesterday, wohoo
It depends on exactly which photo you refer to, but I set ISO on auto to a maximum of 3200. Then adjust with exposure compensation. That way I can focus on the subject. The rest is done in post - for that I use lightroom
Hey there - I actually love shooting street with it. It is 85mm equivalent. It is a bit tighter, but you get used to it, and the bokeh you can get with this lens is truly amazing!
fred vuitton hey, thanks a bunch! Im in Botswana now, doing a very exciting photoproject on lions. This is my 8th year in a row here. Cool content coming up later this year
First video of 2020 - Let me know what you guys think of the photos!
Nice photos, maybe you can add some notes everyphoto like iso, shutter speed, exposure etc.
@@felixdecat8632 yep - ill make sure to do that in the future. And thanks :)
The Panasonic S1 and Panasonic S5 are on my shopping list and the Fuji X-30 looks absolutely amazing

Nope - I have the bokeh of the XT4 now (upgraded) and thanks for stopping by, appreciate it

Good stuff - aperture priority mostly, then auto ISO. Give it a spin, see what works best for you

how is auto focus working in the night? ok??
Everything with AF at night struggles more. Find some light to focus on that is the same distance as youre subject, and youre golden my friend!
U make cool content! Tnx!
Hey thanks a bunch :) loads more coming!
I've been struggling with capturing with fuji in low light. Is the f1.2 56mm lens key to assisting with additional light in low light?
Hello - no. it doesnt add any light, it works better in lowlight conditions by letting in more light. So if you want a faster lens, it helps.
Great content bro! What lense did you use when you were in Ginza?
Mostly the 56mm f1.2 mate - and the smaller 23 f2.0. great setup for streetphotography right there
Nice video 👌🏽
Would you recommand me XT30 or canon 850d ?
