Incredible how much The Great One's 10th year cards go for. Wow, the 1980 Topps PSA 10 only has a pop of 1! I agree with you on the price of this card. The owner can pretty much name his price! Enjoyed this Gretzky episode! Thanks for sharing. Take care and be safe!
Yeah, absolutely nuts when you think about it as a tenth year card haha 😂😂😂 I'm keeping an eye out and wanna see that PSA10 resurface sometime. Thanks for watching Cason!
Nice video. Gretzky was my dad's favourite player. He is only missing 2 of the cards you showed but he doesn't have any PSA 10 cards. Thanks for sharing. That was a GREAT video of the GREAT ONE.
Thanks Johnny! Glad you enjoyed it. It was fun looking through each year of the 1980s to make that video. I grew up in San Diego and Gretzky coming to the Kings was one of the main reasons I got into hockey as a kid, as San Diego isn't much of a hockey town. Sounds like your dad has quite the Gretzky collection. Thanks for watching!
Great presentation. Obviously a great collection of cards here. I’ve never really been a fan of the ‘87 design but, I always liked the shot of Gretzky that year. It doesn’t surprise me the pop count being low for the ‘82. I’ve opened enough of these to realize that centering is extremely difficult in this set. It also doesn’t surprise me that the pop on the 1980 is low due to the fact that the scratch off area is usually marked but, I am shocked that there is only one PSA 10. That’s incredible!!! Again I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing
Thanks David. Love hearing your feedback on some of these older sets! I've ripped some baseball and football from the 80s and have an idea of the quality control for certain sets but it's fascinating hearing feedback from someone that has ripped these 80s hockey sets! Thanks for watching!
Wow I can’t believe there is only one!! I have this topps card and mine is not scratched but PSA Charges so much money now that I wonder if mine or others have this card and are not getting it graded because of this reason.
Great video! I have the 1980 tops card. It's not graded, but I would say it's close to a 10 for sure. Between a 9-10. Great to see this one has good value! Thanks for this amazing video!
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed the video! That's cool, I wish I had even a raw copy of that Gretzky. Any thoughts on submitting yours for grading? Appreciate the feedback John and welcome to the channel 👍

Wow. thanks for this. I can't believe it. I have most of these cards (no rookie sadly). Never knew they were that high for some of these base. Of course are they PSA 10? Probably not

I recommend contacting the grading companies first but I would assume it wouldn't be any different then shipping them from the states. You want to put each card in a soft sleeve, inside of a semi-rigid holder like a card saver one. Then secure the cards in between two sturdy pieces of cardboard. I would insure the package and I'm sure the only difference coming from Canada would be having to through customs. Hope this helps and feel free to comment back if you need anymore help 👍

That's a tough one. That has always been a gray area to me.
