@nick chatterton i honestly wish Thomas Wayne’s Batsuit was the official suit of Bruce Wayne. With the vampire like bladed shoulders and demonic red eyes...he actually looks inhuman. I had an idea some years back about an Alternate Batman who exiled himself from Gotham to go on a 2nd training expedition, but this time studying magic and his moniker changes from “The World’s Greatest Detective” to “The World’s Greatest Magician”. I always imagined Thomas Wayne’s Batman being what he would look like upon completion of his training. This was at the start of the whole Dark Knight’s metal arc and I was trying to come up with my own Batman for fun lol
Me too I would personally have a dark and deep suit it would be more shocking to enemies Like just imagine turning around and seeing someone 6’2 looking down at you in a dark suit
I’m completely torn when it comes to picking my favorite bat suit. The dark blue/ black cowl with the grey suit is amazing, but so is the rebirth as well as the most recent.
Technically the suit was always supposed to be black and gray and due to the printing restrictions of the early days they used Blue to highlight shades of darkness. Over time artists just started coloring him blue and grey. My favorite suit is the all black suit from the 90’s. Batman was awesome in Morrison’s justice league of America run!
Very similar to the colouring on spider man. In amazing fantasy, his first appearance, he was supposed to be black and red, with blue as the highlights. Eventually artists and colourists just began making him blue
Just another reason The Batman is perfect is that his cape was actually used against him. The movie acknowledged the negatives of it while also keeping its strengths
I wish the film would have acknowledged the fact that he's one of the most accomplished martial artists in the DC universe, and that one of his primary disciplines was ninjutsu.
@@hardyharharv In the prequel book it said he traveled the world for his training as well...the only excuse I could think of for them presenting us with such an incompetent Batman, is that casual fans find a watered down Batman more accessible, than the guy in comics who has mastered pretty much everything.

I'm a fan of the versions without the underwear because they look more like armor to me. So New 52, Rebirth and even the Jace Fox Future State one. I know Future State isn't that great but the suit looks great. And Bruces Future State one is awsome as well with the more guerilla warfare style. In this video you went over the suit and cape now you also need to talk about cowl.
Me personally, I love the Year One suit, it is so simple yet so well drawn that i could stare at the same panel in the comic all day Side note: I also love the New 52 suit, the armored plate design has always had a place in my heart
Something else I remember hearing his cape does is hide his body. I'm mainly thinking of Arkham Origins Blackgate where this was displayed against Deadshot. He tried to shoot Batman, but wound up shooting his cape instead. I'd also imagine this helps Batman better blend into the shadows too (sometimes this is portrayed in media more well than others).
Another add on for the cape, outside of gliding, stealth, and hiding his body: It also hides his hands when he has it furled around himself. If he’s confronted, he could secretly draw weapons or equipment from his belt and most enemies would be none the wiser. He could draw a batarang or two and catch someone completely unaware by flinging his cape open and just tossing his batarangs.
@@SilasGrieves This. Batman's main tactic is surprise, shock and awe. And him being able to still surprise in the heat of an actual battle even with all eyes on him is an immense advantage. Usually when you confront someone you watch their hands to see what they're doing. Hence police constantly saying "Let me see your hands" when they approach a suspect. Batman can make his hands disappear within his cape, and he has multiple tactics to go from there. Smoke bombs, batarangs, whatever he needs for the situation to turn to his favor. And yes, it does help you blend in. The main thing you want to do with camouflage is to break up the profile of the person/object you want hidden. Eyes are drawn to human figures, and Batmans' outline can be easily broken up in the darkness.
I think my all time favorite batman suit that I’ve seen is the Batman beyond suit from the Arkham knight game. The all black with glowing red looks so damn good. I’ve always loved the black with red accents on things, but for Batman it’s a whole different intimidating factor that works very well for him.
I like the 90's blue cape/ black suit because it's what I saw as a kid. Speaking of the yellow around the bat symbol actually has another purpose, to not frighten kids.
My favorite suit is the new The Batman practical looks badass and looks like a combo of all the batsuits put together also with a new batman starting off look. I'm so proud to say a great batman film came out in my time.
The black on grey suit from The New Batman and Robin Adventures is my favorite non live action suit, its a fully matte suit which works best for working in the shadows.
My favorite suit is the dark grey bodysuit, yellow capsule belt, yellow oval, with dark blue (or black) cape, cowl, gloves, boots and trunks. Neal Adams Batman. Second favorite, the same suit, except with the pouch belt and large black bat symbol. Jim Lee Batman.
Batman Arkham Origins Suit imo was and is THE BEST looking. It has a very Mil-Spec/Tactical-Utilitarian look and functionality that I just adore! It also has a patch-work overall aesthetic that makes it look like a combat suit that is very grounded in reality I'll even go as far to say that the Robin Patterson Batsuit takes a lot of inspiration from Arkham Origins Batsuit. The patchwork layers have a blend of that Nomex Kevlar liners with armored plating over it for the chest, thighs, neck, shoulders, and shins. I personally have two favourites, the well known '40s and '50s one in the comics and a rare one from the '60s comics, that one is like the standard '60s style Batsuit but the blue areas are a much darker blue more like a midnight blue, and the grey areas are a dark charcoal grey with the standard yellow belt and emblem, the ears on the cowl are slightly longer, but not as long as the original Batsuit cowl. This design was only used in a few Batman stories at the time, and also in adverts within some '60s Batman and Detective comic issues.
I really prefer the new 52 batsuit as it just look so clean and very slick. As a big fan of the BTAS and the JLU series the new 52 suit is a nice updated modern take on that batman suit!!

"Sky Winch Batman" was the Keaton Toy design, after the 1989 Movie except that the colors were the classic blue and grey but very dark. I LOVE the look of that suit. The 1989 costume, done in a Charcoal Grey, Navy Blue and a little Gold for the belt and emblem. BEAUTIFUL!!
I kinda like the Batman inc. suit. It sorta looks like a more realistic take of the animated series suit. As are the Arkham suits. Though the Arkham Asylum and Arkham City suits were purposefully designed to be a translation of the animated series suit, in order to farm good will from the potential players. And finally, I also like the Arkham Knight suit, the one that enables him to do fear takedowns. I actually hated the Arkham Knight suit at first, because it looked too much like armor, but a few years later I got myself a PS4 and played the game, fully intending to change the character skin, but I ended up loving the suit when I saw it in my own play session.
I personally like the Arkham Knight suit best, but after that, i like the Bale suit. Regardless of how badass batman is, at the end of the day, he's a normal human, so armor is necessary. I do wish that there were suits that would be more realistically colored and patterned to make him blend in though, because in reality he wouldn't blend into shadows very effectively in all black or all grey
Please go through a Batsuits video! And my favorite is actually one of my own design that’s an amalgamation of the Arkham video game series suits with several integrated gadgets that I plan to add on top of the ones on the belt. Videos will be made and posted, I assure you lol
I think the best Bat Suits are the most practical while keeping the symbology. Bruce always tries to upgrade his wardrobe in way that is more than a fashion statement, wheather it to be armor, agility, stealth capabilities, technology or even complimenting the gadgets he already uses. The Batsuit is the center of those gadgets and Bruce wants it to be about efficiency as much as symbolism.
Hi casual bat fan here don't want to sound like a dork , but Batman cape is used as a form of psychological warfare too. The cape's dark colors hides Batman size/shape. He appears smaller than he is from a distance and he when pulls it back he shows off his real build. The cape also hides his hands from his enemies bats always his hands near his belt to get a bat rang ready. So bats is like cowboy in the old west hands near his guns ready for a quick draw .
Me personally, I like the usually grey bodysuit with black It feels the most intimidating and it’s also pretty recognizable I don’t mind the dark blue suits tho, kinda like Batman Hush
I honestly always assumed Batman's cape was made out of the slipperiest material known to science, otherwise I don't know why everyone wouldn't immediately try to grab it in the middle of combat. I feel like it would make sense if it were made out of material that literally just slips out of your hands kind of like how water slips off hydrophobically treated materials. As far as best Bat suit goes, however, I really really love the style of the form fitting plated suits you see in Arkham Origins, Arkham Knight, and The Batman. They just feel like what a real Batman would probably wear, cutting edge smart armor that also carries some of that gray and black style of the original design.
Just imagine if Batman adapted the kamen rider drive technology, especially for the beyond incarnation of the caped crusader. It would be glorious even if copyright laws would make it unlikely at best from ever happening
Black cape and cowl with dark inlayer. Grey bodysuit with black armor mixed into one suit(like the Noel suit or the Arkham Knight suit). Long ears(like the Beyond suit). Very practical and realistic looking belt. Extremely long cape to make him resemble Spawn a bit. White eyes(can turn red when he needs more intimidation factor) that pierce through the darkest corners to scare his victims. Every mentioned inlayer of the bodysuit and armor and cape and cowl + lead and heat regulators in both things for harder detection through x-ray and heat detection. Symbol a bit of a mix between Dark Knight, Inc., Rebirth, 1989 and with a colour change just for fun and can be detached like in The Batman. Mouth piece can be covered up(Gotham Knight where he fights Scarecrow and Killer Croc or how it looks like with the beyond suit in Arkham Knight). Cape can detach the moment people like Bane use it to play ragdoll with Batman. Belt buckle is a sword hamdle(The Brave and the Bold). And every gadget we ever see him use in the Arkham games.
Underwear is actually a black armor piece on grey suit. Ears can be fired as projectiles(like we see in the comics.) Multiple small pockets everywhere with small gadgets in case he loses his belt. Voice modular with the most demonic and intimidating voice for the bad guys(Joker, Waller, simple goons) but a more friendly one for the good guys(Gorden, Bullock, Superman, Lex). Mini Batsignal like in The Batman series. Small pours in the suit, cape, edges of the mouthpiece that spill fake blood that can not be identified as fake or as real and disappears after a certain time depending on the chemicals cause seriously he has to life up to the Vampire identity right? Small Green Kryptonite shards in the gauntlets just in case…Zod…visits… Cannot be filmed and if can the pictures are cursed and you can only see some kind of demon(like at the end of Arkham Knight). Small capsules of very very little fear toxin in the armor for an even more surreal intimidation factor.
@@star.master_cranium I like a lot of the ideas you have for your Batman. I always thought it would be cool to see Batman use more of his rogues gadgets and technology, like Scarecrow's Fear Gas. Of course they wouldn't be as harmful or lethal under Batman
I prefer the “dark” Batsuits myself. Mostly black, maybe with some gray. I find these suits the most intimidating.

I do wish that there were suits that would be more realistically colored and patterned to make him blend in though, because in reality he wouldn't blend into shadows very effectively in all black or all grey
I do like the Batman, such an interesting character.
Arkham knight batsuit is everything I love in a batsuit. I do like the BvS suit tho for how simple and comfy it looks
Thanks for the the info. Much ❤ as always
The 1970’s to 90’s suit and the Troika all black suit are my favorites. Give me long ears and a yellow oval any day.
Please go through a Batsuits video! And my favorite is actually one of my own design that’s an amalgamation of the Arkham video game series suits with several integrated gadgets that I plan to add on top of the ones on the belt. Videos will be made and posted, I assure you lol
My hands down favourite suit is his dark knight returns, can't tell you why but i'm a fan of the small ears and beefy bat symbol.
My favorite is the hellbat armor, would love to see it in a video
My favorite is the black and yeallow. And i "The Batman" one too but the others are cool too.
Can you cover Red Death, great work loving the vids
Bro, all some of them Batsuits from da Arkham Series were awsome!
The Light Blue & Grey will always be my bat suit
Hi casual bat fan here don't want to sound like a dork , but Batman cape is used as a form of psychological warfare too. The cape's dark colors hides Batman size/shape. He appears smaller than he is from a distance and he when pulls it back he shows off his real build. The cape also hides his hands from his enemies bats always his hands near his belt to get a bat rang ready. So bats is like cowboy in the old west hands near his guns ready for a quick draw .
N52 is my favorite, with Rebirth being my second.
Me personally, I like the usually grey bodysuit with black
It feels the most intimidating and it’s also pretty recognizable
I don’t mind the dark blue suits tho, kinda like Batman Hush
I like the Batman Gaslight suit the best. More raw and less theoretical tech.
your lucky dude amazon is still in the pre order stage for that cool book in can🍁
I honestly always assumed Batman's cape was made out of the slipperiest material known to science, otherwise I don't know why everyone wouldn't immediately try to grab it in the middle of combat.
Haha that's a great point! Yeah those more realistic suits are the best. I just love Afflecks suit!
Just imagine if Batman adapted the kamen rider drive technology, especially for the beyond incarnation of the caped crusader. It would be glorious even if copyright laws would make it unlikely at best from ever happening
The New 52 and Batfleck suit are my favorites
Do one about batman's most worst injuries that he survive
Good suggestion!
Could you do a video on a real-life version of the batman cape that would allow to glide? It's an interesting topic I think
Ever just feel good mentally when you put something on, that's what the suit does for him.
Arkham City suit will always go down as my all time favorite suit
my favorites not mentioned here
its hell bat armor batman beyond and stealth suit
Capes...No Capes! This was explained and demonstrated in The INCREDIBLES.
Another banger! Thanks man!
Ears can be fired as projectiles(like we see in the comics.)
Multiple small pockets everywhere with small gadgets in case he loses his belt.
Small Green Kryptonite shards in the gauntlets just in case…Zod…visits…
Cannot be filmed and if can the pictures are cursed and you can only see some kind of demon(like at the end of Arkham Knight).
The Arkham universe suits are gorgeous and pretty advanced as well.
For me it is always the Michael Keaton all black suits, the 89. version more than the one from Batman Returns (the 89. suit is my all time favourite)
The Dark Knight Returns is easily one of my favorite suit styles
Gray and black suit is the most practical for me
Batman Beyond suit is by far my fav!!!
