That makes sense....I found it when I was helping to clean out an old family friend's house. I wondered what is was originally designed for. Works great as a pick.
Hi Lee - thanks for your question. This is really tools used for common around-the-house fix things type work - it's not for a dedicated professional tradesperson. It basically solves the problem of running back and forth to your garage/basement/workshop to grab that other tool you forgot to grab. So, I grab it when I'm headed to my parents house, my daughter's college apartment, or when something isn't working around the house. An IKEA box arrives, I grab the bag. Make sense? In my next video, I'll show two other bags that I keep next to it - one for electrical work and one if I will be drilling or driving screws.
Ha ha....it looks like it would be heavier. It's only 21 pounds (9.5 kg) so it's not too bad. The shoulder strap helps if I'm carrying it a distance. If I carried it everyday to a jobsite, etc. then I would probably work on making it even lighter.
Nice set up. Basic but everything you need.
Thanks Mike...anything I'm missing that you would add?
good video, noticed your business card, i work for GE out of Louisville.
No way!
Great bag of tools. Been watching tool bag videos for a while, not too many people include vice grips which is nice to see.
Thanks!
Good thing he decided to put vice grips in the bag otherwise youd d be lost and not know what to do
Nice bag that scraper you have is called a card scraper and they come in different thicknesses. The thicker they are the more aggressive they cut.
Thanks - I couldn't think of the name of it when the camera starting rolling :)
Really cool! I’m going to fix up my tool bag
Thanks!
Great Video
Thanks!
That little pick looks like a walnut tool for getting the nut out of the shell

@@ToolBagDave It is part of a holiday nut set there would have been an ols style matching cracker.
Glad to see you always carry your kneepads.
Ha Ha...good one!

What type of work do you do to need this type of bag and tool setup?
