@@Ryan_Thompson_Guitarist I know this one, there was also a song on Mystification album called Death by the Hammer, which has a very similar riff to Set The World Afire, but it came out a year before SFSGSW. Except that Mustaine had this riff in 1984. However, I doubt Shark was ever at a Megadeth concert to hear it.
noticed this one a while back: Testament - The Haunting, 0:31 vs KAT - W bezkształtnej bryle uwięziony, 0:36. that KAT album feels really Testament-inspired, and this riff is identical 😄
There is a similarity between Disposable heroes' rıff ın 32 nd second and We'll back's rıff ın 3:33rd second. It is almost same thing, but I don't thınk Mustaine stole it after 30 years. maybe It is some sort of tecnique or Mustaine wrote that riff first
@@Triumph1984 İ listen to one of the kıko's interview and he told that riff is from dave's old notes that he wrote riffs there and he wrote its name as a he wolf. But the similarity of the licks make me think like that
@@theomanasidis6693 The slide at the end is the same, but I think it's such a common type of riff that there was no inspiration here, but maybe one day I'll use it.
Amazing 🤩
Great video. It would be interesting to compare the main riff of Black Sabbath's 'Paranoid' (1970) and Half Life -'Get Down' (1969).
Here's one:
Angel Witch - Angel of Death (Intro Riff)
Manilla Road - Dreams of Eschaton (1:56)

Tornado of Souls by Megadeth and Slow Down by the Beatles has a surprisingly similar intro😂
You should compare Hair of the dog (Nazareth) to Day Tripper (The Beatles)

Shameless from Metallica haha
Yeaaah!
Ask James about how he completely co-opted Pepper Keenan’s vocal style.

@@Russel968 The rhythm is a little different, She-Wolf had a more similar riff to Disposable Heroes.

Chris Poland - Heinous Interruptus, after first 10s/sad but true main riff.
Also, Black Sabbath - War Pigs at 1:45/MOP intro.
Maybe Black Sabbath - Fluff and Metallica - Nothing Else Matters (both at 0:00)
Kinda reminds me of Minus Human
You should compare
Sacred Reich - Death Squad 1:36
and
Sodom - Agent Orange 1:03

Compare megalomania 3:23 to Orion 1:42
What about Shining stealing theyr own riffs? Lol
@@brenomordida I've never heard of them, can you tell me more.
@Triumph1984 it's a black metal band
