Sonia E thought the exact same thing. A very sweet man.. Reminded me of my grandfather who would bring down steaks and fries every Friday to homeless folks here in Indianapolis.. They called him the "rich nice guy". Little did they know he was far from a rich man.. Not rich with money but he was rich with life and love.
Guys.....if something ever happens to you, scratch, bite, pull hair, anything to get DNA, on your body, to get justice, plus if your body is buried, they would have explain their wounds.
Prevention is the key: DO NOT HAVE the same ROUTINE every day. If sb follows you, try to take a picture of the person on your phone. Do not walk alone in the dark and don't park your car far pro monitored areas. While walking, hold your KEYS between your fingers as a weapon if sb attacks you. Also, having a PEPPER SPRAY spray in your bag and holding it while walking is a good tactic. MAKE your HOUSE SAFE: have CCTV cameras around, assure that all windows in the basement have bars on them so nobody can break inside! (my house was robbed, I know this too well :'( ) Instal alarm into your hall close to the entrance to your house or flat. Make sure that you have keys inside of your bedroom and bathroom so you can lock inside if there is an intruder! KEEP your PHONE CHARGED and close to you so you can take it. If kidnapped, try to stay calm, drop your shoes, socks etc. as a clue to be traced, talk to the kidnapper to slow him down and find information about himself LEARN how to RUN! Running fast is the best defence! Good luck to you all, I hope you won't need any of these irl
there are many different tactics, some win the fight, some have been killed because they fought back (escalating violence), he may think he has to kill you once you have his dna under your fingernails, he may think you've won and that point and decide it is not worth it. if there was a one fits all solution women would not be dying. It is easier to kill someone than defend yourself against someone intent on killing you. They choose their most opportune moment and your least opportune moment.
It is messed up that a family friend who the kids would let in the house or could have stolen the key who was picked up in the area, was bloody, had a knife and was picked out af a lineup was never charged. What about the hair? That one pisses me off.
I'm very surprised why the Singaporean police couldn't solve this?? You cannot even chew gum in Singapore (I agree with this, just look at the footpath in any busy area, in any town/city in any country, those small black spots all over the ground are spat out gum! Ugh! Disgusting, along with ciggie butts, people are full blown gross!) This particular crime needs a cold case review, I am so glad they managed to have another child, I am sending them my 'virtual' love and wishes. xx
That killer will burn in hell! Haha! The laughs on him! May he have demonic dreams every waking hour and experience a slow, tortuous, agonizing death! He'll get his, one way or another! Too bad that event cant be advertised!😠
All of the kids gathered up into the bathroom and slaughtered. Then piled on top of each other one by one. So brutal. So horrifying for those children. So goddamn disgusting. It’s too sad.
#1 is heart wrenching! Lee Mei Ying and her husband having another child when the evil monster who murdered their four children had never been caught...they must have lived in constant fear that their fifth child would be murdered. I can't imagine that kind of torment.
I wonder if they still are in contact with the guy that the kids would call Uncle. If I were them and make sure I wasn't in contact with that person. I'd also would have moved cities away. It's so terrifying.
I agree as it says in wikipedia that the parents were addressed by their nicknames on the letter which suggests a close connection! I also suspect that it might've been a rival business or resentful employee as they seized operating their mini-bus service right after!
The fact that Mary Reker felt that she had reason to fear for her life that could help prove that the monk did it. Maybe Mary had said that she was going to expose him and he threatened to kill her if she did. The monk did pass a polygraph, but those can be beat. A lot of Christian monks are familiar with meditation which could help someone remain calm enough to pass the polygraph.
You can no no longer (in the US) be asked to take a polygraph for a job in the public sector and they can not be used in court. This is because they are a joke. You have to agree to take one under any circumstances. Never submit to one for any reason. No defense attorney would allow it.
Kaylee F Yeah, passing the polygraph is not an absolute assurance. A good liar can do that and that monk was a pro at that. It's just frustrating that Mary didn't write the killer's name in her diary.
Kaylee F they're notoriously inaccurate haha. It's much more likely for a nervous person to trigger a false positive than it is for a killer or trained spy to not be calm and collected enough to easily bluff it. Most of the time they'll get inconclusive results and not tell the subject and just lead them into being nervous and spilling the beans or false confessions. It's not admissable as evidence and there's a lot of cases of people who were definitely guilty beating it. So you're definitely right about that. Plus, people give way too much benefit of the doubt to people with church roles, even though it's a haven for horrible pedophiles
jessica mendez ME TOO!!! How don't they have more subscribers? I have never heard most of the crimes he discusses so now I'm really hooked! These videos are so well done.
for number 1; if the eldest boy had a chunk of the killers hair then couldn't they have cross examined it with the family friend? it would make so much sense for the killer to be the friend because i really doubt the murderer entered with a key. If he was so close that the kids called him uncle then it would make sense for him to knock on the door and for them to just open it...? and the killer knew that the mum had gotten sterilized...? urghhhhh I'm so angry right now, because i really think the guy was the killer but the police just let go of him
I wondered the same thing, about the hair. Maybe, at the time, a suspect was not required to turn over DNA, if they were not already under arrest. Or, it could be that they didn't have adequate DNA testing then, to conclusively match him? It is mysterious that the police didn't follow up on the "uncle".
The issue with hair is that you need the tiny white bulbs to extract any DNA from it to test from. If the hair had not been pulled cleanly from the scalp and broke before getting the little bulb (I think it's called the follicle? I don't remember the name, it's been some time) then unfortunately there is really no way they can use the hair for DNA testing. I'm not sure about the quality of the hair sample that they had but it's possible that might've been the case
If the 'uncle' had a chunk of hair missing it would be a dead giveaway Unbelievable how that's considered 'not enough evidence', between the Cab Driver's eye witness statement, recognizing him in a lineup and it just so happens to be the guy that would know personal details about the family? More than enough evidence for a deeper investigation if you ask me
Sad content, awesome video, stories that have not been recycled ten million times. Thank you for giving victims who might otherwise be forgotten some attention too. I love this channel!!!! From the Southwestern United States.
Zach right?! I just found them through my recommend list five or six days ago and they were at 30k subscribers.. and are already at almost 40k now. Good content will get itself noticed sooner or later, but I really wish I'd run across them sooner - awesome research and stories.
Babes in the Woods, is sad. And if I witnessed a man & a woman come back out of the woods alone, the woman with blood on the one shoe....I would be taking down their license plate number or sneakily following them, somehow.
The murder of the Tan siblings is one of the most famous crimes in Singapore's history (especially since we don't get many crimes to begin with and violent crimes are especially rare). And to this day, people still burn joss sticks and leave offerings (usually flowers and small toys) at the children's graves, particularly during Qing Ming (also known as the Tomb Sweeping Day, which occurs on the 15th day from the Spring Equinox) and the Hungry Ghost Month (the seventh month in the lunar calendar, during which Chinese believe that the realms of the spiritual world - Heaven and Hell - will open, permitting the deceased to visit their living relatives). The children's tombs are quite a sight to see during those times.
B Snow Impossible that the parents would kill four of their child like that without any reason. Also they were out at the time of the murder so they have an alibi.
The one where Sue played dead had me wanting to hear more stories of people who played dead to get away from their attackers! Please look into doing a video like that!
I've seen many similar channels but by far this is the most interesting and informative. Covered many cases I haven't heard about before. You guys deserve more subscribers. Keep up the good work! :) (And sorry for my bad english)
I honestly am more saddened when siblings die together especially when they are the parents only children it’s bad enough to lose one child but it’s hard to imagine losing multiple children
Leetarvius Franklin I just found it and am hooked as well! I thought Rob Dyke and Cayleigh Elise were awesome until I found this channel. They just don't compare.
CZ Velasco oh, that would be a good one.. and, they tend to look for more obscure cases, so I think it goes without saying. I know I've stumbled onto more than a handful of medical killers that had pretty big numbers [a lot of them working with babies and kids] that I'd never have learnt about had I not gotten nosy.
So number 4. A witness saw a couple with two boys, father holding a hatchet, then the same couple with no children, blood on the shoe and the other shoe missing... and didnt say anything to anyone? Well, perhaps didnt want to assume the worst, but cmon, police listened to this statement and didn't think it's VERYY similar? I mean they found a single shoe in the forest, two children, hatchet, blood....
This saddens me ! I can't believe people are capable of such torment and extreme killing. Over kill if you will. It's just so sad to listen and watch these videos but all I want is justice for these families that suffer each and every days. No it does not get better. I'm sorry it just doesn't.
My mom and her siblings went to school with the Reker girls. It’s a story I have been told many times growing up. As someone who is born and raised in that area it’s been no secret that the community feels the Monk was guilty and his involvement was covered up by fellow members of the monasary, Catholic Church, etc. The community has not forgotten these girls and I hope their family gets the answers they deserve someday.
Seriously this channel is the absolute best. I think the theory of the mother killing the two unidentified boys is probably correct, and she probably did it for a man. I've seen my fair share of stories of unwed women adopting out their small children so that they could get married during that point in history, as men often refused to take on someone else's child back then. If the mother was desperate and cold-hearted enough then murdering her children probably seemed like a good option to her. She probably even justified it to herself somehow, which is why she covered one of them with her coat.
I'm wondering if maybe the parents couldn't afford them anymore, so instead of putting them up for adoption, murder seemed better. Weak and lame excuse, I know, but it wouldn't be the first time.
I just don't see a mother doing that with an axe idk I just can't see it. That's more of a mans job I think she was involved But I think the dad or boyfriend did the job.
more like a family argument gone wrong or the witness made up the story, who sees a man with an axe and a woman with blood on her shoe and does not report it?
I discovered your channel 3 days ago and I've been obsessed ever since!! I can't stop binge watching your videos!! Awesome channel, keep up the great work 🙌🏼❤️
Arcelia Hernandez I know I did the same thing when I found it lol I still watch often just hard to find videos I'm interested in on the page that I haven't watched already
With regards to the last case of the four siblings, how is it the police have a man covered with blood, carrying a knife around the time of the murders and knew the family, and can't get enough evidence? That makes NO sense!!
The police knew who Uncle was but he had connections with the triads or it was beleived he did. They didn't want to mess with that. He was a dangerous man.
I love how you post videos of cases I've never heard of before! I'm going to make some pancakes and binge older videos of yours. I would say I was going to smoke a blunt and do it but the last time I said that I had about 40 commenters telling me that I was a bad person. Lol anyways your videos are always awesome!!
Emmie J blunts over pancakes for me! I'm one of the rare few who doesn't get munchies, though; and, since I just binge watched all their videos, I remember that thread. You better watch your handling of the devil's lettuce, now!!
lol I love blunts AND pancakes!! Where were you awesome people about two videos ago when I got literally a 45 reply thread arguing over whether marijuana was bad for you or not... comments probably all left by like 11 times year old TH-cam commenters lmao
This is one of the best channels I have ever found. You cover so many cases that I have never heard of, and that is amazing. I really hope you get more subscribers!
Found this channel this morning and have been binge watching ever since. The fact that I haven't heard about any of these cases is really impressive. Love your videos and glad I stumbled across them. :)
keep true crime on TH-cam. gathering and putting information out that helps solve crimes (old and new) is a very important thing. Criminally Listed keep doing your thing.
I just can't imagine how sick/evil someone could be to hurt innocent children. I like that you are keeping these stories alive, always hoping that it could spark someone's memory.
Oh my God the last one hurt my heart so much. I have a daughter and i cant imagine losing her. This couple lost 4 and was getting taunting mail from the killer. The rest of their life must have been so miserable.
The music, narration and theme is very professional and the good quality pictures describing each personal event around the cases of tradgedy is what makes Criminally Listed a favourite channel of mine. I've watched it grow in subscribers and hope it continues. It's good to be made aware of these victims as horrific as they are. Thankyou for bringing awareness to these people who can no longer speak up for themselves xxx 🙏💖🙏
Love this channel. I've seen similar, but this is the best. Thank you for going the extra mile & making these videos interesting & informative. Great work 🤗
The first case: I live an hour from Toukley and knew nothing about it. I just read that the mother didn't attend the funeral because she was so upset. It's scary to know that killers walk amongst us
I haven’t listened for some time due to just being busy. The evolution of his delivery skills has been amazing. Well done! Every video your delivery has gotten better. I didn’t even know it was the same reader! 🙌🏻
So happy I found this channel!!! It's great you use not so heard of cases and not just repeat the same boring stuff and you don't just focus on American crimes :). Being interested in true crime for over 20 years it's rare to hear a story you have never heard of before and you surprise me nearly every ep with a case/cases I have never heard of. Keep up the great work, awesome channel!!!!!!!
i'm a big fan of this gem of a channel, here are some topic suggestions (the titles probably aren't "perfect" of course, they are more about the ideas themselves): - unsolved murders by means of unusual/bizarre ways of poisoning. - unsolved murders with supposed victims in several different countries all around the world/unsolved murders involving far-travelling serial killers. - crimes that were solved by unbelievable coincidences or incredible luck.
Wow, another great video. The last story is particularly disturbing. You guys are doing great. I'm awed, your subscription count has doubled since I last watched you guys! You had just more than 6,000 when I joined.
I love this channel!! you do a great job making these videos! You take what TV shows make a strung out boring 45 minute show into a 15-30 minute video and it's so much more interesting with more information! GREAT JOB!!
Your channel is the only channel I've ever been really excited to see has uploaded a video and I look forward to weekly. You're getting more popular too! Very worthy! 😊
I love the murder mystery/missing persons/all things strange channels & community so much. I have seen several criminally listed videos, but I have finally decided it is a perfect fit & subscribed. always happy to find new creative, interesting & informative content! Thanks for creating.
Oh my gosh, I remember Zayre's. Wow, that is from way back. I know it still stood when I had my first child because I recall having the beginnings of labor pains when I was shopping there, and it actually may have been when the store was closing down (which explains why I would be there while in labor, lol, though to be fair in the beginning I wasn't certain whether it was real or Braxton Hicks which I had been experiencing for a few days, they would come regularly and I'd think this must be it, but then they would just go away). I also remember a store called Hill's and of course, the old Woolworths (but that's from my childhood pretty much). Walmart came and wiped out all these old chains. I would rather go back to the old local dept stores and supermarkets and make Walmart and the super corporate grocery monopolies go extinct. *Sigh*
i’ve been studying the last case for a bit. the first time i heard of what happened i almost got sick on my couch. those poor, poor babies. imagine losing FOUR of your children to something so evil and unsettling. i really want someone to be charged with this horrible crime. i’m happy they got another son, that was truly a gift from god. i pray for these children to get justice. they deserve it.
I'm glad the Tan parents were able to have another child. It doesn't help what happened to them, but it's good to know they still have one source of joy in their lives.
Yfl 22 These stories are sad but it's important for someone to talk about them to preserve the memory of the victims, to hopefully solve the cases and for people to study the how and why of these murders.
When I has googled the babes in the woods case. It said a couple saw a women came out of the bushes. She made strange sounds then ran away. She wasn't wear a coat and only had one shoe..
Officially done watching every single one of your vids! All new material, great narrations, enchanting voice... I'm in love. I am subscribed and have liked every single one. Cant wait for Sunday!
Bobby and David Phillips: How about one beat the other to death and then committed suicide in remorse. A fire was said to have been tried. But was unsuccessful. That couldve been to hide the fact one brother killed the other. The other commited suicide out of just shere remorse and frustration at not being able to set it. And nothing was ransacked or taken? That was the first thought that came to mind. Yet the investigators were "stumped" according to the video. Why would someone shoot one brother only to beat the other to death? Makes no sense. Robbery apparently wasn't the motove.
Sherlock Holmes usually it's easy to tell when someone shoots themself because the gun usually stays in their hand or is nearby and based on how the body is lying and gunshot residue on the hand it's easy to tell if they shot themselves or not. They'd know if he committed suicide
While that is true. There are cases of which the Reverse is true. The way the narration was worded. It was the first thought that came to mind. I have done no research on the case. Well put.
David was shot several hours before Bobby ever got home tho .. then after killing Bobby they cleaned up, started the fire & left in a red Mitsubishi (neighbours saw it in the drive) .. fire went out & so on...
bless that man who raised money to buy a proper headstone.that was such a lovely thing to do for those two girls.

Crazy
Seriously this channel is the absolute best. I think the theory of the mother killing the two unidentified boys is probably correct, and she probably did it for a man. I've seen my fair share of stories of unwed women adopting out their small children so that they could get married during that point in history, as men often refused to take on someone else's child back then. If the mother was desperate and cold-hearted enough then murdering her children probably seemed like a good option to her. She probably even justified it to herself somehow, which is why she covered one of them with her coat.
"They will be better off/happier in heaven, and I can always have more kids" is probably what the psycho bitch thought!
I'm wondering if maybe the parents couldn't afford them anymore, so instead of putting them up for adoption, murder seemed better. Weak and lame excuse, I know, but it wouldn't be the first time.
Icyclear Yes, but a selfish motive: "If I can't have them, nobody can".
Awesome channel, keep up the great work 🙌🏼❤️
anmullenax05 Yes it is!!
anmullenax05 i
anmullenax05 j
Arcelia Hernandez you madam are tasty
Arcelia Hernandez I know I did the same thing when I found it lol I still watch often just hard to find videos I'm interested in on the page that I haven't watched already
With regards to the last case of the four siblings, how is it the police have a man covered with blood, carrying a knife around the time of the murders and knew the family, and can't get enough evidence? That makes NO sense!!
The police knew who Uncle was but he had connections with the triads or it was beleived he did. They didn't want to mess with that. He was a dangerous man.
I couldn't imagine losing a child just my pets dying was horrible enough losing a child has to be unbearable
idk why but love the background music you guys use in your videos! atmospheric yet eerie
Tori TheBubby û
It's perfect for the theme
I love how you post videos of cases I've never heard of before! I'm going to make some pancakes and binge older videos of yours. I would say I was going to smoke a blunt and do it but the last time I said that I had about 40 commenters telling me that I was a bad person. Lol anyways your videos are always awesome!!
The people telling you your a bad person for having a blunt obviously has never had bud before
Ronald McDonald true
Emmie J blunts over pancakes for me! I'm one of the rare few who doesn't get munchies, though; and, since I just binge watched all their videos, I remember that thread. You better watch your handling of the devil's lettuce, now!!
lol I love blunts AND pancakes!! Where were you awesome people about two videos ago when I got literally a 45 reply thread arguing over whether marijuana was bad for you or not... comments probably all left by like 11 times year old TH-cam commenters lmao
Ronald McDonald ain't that the truth!!
Your channel is haunting, mesmerizing and informative. By far one of the best I've seen. 🙌🏻
Yeah that's why I like it. Different and unheard of cases. Not the same old big media cases everyone knows of.
I like this dude's voice. Can I please hire you to do my eulogy when I die in this voice.I'll give you my savings, I don't even like my family.
Staci Collins lmfao! You're great for this!
TheDodicat u wouldnt even be here if it wasnt for ur family.. idiot
Same boat, hate my family, like good voices.
Dude, this is the best true crime channel. So concise and informative. Excellent work, keep it up!
very informative channel...done respectfully to the victim and their families...have me paranoid tho...
I've been waiting all week for this!! I binge watched all the other videos!
Well researched and detailed crimes. Really interesting!
Keep it up!
I love that you do stories from all over the world. Great videos!
I love watching these but it gives me major anxiety
Especially at night when you can't sleep.
Don't watch the True Crime channel that "DeadBug says" then... He is by far the BEST on TH-cam for MURDER CASES!
keep true crime on TH-cam. gathering and putting information out that helps solve crimes (old and new) is a very important thing. Criminally Listed keep doing your thing.
Need more “resolved” cases, this gets deepening after a while
Depressing*
I just can't imagine how sick/evil someone could be to hurt innocent children. I like that you are keeping these stories alive, always hoping that it could spark someone's memory.
"A witness take them out of the lineup, he was a family friend" and there was no evidence
Oh my God the last one hurt my heart so much. I have a daughter and i cant imagine losing her. This couple lost 4 and was getting taunting mail from the killer. The rest of their life must have been so miserable.
I love your channel. The narration is very well done. The photography is well done too. I'm looking forward to the next one.
All these unsolved murders are just so sad I do hope dearly justice is served for them.
Maybe they won't face justice in life but in death, they will face justice for eternity.
Thanks for whoever paid for the headstone. I wish you all the best in life ♥ may those beautiful sisters rest in peace
Love the channel, great videos thank you!
Almost 40 000 suuuubs! 😊💯
I knew of the Holmes case but I've never heard of the other stories. THIS is why your channel is the best! 👍
Love this channel. I've seen similar, but this is the best. Thank you for going the extra mile & making these videos interesting & informative. Great work 🤗
I'm addicted to this channel 😩
Thank you for putting these stories out there. Maybe something will come of it. Bless you. Never forget. Find them all.
Yay!!! You do such a great job on your videos. I love your channel💕
I'm so happy this channel has been growing! You guys describe the cases in a way you rarely see anywhere else :)
I'm gonna save this for when i'm cozy in bed with a good meal :')
I just love this channel.
The first case: I live an hour from Toukley and knew nothing about it. I just read that the mother didn't attend the funeral because she was so upset. It's scary to know that killers walk amongst us
It's just so heartbreaking to know how one human being can be so cruel to another. I will never understand.
uploaded 5 seconds ago. i have never been this early. 😐
I ALWAYS come early hehe 😉
TheConorsmithusa sounds like you should have that checked 😐
I wish he would do more than one video a week
kitty maybe he has a regular job too probably does this on his days off
Horror Pop - What does that have to do with anything?
Your channel is really interesting! Thanks for finding new stuff instead of the same stories everyone else focuses on.
Apart from the last case , these were new to me ... thanks so much for the video !
Same here.
I haven’t listened for some time due to just being busy. The evolution of his delivery skills has been amazing. Well done! Every video your delivery has gotten better. I didn’t even know it was the same reader! 🙌🏻
please please consider doing a video on munchausens by proxy cases, or murders with unusual/weird killing weapons. love your channel!
Keep up the great work, awesome channel!!!!!!!
i'm a big fan of this gem of a channel, here are some topic suggestions (the titles probably aren't "perfect" of course, they are more about the ideas themselves):
- unsolved murders by means of unusual/bizarre ways of poisoning.
- unsolved murders with supposed victims in several different countries all around the world/unsolved murders involving far-travelling serial killers.
- crimes that were solved by unbelievable coincidences or incredible luck.
I like the third one 👍
So far this is the best channel for criminal cases. Great job!!
Love this channel :) very informative and interesting.
Wow, another great video. The last story is particularly disturbing.
You guys are doing great. I'm awed, your subscription count has doubled since I last watched you guys! You had just more than 6,000 when I joined.
If you guys like crime, Cayleigh Elise does a fabulous in-depth video on the Tan family murders.
As always, love your content
anmullenax05 u
Yes. I love her videos and what she brings to them. She's a very empathetic kind person.
DeadBug says is a way BETTER channel for MURDER CASES...
I love Cayleigh Elise, so sa that she's retiring from TH-cam!
Top notch stories as always folks keep up the good work best subscription on here
I want to solve one of these some day
Yeah. I would be able to think that those people are at least happy the murders got caught
I love this channel!! you do a great job making these videos! You take what TV shows make a strung out boring 45 minute show into a 15-30 minute video and it's so much more interesting with more information! GREAT JOB!!
it takes a sick disturbed person to harm children.... hold your babies close
Your channel is the only channel I've ever been really excited to see has uploaded a video and I look forward to weekly. You're getting more popular too! Very worthy! 😊
Another amazing video!
I binge watched all of the videos on your channel about a month ago, and I've been watching ever since. I'm about to binge all of them again.
Been itching for some good mystery lately. Just found you guys. Itch scratched.
Best crime channel on TH-cam without a doubt
The last story, the couple had their last child on my exact birthdate - 12/30/1983. crazy
Awesome channel stumbled on yall been watching for hours now . Keep up great work
I love this channel
Your channel is awesome
Yes but truly sad Christopher. Wouldn't you say.
I'm just hoping you are kidding or you are taking youself way too much seriously
Yfl 22 They said the channel is awesome not murder. Sensitive much?
Yfl 22 These stories are sad but it's important for someone to talk about them to preserve the memory of the victims, to hopefully solve the cases and for people to study the how and why of these murders.
Jonathan Turbide indeed hun
Awesome channel! Thank you for getting the stories out there of cases that don't get much attention.
Each case is so Horrifically Sad! The Families that were Destroyed!😯 I don't know how the Murderers can go about life and that not Rip them apart!
great video!!!!!! one of the best channels on youtube!
That last story was horrifying, my heart broke for the parents.
Your channel has become my new obsession. Thank you!
Sherlock Holmes uu
