I've been riding with the same pedals since last summer too. I've noticed a few pins have gone missing and this week had to screw a few back in. But otherwise they've took a kicking and have been great. For the price they've been available for (under £50 at times) I think they are a bargain.
I've just snagged a pair for £40, chain reaction are giving them away at that price. If you screw the pins in with locktite thread lock then you'll never have an issue with loose pins again 👍🏻
Thank you for sharing this! They are a brilliant set of pedals. At that price they are a bargain! I was lucky not to loose any pins during this review, hopefully losing them is an uncommon thing. Great idea with the thread lock - Certainly worth the time & effort if it means the pins will never be lost 😊
Interesting I just fitted the new enduro one's and can't get them to stay on my new emtb! Pedal forward they unscrew and fall off its a brand new bike and brand new Pedals had to dig the left out my shin yesterday when happened again! Just wondering if this was the right way round or if they should tighten when pedalling like my old bike's? Sound pretty stupid asking this it does have the R and L stamped on them and on correct it's not the spindle unscrewing it's the actual Pedal from crank arms!?
Hello 😊 The left pedal will not go into the right crank arm and the right pedal should not go into the left crank arm as the threads are opposite. They do need a nip to stay in place. I can’t see why they would come loose if they are nipped tight… it might be worth tightening them up a little more or maybe using some loctite, however this isn’t usually needed 😊 How are the bearings? Are they a little stiff? I hope this helps 😊

@@Hookythehammer good tip on the loktite cheers. I hadn't thought of that.
