Nadia, you should tackle that room 15 minutes at a time, no longer, even if you get into the swing of it. Make sure you set a timer. I promise it’ll change your life & the way you tackle mess forever. it’s especially good for ppl with ADD. The timer means you don’t get sidetracked & just focus on the task. The 15 mins makes it easily achievable & also means you don’t get pissed off doing it for hours & then never want to do it again. Also realising what you can achieve in 15 mins is unbelievable!! Xx

So agree with this.I have terrible OCD ,but then was diagnosed with severe back/joint arthritis and Fms.It meant no matter how much i wanted to sort/clear/clean etc ,i havent the energy anymore.Such a great tip ,to do what you can ,then stop.Go back and do a little more ,when you`re able.You don`t feel so bogged down ,and ,even if it takes a week ,you get the job done properly.Love reading comments on here ,it`s becaome such a lovely community :)x
Joy1977 sounds awful Joy, I’m so glad my bit of advice has helped a bit, it has worked wonders for me. You must use a timer, I don’t know what it is but it just turns it from the mundane to really fun (promise😂) you get competitive with it. I’ve always been super organised, my parents were so untidy so I rebelled & swore I’d never be embarrassed to open my own front door but since having my boys only a year apart everything went to 💩. If I’m in a rush, which is always!! I set a 5 min timer in every room. Honestly it works miracles. Hope this helps, the anxiety mess gives you is just awful. I know exactly how Nadia feels when she’s sat in the room 😩. Good luck with everything. Xx
@@selinahughes7347 Thanks so much for that.Will definitely use a timer.I tend to have a "reasonable" day ,and overdo it ,landing me back to square one where i`m unable to do anything.Thiis also helps with my OCd ,as i feel at least i`ve achieved something.Don`t feel too bad ,i remember when mine were small..Most things got done when they slept!LOL ,But then you need a break too.Happy (chunks:) of cleaning.xxx

Great that you braved your anxiety!.. I suffer , was agrophobic for 4 years and it was just the worst time!.. but I did it , i beat that stuff and I'm getting out more and more . I have other health issues but you no what I'm not letting it beat me .. I'm stronger now and my mind thinks different about little things .. it's the simple things in life that make you happy .. I read that you braved a trip out to see your family ! To some that's nothing but I no to you that is a massive thing! So be proud of that and carry on your journey of getting out more ... your amazing and keep saying that to your self ... xx

I think too much choice gives people anxiety. Whether its packing clothes for going away or choosing between brands of food in the supermarket. Keep it simple and you will be happier and more free.

It makes me feel better to see other people waking up feeling a bit down or flat or just fed up makes me feel more connected as it's realistic and i don't feel so weird for having those kind of days too when nothing's wrong but it's not rainbows and sunshine all day. Don't ever feel we only want to see fun and happiness Mark I think most viewers come here for a more authentic family x

Aww Nanny Di reminds me so much of my Grandma when she was younger. She’s in a home for dementia now, and I’ve moved a couple hours away from home. I go see her whenever I can when I’m home. It’s nice to see your girls interact with her so much. So many elderly women and men are just ignored by their family 😕
Saturday can be an odd anticlimax. Often gets easier as the day unfolds. I find once you leave the house, it blows away the cobwebs of the week? Nadia appeared a bit flat considering she was off to Spain, maybe that inadvertently added to your mood? Your weeks are so full on. Markets and scripts takes some withdrawal.
