37:10 I'm going to explain what they're talking about because I want to. It's a weird ruling that has to do with a sort of condition for when a monster leaves the field. The ghoti when summoned it sort if marked the spinos with a condition, so to speak, so that it would be banished when it leaves the field. When the other trap card attempted to banish it, the moment it left the field it was instead banished by the ghoti's effect. Another example would be Destrudo summoned using it's effect, rusty bardiche summoned by fog blade, and zealantis. What happens in that situation is that when zealantis uses it's effect: 1. Destrudo will be returned to the bottom of the deck as per the condition set by it's own effect. 2. Rusty will be banished by the condition set by fog blade, note that this means it wasn't banished by zealantis, and as such zealantis won't summon it back because it wasn't banished by zealantis. 3. Zealantis will be banished and then summoned back. I just like this ruling because it's very unique and is also total jank. If you what more jank, look at how the kaijus interact when banished by S:P and brought back.

Really tho, what do you hit here? He has a handful of good strats that can all get way better if he pulls adjacent packs. You could hit Tang to hurt Marincess, but that doesnt completely kill it, just makes it worse as a splashable (heh) engine. There isnt really a one-card ban that kills Ghoti, altho losing Shif would make it really hard to justify. The Verns didnt pan out, but they can definitely get tossed into a ton of shit in the future.
Ah, glad to see a return to 15 packs. I get trying out 10 with 3 guys cuz pack opening can take so long, but 10 is nearly never enough unless you pull the freaking nuts.
Maybe there should be some kinda grace period so if you pull a card prior to a ban list, you still have a couple of duels to use them? Cause it does feel like there’s a case of recency bias here. I’m kinda in the same boat. Farfa always makes the jelly cannon jokes but Gage genuinely trying to make a fun strategy with his pulls every episode and has effectively used the nature of this being a progression series to build a deck out of multiple different packs Meanwhile Farfa just leans back on one of two powerful engines he’s pulled in the past and doug is doing his best with the dreadful pulls he’s gotten. I feel like every time Gage finally gets into a deck that’s fun to watch, it gets banned to all hell.
White aura whale is absolutely bonkers in this. Reigeki when summoned, can attack monsters 2 times with piercing, and if its destroyed it can summon itself by banishing a fish from grave. And thats not once per turn.
Being a madolche fan is rough. They’ve got good recursion and a lot of good N/R stuff. Their pack is pretty good with making up most of the UR and SRs. The SRs are really good and the only real issue is if you happen to pull into the box of friends stuff or the random zombiestein. Farfa, Gage, and Doug have pulled good SRs and Doug even got one of the really good URs and they keep passing it up. It’s pretty good and I think it’s slept on.
I think mbt played it most recently on dzeefs channel. but whoever it was ended up like 60% on box of friends. it feels like one of those labyrinth style trap packs people focus on the upper limit of its power and not really on the average expected deck.
@@Xenonfuji I feel like you still have decent stuff with the N/R. Obviously the SR stuff is cracked but the N/R isn’t bad. The field spell is an attack boost plus recursion. Salon allows for another normal summon and allows you to set spells and traps from the deck. Ticket is a searcher or even free special summon. The link is protection for backrow and hard to remove. Night is a monster negate and potentially a hand rip. Promenade is a monster negate plus facilitates the spells. Marmalade adds a spell/trap. Mewfeuille can be an extra special summon to go into the link 2. Tea break is a spell/trap negate. And this is all from the N/R section. Not even including any of the cracked SR support. Even without the XYZ I could see a control style play around Puddingcess, Promenade, and Night for removal/negates, the spells for a bunch of advantage, and just swarm the board with monsters to beat down with like Doug’s ignkight deck.

before the next banning I think surprise bans are fine BUT they have to be written down BEFORE the banning and revealed AFTER all 3 players have give. their bans/limits

Gage is getting a more well-rounded deck list every episode! This time, the Ghoti’s gave him some nice big beefy extra deck monsters and some good banish recursion. 2:08- 2:23 Somewhere in the distance, an Ohime laughs… 24:18 - 25:58 This was definitely the highlight and that’s all I can say about Farfa’s Cyberse Numeron deck. Doug has some kind of a pendulum strategy in the works, but it’s not quite refined yet. Evenly matched in terms of victory ratios in this episode once again.

To be fair, it is confusing, as seas are just the oceans that are partially enclosed by land and even that isn’t always true (like the Sargasso Sea being 60% surrounded by ocean), but still generally connected to the ocean on at least one side. I didn’t know the difference for years because in my language, we use 1 word for both.
Seas are smaller than oceans and are generally surrounded by lands. For a better understanding of the concept, there are 12 seas surrounding Pacific ocean.

I can guarentee Ghoti plays the field spell. Just being able to search anything you want and functionally plus is very good for the deck, it's just not searchable in engine. Also the Ghoti hit is just the tuners. You get rid of Shif and Paces, the deck can't play anymore until the player gets more tuners.
I would have loved if Crush Cards just edited in a horribly balanced and deep fried audio clip of Doug saying "Monday" while you can barely hear the "Wednesday" in the background. That woulda been hilarious.

I tried to make a mikanko deck, and every Holo i pulled in those packs was from outside the pack, what a tease. I did open electron illusions and, space time for the alt arts, got 9 packs deep in both and both ladt packs were not shiny so i skipped them both after 9 packs of dissapointment. Ended up pulling both alt art evil twins, and I:P and S:P in the last packs of both sets.
Multiple ghoti cards have been banned from our monster league cube (everything is every type/attribute), because when you unlock them from fish they just get too out of hand.
For the finale, please allow each player to use X number of banned cards. I really like it when the finale shows off the best/iconic decks from the whole season.
It's come to point (which came WEEKS ago) that I have to always support Gage in this series with how often his decks are bullied, sometimes even into oblivion.
Master saga in the oven until they are crisp-tender and the complaints would probably drop at least a little bit. When you play Eldlich I think you can discard it for a flavorful side of the duelist. Depression packs make my tummy hurt.
What a weird Wednesday today is. If i didn't know any better I could have sworn today was Monday, but since Saga only airs on Wednesday it's clearly Wednesday. Jokes aside Farfa woke up and chose violence today. I do find it funny Gage is making fun of Farfa for set passing in a deck designed to go 2nd and kill when he proceeds to just set 2 and summon 1 as usual.
You know, just from remembering what decks Mr. Dzeeff brought to the table, it felt very odd to be reminded at the beginning of the episode that he was still leading in points.
here is another idea, if one of you guys end the last episode on a 0-2, IF you pull a banned pack, you can pull from it, but only if it was a 0-2 and pulled in the Master Pack, banned cards on the ban episode will remain banned

Master saga in the oven until they are crisp-tender and the complaints would probably drop at least a little bit. When you play Eldlich I think you can discard it for a flavorful side of the duelist. Depression packs make my tummy hurt.
What a weird Wednesday today is. If i didn't know any better I could have sworn today was Monday, but since Saga only airs on Wednesday it's clearly Wednesday.
Jokes aside Farfa woke up and chose violence today. I do find it funny Gage is making fun of Farfa for set passing in a deck designed to go 2nd and kill when he proceeds to just set 2 and summon 1 as usual.

You know, just from remembering what decks Mr. Dzeeff brought to the table, it felt very odd to be reminded at the beginning of the episode that he was still leading in points.
Hate the fact I've had to wait a lot longer for the episode. But also it's a Monday night at work and it's great to have something to watch.

here is another idea, if one of you guys end the last episode on a 0-2, IF you pull a banned pack, you can pull from it, but only if it was a 0-2 and pulled in the Master Pack, banned cards on the ban episode will remain banned
